Chris did a fantastic job fitting our kitchen and panelling our hallway and bathroom to a really high standard. He was great to work with — communicative, flexible, and full of helpful advice. Pickford & Dyche designed and created my dream kitchen! We had multiple meetings to discuss my ideas and various layouts, the team also brought many samples so we could visualise doors, colours and hardware etc together - I really enjoyed the process. The team worked within our budget and guided us with cost alternatives were needed. Chris's expertise and professionalism brought the design to life and it exceeded our expectations. The job was completed with no additional costs to original quote. The team were extremely tidy and approachable. We would not hesitate to use Pickford & Dyche on other projects.

I approached Chris at Pickford and Dyche to fit a bespoke kitchen in our newly renovated house. I had already worked with Chris on previous projects over the years and have always been amazed by his attention to detail and quality of his work. So much so that many of my friends have also employed Chris for projects over the years under my recommendation and they too have all been delighted with his work. I had a very specific design in mind for our new kitchen and showed Chris pictures of what I was hoping to achieve. Having had quotes from other companies which were way over our budget I was delighted when Chris was able to source and create our dream bespoke kitchen within our budget. He was also able to recommend the electrician and plasterer and project manage with them which made us feel at ease. The finished result exceeded my expectations and the attention to detail is second to none. The quality of the materials and the craftsmanship is amazing. We are delighted with the new kitchen and can not recommend Pickford and Dyche highly enough.

Chris built some alcove cupboards for us. We are really pleased with the whole experience. The work was completed to a really high standard and there was a really clear line of communication in the planning and delivery of the work. We knew exactly what the fees were and when they were payable and when there was an issue with the timetable because of illness Chris kept us updated regularly. Would definitely recommend.

Chris was great from start to finish. We didn't really know the best layout for our kitchen to get maximised space. He advised us so we could get our dream kitchen. There was so much choice, something for everyone. The finish is amazing, it is my favourite room in the house. Chris was professional, done the job in the expected time and can definitely say he is a perfectionist which really does so in his work. Would definitely recommend!

We had shelving and cupboards built in our living room and wardrobes in our bedroom alcoves. Chris was great to work with from the start. Following our enquiry he was very helpful and informative on advising us on style, colours, design etc. and gave us plenty of choice and scope. Communication was excellent and Chris visited us to measure up and share more advice before the work began. The work was completed in a timely manner and there was minimal mess/dust/disruption to the rest of our house as Chris ensured the area he worked in was closed off and he cleaned up very well. We are really pleased with the finished product, the quality of the furniture and craftsmanship shines through. We had lighting fitted in the shelving in our living room and this has made a great feature. Chris was able to fit this and also accommodate everything we wanted to house in the shelves (tv, record player etc.) I would highly recommend!

Chris was outstanding. He made bespoke furniture for us, and his design work was 10-none versus anything else. He listenend to what our priorties were and then went away and came back with options. There wasnt any issue with changes and he in fact encouraged such. He was tidy, professional and a real friendly guy! We employed him on a 2nd prooject for bespoke work to wardrobes and we and now employing him for a 3rd project to completed panelling for a wall with built in TV. Just phenemonal in what he can do!

We used Chris of Pickford & Dyche to create us a breakfast bar and convert a pull-out larder cupboard to a standard cupboard. Chris, as always, was polite, punctual and exceptionally tidy. He did a fantastic job and we will not hesitate to use him again for future projects.

Chris fitted some shelves for me, and delivered exactly what I asked for with minimal instruction from me about what I wanted. He finished the work to schedule and budget and was really easy to communicate with. He left the space he was working in cleaner than it was when he started, and was very helpful throughout the process.

I can't recommend Chris highly enough. His work is of the highest quality and the price is very reasonable with no hidden costs. He has fitted engineered wood floors for me and three alcove wardrobes. These were all completed on time, any delays were entirely due to my indecisiveness! Chris was very helpful and patient about helping me with design of the wardrobes, and I couldn't be happier with how they look.

We contacted Chris to assist with the design and fit out of a new home office in our spare room. He helped us come up with a design and measurements and gave us lots of options in terms of different materials and finishes to fit with our budget. He was professional from start to finish, keeping us updated on timescales in terms of the delivery of materials and when he would be able to come to do the fit out. The installation was quick and he left the room spotless. He came in and got on quietly (as can be with joinery equipment) and we trusted him throughout the process. We're really happy with the quality and the overall finish. It's exactly what we envisaged. We have already asked Chris to quote for some other home storage solutions around our home and wouldn't hesitate to re book.

A very unsightly small kitchen needed to be replaced within a tight budget but I wanted a bit of a wow factor. Chris understood the brief, worked hard to see I was happy with his proposal and quotation then undertook the job. Very tight working area in the hottest week of the summer didn’t phase him. Chris was very meticulous in the build and I was particularly impressed at how he resolved the issue of concealing the gas boiler and pipe work. I also thought the fitting of a splashback to cover old tiles an ingenious and effective solution to transform the kitchen within my budget. Job completed on time, within budget with work to a very high standard. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Chris for fantastic service and he has delivered an outcome I am delighted with.

I have just had two wardrobes and a large storage cupboard installed by Chris of Pickford and Dyche. He was excellent throughout the whole process , giving good advice whilst listening to my requirements. His quote was very reasonable too, and his work is very good,but also kept to appointment times and kept the mess and disruption in my small flat to a minimum . CMA Joinery designed, made and installed fitted wardrobes and shelving for my bedroom in February 2022. The level of skill and service from Chris and his team was excellent, from initial consultation, to the design and fitting processes, to the final result, which was even better than I had envisaged it to be. Chris is an expert but also very personable: he took time to discuss various options, made sure that everything was perfect and cleaned up each day after the work was complete. He was also very accommodating with regard to some access problems to my city-centre flat, including having to rearrange the fitting date at fairly short notice. The whole CMA team was polite and professional throughout. Custom joinery is not cheap but the price was reasonable given the time, materials and skill involved, and less expensive than other companies that I contacted (none of whom wanted to visit in person to give me a quote and relied on photos, unlike Chris who came round to look at the space and discuss my ideas before quoting). I recommend CMA Joinery highly and have already asked Chris for a quote for some further work in the future. Thanks very much to CMA.

We have used Chris a couple of times now for joinery work in our home. This has included fitting new doors/rehanging existing doors/planing and boxing in windows. All the work has been done to an extremely high standard. In addition, Chris is polite and courteous and extremely tidy - making a great job of cleaning up after he's finished. We will definitely use Chris again when we have any more joinery requirements and highly recommend him to do a good, and very well priced job.

CMA has recently finished remodeling our kitchen to include a WC space and installing new kitchen units. All work has been finished to a high standard and with a great eye for detail. As a result of their problem solving and willingness to go beyond the usual solutions we have a unique kitchen, with which we are delighted. CMA stepped in when our original contractor lost capacity when a member of his team left. As a result work has taken longer than we'd hoped, largely down to the busy schedule of each of the traders involved in the project. However the end result has been worth the wait! CMA and the traders he has engaged to get the job done have been friendly and professional, delivering high quality results. Many thanks to all.

Chris built a walk-through wardrobe area between our bedroom and ensuite. He was able to use the full height of the room for maximum storage. We took a while to choose the colour and finalise the layout but there was no pressure from Chris. There were supply issues with the laundry basket we wanted and we didn’t like the substitute but Chris quickly found a different solution which worked better and came back to fit it as soon as it arrived. Really happy with our new wardrobes.

Chris has built 3 alcove bookcases and a garden bench for us. We are really pleased with the quality of the work he has done for us and how clean and tidy he has been throughout the work. Chris has kept us updated throughout and been very reliable. We would definitely use CMA joinery again.

We have been delighted with the work recently undertaken by Chris. He has replaced doors, boxed in windows and rehinged some cupboard doors for us and has done a great job. Chris turned up when arranged, cleaned up after himself and just got on with his work. When he came across a couple of minor issues, he liaised with us to make sure we were happy with his suggested remedy. I’ve become wary about using tradesmen based on reviews as we’ve had some pretty poor experiences, even when the reviews have suggested they were good tradesmen, but we can definitely confirm that Chris deserves all his good reviews and we won’t hesitate to use him again.

Work: Alcove shelving and cupboards to a bespoke design. Understairs storage and doors. Reasonable quotes. Took time to have discussions about all the options, offered good advice, and took time to finalise on a design in keeping with my wishes. Turned up when agreed and good communication throughout. Excellent craftsmanship.

A pleasure to deal with from start to finish, they never had a problem with amending the design, while offering good advice on aspects I should consider. I now have a set of customised shelves for my new home cinema that has surpassed my expectations - quality materials and finished to a high standard (invisible joins, consistent paint coverage, smoothed edges). We used CMA joinery for fitted wardrobes, I wanted a very specific look but used their expertise to finalise the finish within my budget. The end result exceeded my expectations and I found the service from start to finish great.

We had an old skylight replaced with a neighbour and Chris did a great job. We had to wait a bit for good weather which was well communicated and organised. It's was really nice to set up actually, emailed back and forth and everything has just gradually come together. On the day Chris arrived, got to work and kept everything really nice and tidy. Overall a really good job, the work is finished to a good standard and Chris is a great guy to have around the house - friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend.
