Coates & Holland Electrical Contractors Limited

I used Coates and Holland after seeing the reviews on Which? Trusted Trader. My main need was to replace an old Consumer unit, but I had a few other jobs I needed too, a light socket not working, an outside light not working, a candelabra that needed replacing and kitchen lights needing replacing. The quote came in very quickly (unlike some other companies), was clear and within budget. I was also in the process of getting plans for a new kitchen so I asked Coates and Holland to hold off scheduling until the kitchen plans were finalised and they were happy to do so. Once scheduled, the work was started on time and went without a hitch - one fault in the existing wiring was found and resolved. The work was neatly done, clean and tidy and done within the time allocated. The two electricians who attended, one of whom was an apprentice, were very professional, kept me fully informed of what was happening, minimised the time we were without power and provided help and advice with all the jobs we wanted done. Overall, I was very happy with the job and would not hesitate to use Coates and Holland again.
