Avoid this company. They advertise to "guarantee the lowest prices in the UK" and also claim to have a price match policy. I asked them to price match a quote under their "Genuine Price Match" policy and they claimed they had despite their quote being higher. Subsequently, they then made excuses for not pricing matching stating "if we install for that we make a loss simple as that and we do 100 fits per week". Upon following up, they stopped responding to emails. I found their quotes to be considerably higher than other independent traders and recommend that consumers do their research.

Contact Solar charged a good price for the installation of solar panels, battery, and all the wiring, and installed the equipment as and when promised. They cleared up afterwards, and talked me through everything. Pre and post sale service was exemplary - they even phone to check I had no problems. I am absolutely delighted with the work and company, and I recommend them very highly and without reservation.

Excellent. I was a customer of First4Solar. When it went out of business Contact Solar took over its outstanding orders, and offered to do the work for the same price as quoted by F4S. In fact they not only matched the price, they improved the specification; and did it for the outstanding price, minus the deposit. So it was excellent value, and very considerate of them. I'm absolutely delighted with the service, the process and the end result. The only slight downside was that it took quite a long time to get the paperwork for setting up export; but that's all done now (with Octopus) and working well. The company responded quickly to all my queries, both before and after the fitting (and paying). The fitters were brilliant. Not only did they work very efficiently and neatly, but they came up with a much better solution for positioning the batteries and inverter. And the cable routings were also very well thought through; practically invisible in fact. They started at about 0830; they had it all completed and tidied up by 1530. I have no hesitation in strongly recommending this company.

Contact Solar quoted me in early 2021 for my system. I had previously got a quote from another supplier and was put off by the price. Contact solar's quote was less than half that of the other supplier (Over £12k lower!) for exactly the same solar/battery spec. The quotation process was very professional and the installation was very neat and also professional. The thing that amazed me most was they quoted I could expect 4001 kwh per annum. Last year the actual figure was 4243.7 and this year I am currently at 3931.8 with around 50 days left of the year - so well on track to exceed it again. The after sales support has also been first class. I genuinely feel they deserve the full 5 stars!

The experience I have had with Contact Solar has been excellent. My solar kit has been in place now for over a week and I am very happy with the outcome. I feel I have been looked after by a team of professional hard working, decent people delivering an excellent service from start to finish. My initial contact was through Geoff in sales who was informative and patient in fielding a significant number of questions. I was given sufficient time to think it over and never felt pressurised. Communication from everyone I spoke to at their office was excellent throughout. Phone calls are always answered and you always get an email response to any queries. Holly was great in co-ordinating with the scaffolders and helped iron out a couple of unforeseen issues, always being both professional and friendly, as was Carly in guiding me through the handover. The installation itself went just as smoothly. The team (Tim, Charlie, Jay ???) turned up at 7.30am and worked the whole day through non-stop to get the job finished to a high standard. I was kept informed of progress throughout and given clear explanations of the final setup. It was by no means an easy install with 15 optimised PV panels split across 3 separate hip roofs with batteries and much of the equipment and wiring being installed into compact spaces. However, the quality of the workmanship appears to be top notch. Thanks to everyone at Contact Solar - even those whose names I forget!

Contact solar were professional throughout from my first contact until completion. All queries were answered and time was taken to explain technical details. Time keeping was good . Very Pleased with the outcome.

Having been victim of the fallout from First4Solar, I have been super impressed by the quality of service, professionalism and responsiveness of Contact Solar. They took on my works 14 panels and managed the communications, activities and coordination of installation very effectively. They delivered what they promised and were open an transparent, always being responsive to emails and phone calls….. a very very refreshing change and would highly recommend them on service and price. I was initially sceptical about Contact Solar as they were taking the project over from another company that went insolvent. However, once the specifications were defined and confirmed, progress happened quickly. I was really impressed with the professionalism of the installation team and the quality of the installation. Everything worked straightaway. When I contacted the support team to sort out a configuration problem, they responded within 30 minutes and the issue was resolved very quickly. All in all, I am a very happy customer

The work was to install another battery to my solar system. Mark, the engineer was proactive throughout, notifying me of arrival time etc. The work was difficult - a relatively simple job being complicated by - discovered later - a fault on an existing battery unit . Mark stayed the course only leaving at 20:15 in the evening. The company rang me the following morning to tell me that he would be back to finish the job which he did. Both the company, and Mark the engineer were good at communicating, efficient, and able to solve a complex situation very quickly. I had an existing battery replaced under warranty (no waiting to deliver a new one, Mark had one on his van) and a new one fitted and configured. I am very pleased with the service.
