Craig undertook work to repair the ridge and both gable end tiles on our house. He came out to view the property and provided guidance on the options available to us. We elected to have dry systems installed, as per his advice. Craig provided a comprehensive estimate within agreed timescales. He then arranged for scaffolding to be erected and advised us of the intended start date for the work (subject to weather). He arrived on the agreed dates and kept us fully informed of progress and estimated completion dates for the work. Throughout the work he: Was polite, friendly and helpful Was professional and extremely knowledgeable Was efficient and managed his time well Answered any questions we had about the work Kept us updated on any issues or additional items required (such as replacement tiles etc.) Was considerate of us and our property (even coming out on a weekend to check the site following a storm) We are very happy with the completed work and have asked him to undertake some additional work. CMH is a genuine craftsman of the old mold. He has just finished the leadwork on two chimneys that we had to have rebuilt and the result is brilliant. He has been a roofer for 35 years and has immense experience. He takes infinite care and his skill is unmatched in this part of the country. Craig Haskins of CMH carried out repairs to the leak in our roof and install a deterrent to seagulls nesting there. He kept us updated on the progress of the work and what was being done during the work. He invoiced us the same amount as was originally agreed and there were no hidden extras. We were very please with the work carried out. He also carried out some repairs adjacent the works not included in the original quote at no extra cost.

Craig undertook leadwork around two chimneys that had needed to be rebuilt. The house is extremely old and the work was not straightforward. However Craig completed it to an extremely high standard. Along the way he carried out unexpected repairs and provided expert advice. He is clearly a highly competent roofer who is sympathetic to older properties. He knows what is the right thing to do and what is not. The chimneys were rebuilt to a very high standard with imperial bricks and his leadwork has matched this work perfectly. Overall the result is a work of art and we have a dry house now. His work necessarily took place in a number of individual projects and on each occasion he left the site immaculately clean and tidy. Thoroughly recommend.

CMH repaired slipped tile from Church roof. They are reliable, responsive and very professional. All work was carried out as quoted and on budget to a high standard and in a timely manner. They communicated well throughout and are very competitive in pricing. Excellent service

CMH has recently removed a crumbling and leaky chimney stack for me. Craig managed to source rare 90-year-old replacement clay tiles to fill the hole left by the chimney. The work was doubly difficult due to the fragile tiles surrounding the chimney and having to work around a solar panel framework. Craig and his assistant were very neat and tidy (and practised very good COVID precautions) and I was amazed how little mortar dust found its way into the loft. The finished job is perfect - you would never know a chimney had ever been there! I would have no hesitation in using CMH again and would fully recommend them.

Our shed roof needed replacing and we chose CMH to carry out the work as he had already done a similar job for us and had done an excellent job at a reasonable price.
