About
Construct Energy Services Ltd was founded by Matt Biggs in 2022. Matt discovered his own passion for Renewable Energy over 16 years ago and followed his dream of making it his professional vocation.
Matt prides himself on staying ahead of the curve on new technology and government legislation, including support grants to ensure our customers always get what they deserve. We strive to do our part to support the UK to meet net zero obligations, by in turn supporting our customers to reduce their carbon footprint whilst maximising money saving benefits.
We have grown and scaled in line with increasing customer demand, now offering a full suite of Renewable Energy services including Solar Panels, Battery Storage, EV Chargers and Heat Pumps for both Residential and Commercial clients.

From start to finish the whole process has been hassle free. After making contact with the company I received 3 quotes based on satellite images. There was no hard selling. I requested Matt check out the house before making a final decision. I also discussed the option of having panels integrated into roof and received a new quote which I found was not a great deal more. Opting for integrated system I had 15 panels inverter abd battery fitted. From start to finish I was kept informed from skip delivery scaffolding and installation. System now operating and exceeding expectations and providing all my ekectric power, but obviously will generate less in winter months. No hesitation in recommending Construct Energy as Solar installer.

I turned to Construct Energy after receiving scary quotes from a national firm. They were confident they could beat the other quotes and did so by several thousand pounds. This was helped by the fact that the quote included a Chinese made heat pump rather than a German brand but the quotes for the other components were also more reasonable. Even with the addition of an EV charger, the quote was much lower than the previous quotes. Communications were good and, in a matter of weeks we had a working heat pump, hot water and EV charger. Formal completion was unavoidably delayed because the supplier delivered the wrong heat pump on day one and we had to switch from a Clivet to a Midea. We also needed two custom made curved radiatiors which took longer than expected to arrive. Overall, though, I was pleased with Matt and his team's willingness to listen and to be flexible and responsive when any issues arose.

My solar battery EV and heat source pump installation

After an initial visit from Matt, we set out to determine what we could achieve with a solar battery and EV charger installation. We discussed the placement of Tesla Powerwall 3, And also what solar panels were best for me. The work carried out was of the highest standard and the staff were friendly and professional at all times. The installation of the heat source pump was flawless. Any questions or concerns i had were quickly addressed. We were quickly up and running, with both solar battery and EV charger and our heat source pump.

Installation of a Foxess battery and Inverter

Matt came on the day agreed and fitted our Battery, Inverter and new meter for the solar panels which were already in situ. Work completed according to schedule and budget. Matt worked very tidily and kept disruption to a minimum. We chose Construct Energy because they are Which trusted traders. We benefit from using Octopus reduced tariff between 2-5am to charge the meter and it will be very interesting to see how things pan out going forward into the better/sunnier weather. Matt and the office staff have all been very efficient and kept us in the loop. We had an issue with the meter that measures PV kwh, which was promptly dealt with. Hopefully that is now resolved. We have no hesitation in recommending Construct Energy. We had Fox ESS 11.5 kwh battery and Fox ESS 3.68kwh Inverter fitted. Prices were lower than Octopus for the same items. Our solar panels, 2.0kwh were fitted 10years ago and have proved very efficient. Ware on a FITS tariff and make about £450 pa in Fits payments

I recently had a solar and battery install by Construct Energy and the team. From initial conversations I got a good feeling from the company. Kirsty provided me with several quotes tailored to meet my requirements and they found a battery size configuration that gave me a cost saving. I also found the quote highly competitive compared with some of the other quotes I received. The work itself was carried out professionally and efficiently by Matt and his team. Matt even took the time to hide the electrical cable behind my downfall pipe and then buried it in the gravel that runs along the garden path to my garage, making it practically invisible and an extremely neat install. This is the attention to detail that you always hope for! I would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends or use them again for future work myself.

Matt did a great job installing our Hanchu Ess battery and inverter. The installation is neat and we're already seeing benefits in electricity storage. The system in completely managed by an app on your phone and so we initially had programming problem that Matt resolved very quickly after we made him aware. His quote was very competitive compared with other companies . Highly recommended!

Matt did a great job installing our Vaillant Heat Pump. The installation is very neat and we're already seeing a coefficient of performance above 4. We had a minor configuration issue that Matt resolved very quickly after the installation. The quote was also very competitive, and including the government grant, the heat pump probably cost less to install than a replacement gas boiler. Highly recommended!

We recently commissioned Construct Energy to install an air source heat pump. Matt and his team Craig and Jay completed the installation within three days. They are highly professional tradesmen who were courteous and respectful. The job involved removing the old gas boiler and replacing the cylinder. We also upgraded six radiators and the difference in heat output is remarkable. The system is significantly more efficient and cost-effective than the gas boiler. We would not hesitate to recommend Construct Energy for similar installations.

First thing that impressed me was Matt carried out an extensive site survey and gave me detailed explanation of the choices I had available, along with a break down of the prices and time to and for installation. With all the official paperwork in place the install was arranged quickly. The people and equipment arrived on the day agreed for installation and the work was carried out to a very high standard over a 2 day period. Everyone working on the job was professional, helpful and very polite. The installation of the panels, electrics and battery was extremely neat and tidy. Before finishing, a full explanation of the system was given along with the installing of the app to monitor it. Very professional friendly company that know what they doing and I would not hesitate to highly recommend them.
