I would highly recommend using C J Charles Ltd. Not only are they quick and efficient, they also saved us a small fortune on hiring scaffolding when replacing our boiler. They came out and undertook a full survey for the quote and carried out the works in less than a week from us accepting the quote! The installation team were very polite and friendly and left no mess in our house, everything was tidied as they went. We can't thank the team enough for working quickly and efficiently around our house with minimal disruption. I don't think I would look anywhere else for plumbing and heating after using C J Charles.

If you go with these guys, you won’t go wrong. Faultless service from start to finish. I contacted a few boiler engineers advertised in Which? Trader but this was the only company who had the courtesy to return my call, they were excellent and the right choice. Colin from CJCharles came and visited my house to give me a quote for a new boiler. He explained my options, and different costs, no pressure. Once we went with his quote, everything from start to finish was seamless. Suzanne in admin, was efficient and friendly, Colin and Carl fitted the boiler quickly and professionally. All brilliant.

The installation team turned up on time and worked hard for 2 days replacing the old boiler and flushing the system out (lots of sludge to be removed). At all times the team were very polite and courteous. They also took great care to make sure they kept the area clean and tidy. Very happy with the work and would recommend without hesitation.

Cannot recommend CJ Charles enough. New Boiler and Radiators with smart TRV's were installed quickly to a high standard, the professional staff were conscientious extremely helpful and friendly. My house was left clean and tidy with all waste including the old Boiler and Radiators disposed of. Really couldn't have asked for more, having had similar work done before I was a little apprehensive but I had no need, they were excellent. Within a couple of hours of the work being done I had received all the appropriate paperwork including the invoice at the price we agreed.

From phone to the office to completion I would highly recommend CJ Charles Ltd, their service engineer billy just serviced my boiler and checked the rads, now I have piece of mind for another 12 months, excellent work I will have no hesitation in using them again and recommending them. CJ Charles replaced an old boiler with a combi Worcester Bosch boiler. It involved stripping out the old systems, including removing both hot and cold tanks and a ton of redundant pipework. The central heating system was completely overhauled with a power flush, and seized fittings were replaced. Some of the pipework was fifty years old. After my initial contact, Colin, the company boss, very quickly arranged a visit and gave an estimate. The office administration was highly efficient. When something was said, it was going to be done, it happened when it was promised and on time. Work began shortly after I accepted the quotation. It was a three-day job. The workmen were extremely pleasant to deal with and clearly knew their job. They were very careful in their work, putting down dust sheets and were at pains to cause as little disruption as possible. Additional work was tackled when it became apparent such as replumbing the electric shower and replacing the connectors for the bath taps. I was not charged extra for these. On the evening, the boiler was up and running we had a leak. This was caused by the fifty-year-old piping not being up to the new pressure and efficiency of the system. The boss of the company moved very quickly to deal with the emergency and further work was done to replace these old pipes. We are extremely happy with the new system and our experience with the company. I would highly recommend using CJ Charles.

They came when they said. They were professional and appear to have done a good job. They took away the old boiler, the old water tank, the old expansion tank and associated pipework. They put in a new gas-pipe as the old pipe wasn't large enough for the new combi-boiler. The old pipe had gone under the concrete floor so they had to put it around the outside of the house. They tidied up afterwards. No complaints at all.

I highly recommend CJ Charles Ltd. They recently replaced our gas boiler with a condensing combi. Colin came to inspect the system and give a quotation for the work. He was on time and thorough in his assessment of what was required. He explained in detail what would be done and was able to answer all my questions. The office kept me up to date with the progress of our order. The engineers arrived on time to do the work. The two of them were tidy when working and put down protection sheets where they were working. I am completely satisfied with CJ Charles Ltd.

CJ Charles were chosen to fit a new boiler into our house, they arrived on the day and time that we agreed, they told us what they would be turning off and when, we were very impressed with there professionalism and happy outlook, when the job was done everything was tested and we were shown various controls to make our life easier, the next day they emailed us a video on using the boiler and thermostat All in all great company to do business with

They installed a new Worcester Bosch combi boiler to replace our standard boiler. Turned up on time, explained what work they were going to carry out then quickly got started. I am glad I decided on C J Charles as they listened to what I wanted installing and carried this out to a very high standard. We now have the hottest radiators they have ever been and we don't run out of hot water! I would recommend.

We can not be happier with the work carried out by CJ Charles. From our initial contact to the follow up phone call we were delighted with the communication, speed and quality of work. The team of engineering fitters worked very hard over the two days and caused us minimal interference. The work was carried out efficiently and to the highest of standards. We would have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone looking at having central heating fitted.

The team that installed the new boiler at our house were both efficient and effective. They arrived in good time and we were able to leave the team to get on with the installation. They were an experienced team who knew what they were doing, and they kept us informed throughout the day on progress. They gave us a run through of the controls and what to do in case of any problems. The added benefit is that they are a local firm (about a mile from our house) who came recommended by Worcester, and they lived up to that recommendation. I would recommend them to anyone looking for similar work.

I am very pleased indeed with CJ Charles. From first contact, through to completion, my experience was absolutely first class. Communication was exemplary throughout, and everything was conducted in a very friendly and timely manner. Guy the engineer has a very professional approach, and he has extensive knowledge. He was able to answer any questions that I had and was very willing to pass on the benefit of his experience. Excellent service, and all to a very high standard. He was very thorough and nothing was too much trouble. I found all the members of staff to be polite, friendly and professional. They were very thorough and did an excellent service on the boiler. Everywhere was left clean and tidy. They were experiencing staffing difficulties at the time due to the coronavirus, but I was treated extremely well. Like a long standing valued customer, despite being a brand new one. Exceptional customer service! I will definitely use them again, and I thoroughly recommend them.

I would highly recommend the guys at CJ Charles! We had a new boiler fitted recently after our old one packed up. Colin arranged for the fitting to be brought forward by 3 weeks as we were completely stuck and panicking with no hot water or heating! I have to say the customer service from the very first contact to finish has been superb. Just so easy and stress free. Not to mention the price, very competitive against other quotes we had. Ben and Will did a great job on the day. Polite, clean & tidy and kept us updated during the install. A couple of weeks since the install now and we are over the moon with it. has made such a huge difference to our home having hot water and heating! We even received a lovely house plant from the team last week which was a lovely surprise and just shows they go out of their way. Good old fashioned customer service at its very best. We wanted a local company to do it and we 100% made the right decision!

Competitively priced (wasn't the cheapest) but you get what you pay for in terms of service, attention to detail, no hidden extras and your first next service free of charge and they turn up when they say they will, keep you fully up to date as to progress and with excellent communication. The work was very tidy and the pipe work / install looked like it came out of the brochure. Thank you for a job well done, a great team who are professional and friendly you won't go wrong.

Very good service from beginning to end. A team of two, Craig and Carl, fitted my new boiler. Very clean, hard working men. They covered the floor with dust sheets and cleared up at the end. Craig kindly set up my phone for the thermostat, for which I was very grateful. The price was very good and I would have no hesitation in recommending C J Charles to anyone.
