We had our conservatory roof insulated by this company and the whole process was exceptional from start to finish. No awkward sales visit, just an honest, informative conversation with Beverly over the phone to get a very competative quote with an installation data confirmed within a few weeks. The two fitters who carried out the installation worked to a really high standard and were finished just after lunch! It’s made a such big difference to our conservatory, I would definitely highly recommend them.

We had this work done one year ago and have waited one year to ensure a fair review across all the seasons. This was hands down the single best home improvement we have had done since buying our house 18 months ago. The insulation works - much warmer in winter, much cooler in summer, and much much quieter during the rain which happens a lot in Manchester. Our conservatory has become a year-round room. We are thrilled with it. We got four different companies to quote for this work before proceeding and Conservatory Roof Insulation Ltd were the only ones that didn't rely on pushy salesmen or irritating gimmicky sales tactics... They were also the cheapest, by a reasonable margin (we were so put off by competitors practices that we would not have proceeded with anyone else regardless of price). We have had excellent aftersales too. We are happy with the build quality - but for full disclosure, one button cover was missed on the installation day (a whole pack of replacement was posted to us next day) and in the summer one of the pvc trims expanded in the heat and Beverly dispatched a workman who came out within days to resolve... Truly top class service - this company cares about quality of the work and we are confident in the 10 year warranty. On the day of install, the workmen ploughed on in freezing cold to get the job done in one day - our conservatory is a massive ~30 square meters and they worked extremely hard, and left everything clean. Fantastic. Fully recommended.

The roof was insulated in October so I have waited for some adverse weather to test the installation. As most of the reviews our conservatory was out of bounds during the winter. Currently it is -1 degree C outside and inside it is 21 degree C. Radiators are on, but last winter they were on but had no effect. The work was completed in a day and was left clean and tidy. From the very first conversation I had with Julian and subsequent conversations with Beverly, I somehow knew I would be using Conservatory Roof Insulation (CRI) to insulate my conservatory roof. No visiting salesperson or consultant, a fixed quote over the phone and no pressure to purchase their product. I read the reviews on Which Trusted Trader and was impressed with the feedback left by previous customers. Julian was fully aware that I had approached other companies for a quote and advised me as to what questions I should ask them about their product. After supplying Julian with measurements and some internal photographs of my existing conservatory roof, I was very pleased with the quote I received from him later in the day. In comparison to two other quotes I had received, CRI was very competitive, one quote being almost twice the cost of using Julian’s company. I decided to use CRI and a date was arranged and a small deposit paid. The two workmen, Chris and Stuart turned up nice and early on the day and didn’t stop until the work was finished. Just had to supply them with lots of mugs of Yorkshire tea and chocolate biscuits. Very polite, clean, tidy, respectful of my property and didn’t mind me asking questions while they worked. Absolutely delighted with the finished product, it makes my conservatory look smart, bright and it is definitely a lot warmer than it used to be. I have no hesitation in recommending Conservatory Roof Insulation to other prospective clients.

Team arrived on time with all materials and equipment. Both worked quickly and efficiently and all work was completed, with room swept and tidied, by lunchtime. The team were polite, helpful and knew exactly what they were doing. Delighted with the finished result and the conservatory not only looks smarter and cosier but feels it as well. It was easy to contact CRI and after making contact, all I needed to do was to provide measurements of the conservatory and photos of its roof. I was then informed of the cost and given a choice of dates. The two workmen arrived at the house on the agreed time and date and began to fit the insulation and plastic ceiling. The work was carried out and completed mid-morning. They were also tidy and made sure that nothing was damaged as they worked. The lighting too was dealt with as part of the contract. If you need to have your conservatory insulated, then I have no hesitation in recommending Conservatory Roof Insulation (CRI). Just to add - the work carried out has a ten years guarantee.

Decision/quote stage: Really easy to obtain a quote and discuss options with Beverly on my request. She totally understood the issues I had with my old conservatory and guided me through the end to end process. Once I decided to have the work done, she provided a convenient day to carry out the work. Install stage: The install team (2 guys) were really efficient, friendly, came on time, discussed what they would do and the benefits (good to hear from people who do this every day) and answered any tricky questions I had 😊. Apart from offering them tea and coffee, they just got on with the job without interrupting me whilst I was working (appreciated). Some workman are constantly asking you questions which sometimes shows lack of planning. Overall outcome: I’ve had a lot of different things done in my houses over time, but this is one which stands out as being flawless and well worth the outlay. My conservatory is open plan to the kitchen, hence cold (no radiators) and noisy (due to rain). However, my temperature gauge in the kitchen and living are now the same, I am no longer feeling drafts or walk into a wall of cold. Plus, the noise has reduced also because I sometimes no longer know if it is raining 😊. I wanted to add photos but no options, but it feels cosy and this choice of solution has been completed to a high standard (with a 10 year guarantee). uPVC-faced conservatory roof insulation was completed this week. The service from beginning to end was excellent, and I particularly liked the ease and speed of getting a quote (which was competitive). The installers turned up on time, were polite and friendly, and great workers, clearly very skilled at their job. They refitted my roof light fixtures during the installation. When finished, they cleared up inside and out. The conservatory looks so much better now, more modern and brighter (I had thought it would be a bit darker when the opaque roof panels were covered over, but it actually seems brighter). We are very happy with the work and organisation, and looking forward to the benefits of the installation, both in summer and winter.

The insulation of the conservatory was scheduled for two days. The fitter worked on his own and completed within the one day. Very efficient and professional job. We hoped that the insulation would be effective. We are extremely pleased as during the recent hot weather the conservatory kept cool and we were able to use the room which prior to the insulation being installed we would not have been able to use the room. We are very optimistic that in the winter we will get the benefits of the insulation. Would recommend this company.

UPVC roof insulation to a very large L shaped conservatory. The work was carried out on agreed dates and budget. We chose this company after reading many reviews and the company being a Which? trusted trader. The staff were very meticulous in the work they did, they were polite and kind to my 92 year old mum. We did have a small problem after completion where the door rubbed on the roof but this was resolved very quickly in less than a week. I am very particular and a bit of a perfectionist and could not fault the workmanship, Overall would highly recommend.

Searched the Internet about having conservatory roof insulation done and decided to have three quotes: two large firms, who visited and CRI Ltd who (Beverley) explained their approach based on customers' own measurements. CRI were by far the best quote (and not pushy), but their Which Trusted Trader status and related online reviews were what convinced us to go with them. An installation date and materials delivery date was agreed and kept. Sam and Nathan did a professional job in less than a day and we are pleased with the result. Glare from the polycarbonate roof has gone and the conservatory, with ventilation, is comfortably warm in hot sun, whereas before it was so hot when sunny, it was impossible to sit in for any length of time. I used this company to have the white panel type insulation in my conservatory. I absolutely love the finished result. The workmen were polite and left no mess at all. We are absolutely delighted with the transformation of our conservatory by Dave and Jeff who were extremely pleasant and very hard working. It now looks like an additional room and during this hot spell is so much cooler. When completed the area was left in a pristine condition with all rubbish removed. The Company were pleasant to deal with and their prices were very reasonable - the fact that they have a Which recommendation is thoroughly justified. Anybody having Dave and Jeff need to stock up on Yorkshire tea though as they almost partake of it intravenously. So glad we were recommended to use your Company.

We decided to use Conservatory Roof Insulation Ltd, and we are glad we did. Concerns about the loss of light are unfounded as it really is negligible what you lose, we have a through lounge into the conservatory with no doors or closure between the conservatory and the lounge and we hardly notice the loss of the little bit of light. The noise reduction: At times we would leave the lounge and go to the bedroom to watch TV as the sound of the rain bouncing off the polycarbonate roof at the time was deafening, believe me up here in Cumbria we get lots of rain! We can stay in the lounge and watch TV without turning up the volume while the rain pours down, the difference is fantastic to what we had before, the noise reduction really is that good. Temperature reduction: Our conservatory is south facing so it got the sun most of the day, temperatures in excess of 33 degrees plus where not uncommon during summer, now its much more comfortable even on a hot sunny day, more around 23 to 25 degrees. 6 weeks since we had the work done, and during that time we have had no black mould to clean off the double-glazing seals or the white UPVC, this was common before the roof insulation, no matter how often you cleaned it. We have had sun, rain, wind, and cold nights, the roof insulation has transformed our conservatory into a different room, one that can be used more in every weather, is warmer and quieter and its reduced our energy use.

This Company has been a delight to deal with from start to finish. Beverley, who answered our initial call, couldn't have been more helpful and Julian, who we spoke to afterwards, answered all our questions and even offered advice about an issue we already had with one of the polycarbonate panels in the conservatory roof. Their quote was extremely competitive and they kept to the agreed schedule and budget which was quickly arranged. Dan and Alfie who arrived very early and left very late, to undertake the work, did an outstanding job and were professional and worked hard and were a delight to have around. We love our new ceiling and it has definitely lessened the rain noises tamping on the polycarbonate roof and made the whole Conservatory much more pleasant in both rain and shine. The day following installation we had a very heavy downpour and the ceiling passed the test with flying colours. First impressions, helpfulness, ongoing communications and aftercare were exemplary. We have a large three by eight conservatory that we were looking to have re-roofed with a conventional roof. Following a number of wildly outrageous quotes and questionable supplier terms and conditions, we decided not to bother. A little time and a little research later we contacted Conservatory Roof Insulation Ltd. The lady who answered the phone could not have been any nicer or more helpful if she tried. Beverly was a pleasure to deal with. Following a call from Julian, the materials turned up a few days before the fitters, who also very friendly, courteous, professional and efficient (and drank lots of tea). From start to finish it took three weeks. We had our conservatory roofed and insulated and at a very good price. It makes a world of difference.
