Complete Kitchens

We have used Complete Kitchens and Bathrooms before when having a new kitchen installed 7 years ago. They were great and we decided to use them again for a new bathroom. We discussed our options with Phil in our old bathroom and then again a couple of times at the showroom in Hither Green. We had decided to have a complete change and make this a shower room. Phil explained all the options clearly and all was agreed quite quickly. The work was carried out by Manus, a really nice guy and meticulous. It was a pleasure having him in the house, which was important given this was quite a long (5 weeks) and complex job; apart from other factors various bits of pipework from the last 90 years under the floorboards needed to be removed. Manus left the area clean every day and gave a special extra clean every Friday. The new bathroom is great and it is a real pleasure having a high quality, effective shower. We have not used the underfloor heating but that is a pleasure to look forward to in an otherwise quite cold bathroom. We very highly recommend Complete Kitchens and Bathrooms both for the extremely high quality of the work and the fact that everyone is a real pleasure to deal with and have in the house.

After a positive first meeting on-site with Phil, I received Com Kit's quote which I accepted. We agreed that the works would commence at a future date which was to be decided. Correspondence with the office manager to arrange this has been difficult to say the least and both my partner and I found her deliberately obstructive on the phone. We believe this is due to the fact that we could not accept the commencement date initially offered which was only one week ahead which would not have left sufficient time to order and receive materials. Emails exchanged to ask about setting a date for commencement of works were not fruitful. Eventually a response came in August (six months after we first accepted the quote) in which the office manager said that they’ll not be able to do the job anymore. Obviously this is very disappointing and, in my opinion, unprofessional. I could have had someone else do the job in the time I spent waiting for a commencement date, but I had such a positive feeling from Phil I was happy to wait for him. To now have the job cancelled after I had accepted the quote is very frustrating.

Complete Kitchens is a local family run firm. I wanted to refit a small kitchen with some refurbishment to an adjoining bathroom. Phil and Tracey were true to their reputation. Of all the firms I contacted, Phil came most quickly to assess the room, he was positive about my preferences and promised to provide what I needed, at a reasonable price. I was in luck because there was an opportunity to start the work early. Once decisions had been made, Neil appeared. He is easy to get on with, accommodating of minor changes, hard working - putting in long hours, expects a high standard of finish and is very skilled in all aspects of his job. We consider ourselves most fortunate to have had his services. I cannot recommend this firm highly enough.

Phill and his team did a great job on my kitchen renovation. It’s a Victorian house so every wall is out of true and every right angle isn’t a right angle! His fitters spent a good week and a half just getting the basic room as square as possible before fitting the kitchen, really made a difference. They were also able to adjust the cabinets to fit and build a bespoke unit and got some bespoke doors to make a cupboard in an old chimney breast look neat. One thing that attracted me was that they use their own fitters, I had good quotes elsewhere but they expected me to deal with the fitters direct, they recommended a couple and they seemed good but it’s hassle I didn’t want and I didn’t want to have to mediate between parties if things went wrong. Great service, not the cheapest but by no means outrageous.

Phil and his excellent team supplied and fitted a new quartz worktop, sink, taps and lighting in our kitchen - and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. The work was carried out promptly and efficiently, the team were punctual, sociable and highly skilled. We literally cannot recommend Complete Kitchens enough. They've revitalised our kitchen at a very competitive price.

Phil and his brilliant duo of highly-skilled craftsmen have completely replaced our entire kitchen. After 40 years of using our old kitchen, we wanted a whole new look, and Phil was able to meet our every requirement, from the initial discussions, through the entire design and delivery stages, right up to full completion. He started on time, delivered on time and budget at every agreed stage, and finished on time, exactly as promised. His craftsmen demonstrated a significant degree of technical skill and competence, while having the ability to think 'out of the box' and work around problems when the occasion demands. All the equipment supplied was of the highest quality, and any small issues that did arise were immediately rectified and replaced, without impacting on the delivery schedule. We could not recommend this team more highly, their workmanship is impeccable, they were utterly trustworthy, and we are delighted with the outcome.

Complete kitchens and bathrooms redid our kitchen and two bathrooms. On budget on time and to a standard and professionalism that was first class. Workmanship was exceptional and the attention to detail was brilliant. We had a few minor problems when the work was completed and they came round and sorted it straight away. They did our kitchen first and given the standard of work I did not hesitate to ask them to do the bathrooms. They manage everything, Phil and his team are brilliant.

Phil and Tracey were great, they helped us select and order the kitchens and worktops providing a very helpful single point of contact. Even though we had our own installers Phil was happy to pop around and check the deliveries and chat with our workmen to make sure everything was understood. We did have follow up questions and he popped around and made sure we were all set. It's really nice having actual people who will come round and sort things in person rather than call centres. We love the kitchen.

This was our second piece of work undertaken at our son's flat in New Cross Gate, having had a new kitchen installed a couple of years ago and being very happy with that project, Complete Kitchens were our first and only choice for upgrading the bathrooms and a bedroom. Again, the work was completed to a high quality and the service was very good, with work being completed on time. Just as importantly, we were kept informed of progress throughout the works and advised in good time of any additional works required. The team are friendly, committed to delivering a quality product and service. If we need to do anything further to this property or any other in the area they serve, we would have no hesitation in using Complete Kitchens.

We have used Complete Kitchens for many years and have always been pleased with the work they have done for us. Recently , as part of a large loft extention project on our home, Complete Kitchen built a complete new bathroom and separate upstairs toilet room. The project was not easy as Complete Kitchens had to pick up the plumbing interfaces from the main contractor for both rooms and even had to carry out some of their work when the main contractor didn't do their part on time. What I really like with complete kitchens is their attention to detail and the thinking through of the whole job to anticipate issues before they occur. An example of this was our bathroom floor was higher one end that the other and had they just leveled to the highest point we would have had a step going into the bathroom door because of the floor height going the wrong why. Complete Kitchen spotted the problem and took the floorboard up and planed the supporting underfloor rafters so that the high area was removed, with the end result we have a level floor and no step. The quality of the work is also another reason we like working with complete Kitchens as they really pay attention to the little details that make a quality job and will often suggest improvements or changes based on their experience. If you are clear on what you want Complete Kitchens will do their bext to deliver it and if there are any issues on the why they will sort them out without quibbling.

After deciding I wanted to have an overhaul of my kitchen I contacted Complete Kitchens and Bathrooms. They had come highly recommended from a friend. I had a great first meeting with Phil and he listened to everything that I had on my “wish list” and also offered additional ideas/solutions eg more efficient use of space. I didn’t have long to wait until a detailed email came through with proposed plans/cost. I was delighted and accepted. Neil was my assigned fitter for the duration and he was absolutely fantastic. Bearing in mind you have someone in your home for a number of weeks it is an important factor. He was always on time, approachable, friendly, highly skilled, nothing was too much trouble and very tidy in his work. Phil would pop by regularly and also other members of his team for the plastering/Worktop/tiling/floor - they too were of high calibre. The end result is everything I had hoped for and more. My old kitchen units were fixed into my garage along with a new worktop for storage – fabulous! Having work done in your house is always a gamble but I cannot rate Complete Kitchens & Bathrooms highly enough.

The team at Complete Kitchens recently fully refurbishment my elderly mothers bathroom, from my initial contact with Tracey right through to completion of our project they delivered. Their advice and guidance meant we made the right choices to ensure it’s safe & practical to use with a clean & modern look. From the outset they spent time understanding my Mums needs and gave an accurate quote reflected in the final costs along with an honest timeline of when they could deliver on the project. After accepting the quote they kept us informed as each stage progressed and aside from a few tweaks and changes that needed to be made there wasn’t any unexpected surprises. It’s a costly process but we needed a company that we could trust to handle everything from start to finish and I can honestly say Phillip and Manus delivered, my Mum is over the moon with her new bathroom and we’d recommend them to others.

If you are reading my review you must be looking for a reputable company to carry out your work. You have found them. I contacted this company before moving in to my new home and had to wait some time for an estimate as they are so busy. I have no hesitation in recommending this company, you may not get a CAD drawing but you will get a very detailed estimate and fully skilled, experienced staff completing the work. Had I realised earlier that they also did kitchens I would have used them for that as well. I cannot express how happy I am with their work and how they set about it with minimum disruption and the professional finish. I can see why they have such good reviews.

Having had our kitchen updated 17 years ago by the company, they were our first choice when we decided to update the bathroom. Very helpful in planning the work, with good suggestions with what would work best. Everyone involved in planning and installation was friendly, but polite and efficient at all times. We were kept informed on progress throughout, and involved in all necessary decisions. The alterations took place during an intense heat wave, but the work did not stop, which impressed us. A small piece of trim was missing from the original package, but Phil and the team went to great effort to chase it up and complete the project, before asking for the final payment. We confidently recommend their work.

This is the fourth project that Complete Kitchens have completed for us. We were more than happy to wait due to Covid restrictions and when the start date finally approached reworked the original budget due to material price increases and shortages. Complete Kitchens delivered to the agreed budget. The quality of the installation was very high with appropriate interaction with us when decisions had to be made. We were "kept in the loop" throughout the project and any issues were quickly dealt with. Complete Kitchens have a small shop that customers can visit by appointment. This was a factor when we used Complete Kitchens for the first time 12 years ago. We have been very pleased with all the projects Complete Kitchens have undertaken for us.

We first used Complete Kitchens and Bathrooms thirty three years ago. We knew the quality of their work and were eager for the company to redesign our kitchen and bathroom. They did not disappoint us. Their highly skilled workforce were efficient and always cleaned up as they worked. Their attention to detail is what makes them special. Whilst listening to our needs they discussed what was possible and practical and we were able to adjust our plans as work progressed. At one point, midway through the bathroom refurbishment, I asked for changes and they immediately responded to my requests and offered a solution to improve the use of space. When one kitchen cupboard door arrived with a flaw it was returned and another ordered. When that arrived and was also flawed, that too was returned and another ordered. The inside of one kitchen cupboard was modified to make greater use of space. We are delighted with our kitchen and new shower room.

We appointed Complete Kitchens to project manage the refurbishment of our kitchen and dining room. The refurbishment involved removing a wall as well as plastering, electrical and plumbing to include relocating all pipework under the flooring to accommodate a new island in the kitchen. Following our initial visit to the Comkit showroom, when we first met Phil Cutler to discuss our ideas. Phil impressed us with his product knowledge. Phil suggested we visit the Crown showroom in Daventry, which has over 20 kitchen layouts to view and inspect. This was a good suggestion as it gave us some great ideas for our kitchen. The project took 6 weeks to complete and Phil kept us informed at every stage and the project finished on time and on budget. We are impressed with the quality of the products and the professional and friendly team of Phil, Manus and Neil. We are extremely pleased with the finished product and would highly recommend Comkit. I am very impressed by the high level of service by Phil and his team; from initial design of my new (completely changed around) bathroom to the choice and quality of the products and the work completed. I love my new bathroom and happily recommend this company to all who ask.

We used complete kitchens to redo our rather dated kitchen. This was a complete job including changing the consumer unit, new lights, new floor, all new units and appliances plus decorating. We updated to an induction hob which required additional power to be delivered to the kitchen. The finished job is fabulous and the crew (mainly Phil, Manus and Neil) were a delight. Phil oversaw the project gave us advice as well as doing quite a bit of the work himself. The whole project was on budget and on schedule. I would have no hesitation in recommending Complete Kitchens to anyone. They also do bathrooms and we intend to use them for our two bathrooms.

We used Complete Kitchens and Bathrooms for a new bathroom, which they completed in July (2021). We are delighted with the outcome and the whole team were great to work with throughout the process - from the initial contact and detailed quote to the final touches at the end. Our bathroom is an unusual shape and we were impressed by the thoroughness and professionalism of Phil when designing the bathroom, to ensure what we wanted was achievable; it provided us with more confidence than other quotes received. Manus who fitted the bathroom was great to work with, his range of skills was very impressive and he was always friendly, polite and tidy, while Tracey in the showroom was also very communicative and great to liaise with. The project was completed on time and budget. We are very happy and pleased to recommend them. We hope to use Complete Kitchens and Bathrooms again next year.

We were looking for a company to refurbish, redesign, and project manages to upgrade a kitchen/living room in an apartment, to maximise the space. All our ideas were considered and some included but ‘Phil’ the designer came up with much better suggestions how we could achieve this. We were able to choose from an extensive range of work units, doors, tops, appliances and finishes. In fact, we ended up having a whole new floor and decorating it, as they really do offer a comprehensive service. We were so impressed with their ‘can do’, helpful attitude, we actually decided to take advantage of this great company and refurbished the downstairs cloakroom, entrance, hall, stairs and landing. The job was completed on time, really quickly, considering how much work they had to do, they are super organised. All the tradesmen were very competent and nice, who were courteous at all times. The job came in at the price quoted, and any changes/add ons we instigated were fairly priced and quoted before proceeding. A special mention goes to Tracey in the office, who is super-efficient and very friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company, they really do know what they are doing, take pride in their work and finish the job leaving you happy and loving your new rooms!

My kitchen was completely stripped out and refitted by Phil Cutler and his team. Their work is excellent as all are very experienced. I found them to be reliable, helpful and tidy. I am very pleased with the result and am happy to recommend them.

Complete kitchens completed redid our kitchen and upgraded our bathroom. We had tried the chains for our kitchen but were more expensive at a much lower quality. Mr Cutler gave us great advice in terms of realistic options and was able to tweak his designs to meet our needs. The heating engineer managed to get our radiators working properly after only 13 years. Neil and Manus followed health and safety procedures and were always punctual, professional and did an amazing job. When we had any issues the team sorted them out promptly. Price was what we expected and good value for the excellent standard of work and appliances.

Mr Phil Cutler is the Brains of Complete Kitchens and Bathrooms, and he is aided in his mission by an elite team of pilots and co-pilots. CK&B are indeed our International Rescue, as we are return, return and return again customers. To date, CK&B have fitted our family bathroom, our en-suite bathroom and two cloakrooms in our home in Petts Wood, Kent. CK&B’s most recent project was to fit new doors onto our existing kitchen cupboards - a challenging mission as our kitchen was over 15 years old. Phil Cutler arrived promptly to carry out disaster zone reconnaissance and, after much considered intelligence-gathering, he carefully drew up his technologically advanced plans. Before we knew it, our old uninspiring kitchen had been transformed into a sleek and stunning work of art by CK&B’s superbly accurate Co-Pilot Neil. Mission accomplished.
