Nick and Tom (his son) upgraded our alarm and security lighting. Nick carried out a very thorough review and sent a clear breakdown of the work to be done and the price. The job was completed very efficiently (including tidying up some messy old wiring) and we're very pleased with the outcome. We've been provided with clear and comprehensive literature, showing what has been done and summarising how to operate the new devices.

Nick and his team did a great job installing a new system as part of a house property refurbishment. A personal service delivered by a family-owned business, for whom it felt like it mattered, unlike the much larger firm that we got fed up with and replaced when we had the chance. I would recommend them for this type of work.

When quoting, Nick gave careful consideration about the best option for us. Then clearly explained his proposal that covered the best security for our situation. He came back speedily with his quote and fitted the whole system less than three weeks later. He fitted a full intruder alarm system comprising infra red detectors, keypad, control panel to the appropriate rooms, and electric external siren. When he turned up he double checked our order with us. Any change in position of an item was discussed with us before going ahead. He and his partner fitted everything in one day as quoted, cleaned up and tidied up to a very high standard. Before leaving they demonstrated how to operate the system with patience, and left a clear instruction sheet. Very happy to recommend him

My insurer insisted that I had an intruder alarm fitted so I found this company through Which? and was pleasantly surprised by how efficient they were and how little disruption or mess was involved. Unfortunately the number of burglaries locally has been rising and the alarm gives me greater peace of mind when I am away or out. In addition it is reassuring to set the alarms in the downstairs of the house when I go to bed and to know they will be triggered if there is an intruder. I equipped the work people and neighbours who have keys with which to turn off the alarm and all has gone smoothly.

Our wireless security system failed at a critical time, and, because it was old, it needed replacing. We approached several security firms of which Connect Security was one. Nick was able to visit at short notice and conducted a thorough security survey. Our house had certain security related aspects which Nick thoughtfully considered. He involved us in planning a proposed solution. Within 24 hours we received and had accepted a quotation for the proposed work. A week later Nick and his son Tom arrived dead on time at 1000AM to start work. While Nick started fitting the system Tom carefully stripped out the old system filling in holes so practically no trace was left of the old system. They both were neat and tidy workers even equipped with their own vacuum cleaner. By 4pm the system was installed, and we had received a comprehensive briefing. We were very impressed with Nick and his Tom’s work ethic and attention to detail and would thoroughly recommend Connect Security to our friends and neighbours.

Prior to going ahead we clarified with Nick any queries we had which were clearly addressed. I have used this company before to install a burglar alarm so I went ahead with installation of a video security system. This is a small company and currently consists of mainly a father and son. I found them by recommendation from neighbours for whom they had also installed an alarm. They are absolutely reliable. They are straight, transparent, and the equipment they recommend is good quality and the result is an excellent system. Absolute recommendation. Good communications. Understandable quote. Installation exactly as agreed. What more could you want?

I can't recommend Connect Security enough! Nick is an extremely knowledgable, courteous and conscientious professional who was very thorough in his approach in delivering a neat & tidy alarm installation. He also provided a timely & comparable quote in writing (PDF by email) beforehand covering everything we had discussed previously and was very communicative, answering my further questions promptly. Nick and Tom arrived early on the day of install and identified poor workmanship from the previous alarm installer and took the extra time to correct it at no extra cost. When it came to additional work not included on the agreed quote, he proposed a number of detailed solutions and patiently gave me time to think it over. From the quick response to our query for cctv to the completed job this company were very professional. Nick spent a long time with us to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted and that we understood what he was able to do. He was willing to listen and incorporate our ideas. Nick replaced and upgraded the alarm in our new house. As with our last house installation, his work was superb - on time, explained the options fully and the installation (including tidying up the last installation’s poor wiring) was extremely neat and done quickly and efficiently.
