Steve designed, costed and carried out the conversion of the loft above the garage into an impressive and fully habitable studio space. During the work he identified and remedied previous inadequate works, and stabilised the entire structure. He consulted fully at all stages of the work, which included reinforcing the floor, installing a turned staircase, installing lighting, power and internet connection, full insulation and heating. His skills as a designer, constructor, and craftsman, combined with problem-solving ability and comprehensive knowledge of building regulations gave us real confidence. Steve has carried out work for us on several occasions over recent years. He has designed and installed two new bathrooms. Our kitchen has been improve. Secondary double glazing has been fitted, and the central heating system refurbished. All this work has been done efficiently, and absolutely in line with his comprehensive and accurate costing. He works quietly, efficiently and tidily. There is little waste. He is also a nice, unobtrusive guy to have around in your house.

Steve had already come highly recommended via friends so my expectations were high, and I was not disappointed. Steve was a very hard worker, all ways on time and always stayed to finish the daily task. His work was very professional, and always neat and tidy. I left it a while before putting my review, just to make sure that there were no snagging issues at a later date, but I'm glad to say that every thing is still perfect. Comer Construction is a company that I would certainly recommend and will be my 1st choice for any future projects that I have.

I approached the Comer team while they were working elsewhere in the neighbourhood and was quickly provided with a quote for a variety of external repair work. This included timber cladding replacement, soffit repairs and painting, an external door replacement and new garden room roof covering . All work was completed on time and within the quoted cost. We are very pleased with the results.

Steve from Comer Construction recently re-modelled our en-suite and we are extremely pleased with the work. From the start he gave us a clear quote, which he stuck to, and issued us with a comprehensive contract. Amongst other things, he moved stud walls, re-routed electrics, installed a new shower & cubicle and re-tiled throughout. All the work was carried out to a very high standard. Steve was professional, polite and conscientious all the way through the job. He listened to what we had to say and made suggestions when we weren't sure about things. At times he added little finishing touches we hadn't even thought of, such as door stops and screw covers. In addition he repaired an external down pipe for us and installed two new garage doors. All to a high standard. We would definitely recommend Steve and use him again.

Steve gave us a detailed quote for removing an internal wall and steel replacement. He communicated clearly about our start date. He and his dad did a fantastic job with limited disruption. They tidied up after their work every day. They arranged all the necessary work with building control. They also have some great follow up advice. We have been really impressed with Steve and hope he is available for future work with us.

We used Comer Construction Services to install our kitchen recently and could not be more pleased with the results. From the moment the work started their friendly attitude and care and attention to detail left us feeling completely at ease. There were no problems presented to us, only solutions, and we really felt the kitchen was being worked on as if it were for their own home. Steve and his dad did work for us on two separate jobs recently. They completely revamped our lounge/diningroom, adding soundproofing, plastering walls and ceiling, put down laminate flooring, rerouted some electrics, and painted. They were polite and courteous from the outset, and for each job they gave us a clear quote covering the scope of work, they were forthcoming with any updates to the scope, and in the end the quality of work was outstanding! We had them back a few weeks later to do the same to our spare room. Would highly recommend these guys!

Having experienced a few nightmare builders in the past, it was a massive contrast to have Comer Construction Services with us. Steve and his colleagues are highly professional, totally honest, polite, cheerful, uninstrusive -- and they take a genuine pride in their work. The finished result (we had an extension done) was beautifully constructed. I would recommend them to anyone. And huge thanks to Steve, too.

We had a double garage conversion completed by Steve. All aspects were undertaken in a professional manor. The job was completed on-time and the price quoted. Very happy with the finished product and the way the guys went about it made it a very easy on us. I would highly recommend

Steve designed and fitted two new bath/ shower rooms in our 16th century house. Steve's help and advice during the specification/design stages was exceptionally good, and the work was done promptly, tidily, on time and on budget. I was contacted by Steve a week or two after the installations were complete to check that all was well. (It was). We are very happy with the work, and extremely pleased with our new bathrooms.

Having stripped out our bathroom some 18 months ago, we struggled to find a suitable fitter that offered a sensible price. We eventually discovered Steve who was happy to work with the bits that we'd already purchased, and supplied everything else we needed. He was always happy to oblige with any minor changes on the way. The job is now finished and is absolutely superb at a very reasonable price. Throughout the job, Steve and Mick were hard-working, always on time, always tidy, and very polite. We will definitely be using them again in the future.
