City removals were fantastic for us throughout. The detailed video survey gave us confidence they knew what they needed to do. The flexibility over packing options - we went for the fragile only option and nothing was broken during the move. They took the furniture apart and put it all back together so well. The moving team were friendly and efficient, made the whole experience stress free for us and much easier than we thought it would be. Fantastic, can't recommend them enough.

We booked City Removals because of their professional status and value. We were a bit concerned from reading some of the reviews, but there was no reason. City Removals we’re efficient and friendly, the communication was great throughout and a 5 man team arrived to pack, deliver and unpack our stuff. These guys worked hard and fast despite the heat, they asked immediately if they needed direction, dismantled and reassemble a few of our big items and took care when handling our goods. I would definitely recommend using City Removals.

The three man team that did my packing and removal service worked harder than I’ve ever seen people work. They were also kind, patient, friendly and thoughtful. I was on my own and found the moving process quite overwhelming but they were supportive and incredibly efficient. Nothing was a drama. We had storms, difficult access, awkward stairs but they worked as a close team and were very calm. Highly recommended.

We hired City Removals to take care of our move from a 2-bedroom flat on the 2nd floor (no lift) to a 3-bedroom house (2 storeys). We got a total of 8 quotes, some of which were in person, while others were via video call or over the phone. City Removals gave a great first impression: they seemed efficient, professional and attentive. Unlike other companies, they did not try to overcharge us or, conversely, to lure us in with a underquote (followed by a nasty surprise on the day!). They were very quick to answer follow-up queries, and accommodating with slight changes in plans. They sent one man for the packing, and 4 men for the actual move the following day. We were so impressed with the service, from the impeccable packing (so quick, and so well done!), the speedy and careful removal, and the outstanding dismantling & reassembling. The movers were very nice, and clearly very good at their jobs. Thank you so much for a wonderfully stress-free move. I didn’t know it could be so smooth and easy!

This is my second time to use City Removals. I was happy for their service before, but not this time. They packed roughly on 1 Sep 2020. All stuff fell off during my unpack. Moved on 2 Sep 2020. They broke one of my wall lamps and my mirror. They will contribute good will gesture for this. But I have not yet received. We requested collection of cartons on 14 Sep. They agreed to collect on 19 Oct. But no one showed. The next collection of cartons is 1 Oct. I need to keep the cartons for 2 weeks. Too late! They asked me to recycle the cartons by myself if I can't wait. Collection of cartons included in the packing service price. They are responsible on this, but they failed. Updated on 15/10/2020 According to the reply of City Removals on 14/10/2020, I had never received £50 that they agreed to pay me. They cannot keep what they promised. I do not find them to be a reliable company.

All of our household goods were in a storage facility in SE London. City removals provided a very reasonable quotation without any fuss and organised the pick-up of our things at quite short notice. There were no problems and the job was completed quickly and efficiently without any supervision. The delivery was made the next day to our new house in the Lake District again without any fuss or problems. The guys who did the work were polite, good natured and efficient.and very, very hard-working. They were quick but the care they took with our things was exemplary and faultless. I cannot praise them enough, nor the people I dealt with in the office.and in my view they all undoubtedly deserve this five star rating. I would definitely recommend others to use this company.

Every step was made easy from the first contact, a quote, questions answered, advice given delivery of boxes & finally packing, pick up and delivery if my furniture and boxes. This company are efficient, professional, friendly and made me feel at ease, would highly recommend

City began by offering a very competitive quote for the move from our 2 bedroom house to a 3 bedroom house. Following their home survey I contacted them several times by phone and found their customer service excellent. We engaged City for packing and removal. Their staff were experienced and thorough. They took time and trouble to ensure all fragile objects were carefully wrapped, even individual glasses. On the day of the move 4 men loaded our possessions onto 3 vans. Most things had been boxed up beforehand apart from large and unusual objects as furniture and houseplants. In addition an outside workshop, which was packed with stuff, was carefully boxed and loaded as well as many outdoor plants, a large wooden planter and garden furniture. The team worked enthusiastically and needed persuading to take a coffee break. At our new property, a 2 and a half hour drive from London, it was beginning to get dark when we arrived with the keys. The team had already begun unloading the vans and placing the outdoor items in place. The team again worked enthusiastically. All boxes and furniture were placed in the correct room according to their labels. We were asked where to put items of furniture and everything including 2 double wardrobes were placed in our chosen positions even though it was necessary dismantle and reassemble a wardrobe. City managed our move confidently and patiently. Nothing was broken. We were really impressed and grateful. We highly recommend them.

Could not have wished for a better moving experience. Everything went according to plan and they were bang on time. All the removal men were friendly and helpful in every way. Everything was handled and wrapped with perfection. Nothing was damaged. Price was very good. What was offered was far more than the other 4 quotes we received. Moving is generally very stressful but our move went very smoothly indeed. Would recommend this company to everyone we know. They are great.

We received 3 quotes from different companies. City Removals were the middle priced quote and their service stood out from the initial consultation. We used their packing service as well which was worth every penny. We had 2 completion days cancelled at very short notice and City Removals did all they could to find another suitable date for us. On the day of packing they were waiting ready outside early and also on removal day, they started 30 minutes early which was just excellent. The staff we met (5 different) for packing and removal were extremely quick, efficient, incredibly hard working, polite and very careful with our home and contents. I was apprehensive about moving home especially when my wife was away overseas visiting our daughter and granddaughter. Everyone said I was mad to move when my wife was away. I was moving from a 5 bedroomed home to a 3 bed flat. But I need not have worried. Right from the time Nicola came over to see what was involved to giving me the quote and arranging the packing and moving over a weekend, everything was just perfectly sorted out! The team that came on Saturday and then again on Sunday were just amazing. Nothing was too much for them. If I had forgotten to give them something to pack they would happily unseal the box and pack again.They helped to disconnect my electrical appliances etc. The move into my new temporary home was just as smooth. Sebastian and his team did a first-class job in moving us from a five-bedroomed house to a flat a few miles away in London. They were efficient and hard-working, good at the heavy lifting but with a delicate touch whenever called for. The price was competitive, with no hidden extras, and no complaint when there was a delay. The move was just as painless and well-handled as the City Removals assessor had assured us it would be. They are so good at what they do that they deserve to be regarded as the market leaders in their field.

I was very impressed at the outset with the professional manner of the assessor who came to size up our things. He was very clear about what was provided, making our lives very easy. These guys packed efficiently and well, working industriously for two whole days. When it became clear an extra man would be needed, they were at pains to keep the additional charge to cost. Everything was moved extremely well and quickly, enabling us to settle in to the new home rapidly - all we had to worry about was unpacking! They also came to collect the boxes very promptly, a few days later, upon request.

The price given was really competitive - much less than other quotes. On the move day, the two men arrived early and made sure the property was protected from their footprints. All items were placed carefully and protected as necessary in the van. They were super careful with some antique furniture too. They unloaded efficiently and cheerfully too, again protecting the property from their shoes. Overall, a brilliant service. I'd recommend.

Moved from London to Birmingham, they arrived on time with two vans to move all our stuff. They took care with every item, wrapped properly when necessary, had a perfect large tv cover, other materials to pack pretty much everything. At the other end they unloaded and place all items in the requested rooms. Overall very pleased and all at the very good price.

This was a complex move involving moving one property into storage and then moving another property along with the stuff in storage across country. The team were efficient, friendly, very polite and remarkably good at both packing, loading and unloading. They worked extremely hard, dismantled some items of furniture and put them back together again. They also dismantled and re-installed white goods. There were no breakages. We would recommend them highly and the prices charged were fair and competitive

We recently moved from London to York and City completely took the stress out of the physical move. Prompt, polite and wonderfully efficient, they had everything from our sizeable 2-bed flat packed and loaded on to their vans within a few hours on Day 1. They arrived ahead of us at the new property on Day 2 and had us unloaded in no time. When we discovered that our big sofa wouldn't fit (entirely our fault), they also took it to a storage facility without fuss and at no extra charge. You simply won't find a more accommodating and efficient team - and in terms of value they put their London competitors to shame. Out of 12 quotes, theirs was up to 50% lower than 10. We can't recommend City Removals highly enough.

I can honestly say, what a superb company this is, their customer service is second to none. I've used them 3 times in the past year to pack and move myself, my mother-in-law and my son and on each occasion they've been absolutely amazing! In fact, for my Mother-in-law's move, they picked up the keys from the estate agents, packed and travelled from Twickenham, Middx to Alton, Hampshire and didn't meet my wife & her mum until they were at the storage facility!! They're so polite, trustworthy, efficient, careful with our belongings and extremely good value for money compared to some of the other quotes we were given, I'd like to give them at least 10 stars!!

We were very impressed by city removals.

I decided to use City Removals after getting several quotes. They were not the cheapest but seemed to promise the best service. This certainly turned out to be the case. They were easy to contact via the phone and email. On the moving day they arrived punctually and loaded the van incredibly quickly. At the other end they unloaded just as quickly, constructed beds and plumbed in the washing machine. Overall a great service and one I would recommend.

The entire process has been quick, simple and clear: I asked for an estimate online and they immediately arranged a survey with a very nice and professional gentleman. The price was one of the lowest I received. On the day of the moving, a crew of 3 men arrived with a truck: they worked really fast and thoroughly, without any damage or trouble. We used City to move our household from Woodford Green to Somerset. They were helpful, punctual and flexible. In fact they were the only non-stressful thing about moving! From the helpfulness on the telephone, to the waiting around for us to get our keys on the day, nothing was too much trouble. NOTHING broken! Would highly recommend.

I couldn't recommend this company more. From the initial contact with the sales office through to the moving day itself they were professional, polite and efficient. I was very impressed with how quickly they moved our goods into our new house and they took great care to ensure the boxes were placed into the correct rooms. We had a move from a 2nd floor flat with a number of fragile and bulky items. We did the packing ourselves - although they do offer a packing service themselves - and the team arrived in the early morning. They had emptied our 2-bed flat within about 4 hours. The team worked relentlessly. They dismantled all the flat pack furniture and also took a lot of the items in bulk wrapped cellophane. I was also very happy with the overall customer service. They did a site visit prior to the quote and also tried to arrange a parking suspension with the council. They remained in constant communication before the big day. For a house move, being a big stressful event, City Removals were responsible for the least stressful bit. Would recommend highly. They're slightly more pricey but are well worth the extra expense.

I just wanted to thank City Removals and Storage for doing a fantastic job of packing and moving the contents of my flat. Throughout the process from getting the quote to the final move, the staff have been amazing, very friendly, helpful and have made my move across London easy and hassle-free. My move was quite complicated as I had the contents of my place being transported to two different addresses. City removals took this in their stride and could not have been more obliging in all aspects of the move. During the move, there were a number of complications with dismantling my beds but the guys went beyond the call of duty in ensuring that my beds were dismantled and put together appropriately. All the packing was excellent and everything got to its destination intact and labelled. We did not have a huge amount of stuff but stil we were quite concerned on finding a good company. The service was very good from start to finish.Emails were always answerred quickly and correctly.They also suspended the parking for us.The moving people were punctual and very polite and hardworking. They did not break anything.they were fast and organized. Also i was impressed by the ease with which they take furniture apart and than put it back together. Many of our pieces were wrapped with blankets and covers. No headache or stress at all on our move day.

I was really impressed with the team from City Removals. They did a fantastic job moving our furniture and really went the extra mile to make sure we had all the pieces where we wanted them, even if it meant a lot more effort to break down and rebuild a cupboard (which I thought was going to be impossible). The guys arrived a little later than the scheduled time, but they called ahead and made me aware of what time they were going to arrive, which was spot-on. Overall, a fantastic, efficient and professional service. They were recommended to us by a friend and I am very happy to recommend them and use their services for future moves.

The van turned up exactly when arranged. The two packers were courteous, listened to my instructions; and explained very clearly the process. They packed efficiently but also with great care, taking time to properly wrap delicate items and labelling boxes logically. Our stuff was taken away for overnight storage and they returned to finish packing the next day - because of the distance involved, it made sense to get an early start. When I met them at the storage unit in Leeds, again exactly at the estimated time, they were again swift, careful and efficient in unloading our things. Now we have finally moved our stuff into our house (there was a delay between moving out and moving in) I can vouch that nothing is broken and everything is there. Having undercut Pickfords by about £1000, I honestly can't imagine what I would have got for the extra money: the move was timely, efficient, hassle-free and undertaken in a friendly, professional manner. As such, I wholeheartedly recommend City Removals.

I booked City Removals to move a large number of bulky items including some antique furniture and boxed china.They also brought all the packing materials they needed to wrap all the furniture as agreed. The company was a pleasure to do bussiness with and from the start they were brilliant. Everyone associated with the company behaved professionaly and were willing to help. They moved everything with relative ease and were very methodical and organized. Price wise they were cheaper than some of the quotes but not the cheapest. They also showed us their insurance policy via email when we asked. Again the whole service was really good and i would use again

This was only a small move from E1 to the Heron Building.i did all the packing myself so i cannot comment on their ability to pack. I can however comment on their ability to carry things and they were extremely good at it.Two not very big but strong and smart lads helped on the day.They were polite and clean and experienced and helpfull and i could go on and on. Also they recycled a desk i no longer wanted at a very reasonable price. The office people dealt with the parking.As this is always difficult in central london they arranged for suspensions at both my addresses.The council charges I feel are high but not too much choice.Anyway it was very handy they dealt with this. Nothing broken or scratched.All my things arrived perfectly intact. Would be happy to recommend and use again.

A complicated house move of a family of five hoarders from the south to the north of England was handled from start to finish with friendly, polite and flexible professionalism. What could have been a nightmare, worked out very smoothly and as a result was very stress free. The only possible negative is that these guys just work SO fast you have to be organised at your end. Nothing was broken, everything was packed beautifully - including my just finished coffee mug! and the team of five were extremely polite and helpful. We also had a second destination, 12 miles from the main relocation site, where we needed four pieces of furniture and a grand piano to be delivered and the packing was handled so well that there was no double handling and everything just ended up in the right places. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company to any one moving house, and in fact have already done so to several of my friends. Oh, they were also less expensive than the two other large companies that I got to quote, and although this was not a deciding factor, it was great to feel so satisfied with the service that we received.

We are very happy with the service received from City Removals. The office staff were very helpful over the phone in estimating how much time and what kind of vehicle would be required. The moving crew were extremely polite and professional. The men arrived early and moved the contents of our flat quickly into the Luton van. Good care was taken of all our items and nothing was broken. They did a great job moving everything into the new property as well. We would not hesitate to use City Removals again for any future moves.

A few weeks after our move, we are still struck by the superb service we got from City Removals. Their estimator was by far the most professional of the estimators we saw, checking every nook and cranny to be sure there would be no surprises on moving day, and giving us plenty of good advice even before we had chosen our preferred removers. This continued through the weeks before exchange of contracts, with plenty of advice and reassurance from whoever happened to answer the phone when we rang. Then when it came to moving day, the four men who came were bang on time, were very polite and friendly, then worked hard throughout the day to move us out (4 bedrooms, fully furnished) and into our new home, with a 3 hour drive in the middle, double-checking with us that everything was in the right room before they left. All in all, City Removals were consistently professional and efficient and we really can't find anything to complain about.
