Clerkenwell Motors is an independent family run company established in 1993 in Central London. We are located in between Islington, Camden and the City and serve all three. Clerkenwell motors is an approved RAC, AA and MIPOC garage, and is a WHICH trusted trader.
We provide extensive services for cars, vans and motorcycles. The garage offers competitive MOT services, as well as specialist electrical, mechanical and crash repairs. We cater for all types of cars. No job is too small and no job is too difficult! We accept all forms of payment including Visa and Master card.
Our extensive range of services includes: MOT, general and regular service, free quotations, car diagnostics, tyre replacement and wheel balancing, esi(tronic) diagnostics, performance tuning, accident repair, body repair, air conditioning service, electronics repair.

I was so grateful. Missed my MoT date, campervan wouldn’t start, AA/RAC couldn’t help because of lack of MoT. Clerkenwell Motors sorted it all. Came to start the van, led me to their garage, did the Mot even though I had no booking and did not charge me for the call-out. Superb service all round. I plan to use them now for regular services. Well done guys!

On 12 May, I took my car to the team at Clerkenwell Motors for its annual service. They were thorough, kind and professional, as usual. Over the years, they have proactive in helping me care for my car, alerting me to problems that may develop in addition to any current issues. They respond well to my questions, helping me understand any work they need to do and helping me make good choices in that regard. Trust is an essential for me in doing business with anyone. Since my first time going to Sav in late 2006, I have not only watched his business grow but I have also learned that I can trust him with my car.

I think this garage is a joke
Booked my car in weeks in advance. Arrive at the MOT centre to be told they can't do the car today. They can't do the car tomorrow. The car will need to be booked in again - yes why not what could possibly go wrong with that suggestion. If this was the last garage in London to use would I use it then - no I'd drive to Brighton in preference to going through the utter mess of trying to get them to do what they were booked to do.

I have used Clerkenwell motors for servicing on 3 cars over the last 11 years. They provide a fantastic personal service, and the quality of their work is brilliant. When I had a problem with my car on holiday in the south of France in 2006, I phoned them up and described the symptoms, I got a diagnosis and with the help of a dictionary I managed to get hold of the necessary bits and fix it enough to get me home. Then they took over and sorted the problem properly. I can't praise them enough - for a garage, brilliant.

Clerkenwell Motors have serviced 3 cars for me over the last 11 years. Their level of personal service has always been fantastic. Once when on holiday in the South of France, the car was not going well, I phoned up CM, got a diagnosis and with the help of a dictionary managed to get the bits and do the work myself, enough to get me home. Then they took over and sorted things properly. For a garage they are brilliant. I wouldn't want to use anyone else.
