From the first time I called Max, it's been a wonderful experience. I previously was afraid of getting electrical work done based on past experiences, but Max is a total pro & a pleasure to deal with too. I had various electric issues (some urgent) in my flat and Max has sorted it all out for me, perfectly and efficiently. He really cares and takes pride in his work & I am so pleased with the results he achieved (& feel lucky I found him on this website). He has communicated incredibly well throughout the entire process and spent extra time & effort to make sure I understood the situation, all the steps involved in fixing it and explained the work he was doing every step of the way. His quotes were clear and thorough, he was on time, he did everything he could to minimise disruption, he was courteous and always left the area tidy at the end of the day. The result is fantastic. I now feel safe in my home, I have a beautiful new fusebox (with flexibility required for an upcoming refurb) & an electrical supply/system that I now understand for the first time ever. I highly recommend Max and I plan to work with him for as many future projects as I can!

I've had a periodic electrical fault in my kitchen for over 12 months; attended to by numerous contractors ... all with the same result ... a search for another contractor. Max distinguished himself from the get-go. Communication was consistent, professional, and clear ... right through to completion of the work (which was well-priced, efficiently done and no fuss). It was also high quality. He fixed the kitchen fault, replaced the bathroom lights and a couple of other jobs to boot (such as a bathroom extractor fan and RCD replacement). All done to a high standard, of course. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Core Electricals and only wish my experience with other repairs could be as painless.

I needed to replace an old fuse/box/panel. Max was on time for every appointment and always telephoned when on his way. Max and his team did a fantastic job renovating our kitchen. The work included fitting a new floor with underfloor heating, weatherproofing and fixing some complicated electrical issues. Max is extremely professional and conscientious, taking great care to explain the process to us and make sure every detail is perfect. We had complete trust that he would be able to solve any problem that arose. We are very happy with the excellent quality of his work, and we will definitely call Max the next time we have a home project.

Our bathroom fan was fitted and we were very pleased because 5 years before Core had rewired the whole house and had the forsight to lay wiring for a future bathroom fan so no trunking was needed in fitting the fan now. They made a very neat job of it.

I contacted Max to check all the electrics in my flat and replace the consumer unit after extensive water damage caused by a leak from an upstairs flat. Max completed the work on time and to budget. He was flexible in fitting the work around my own availability. I have no complaints about the work and I've had no issues since completion. Max warned me about the possibility of additional work but in the end this wasn't required.

We had a need for an experienced electrician for a number of challenging electrical jobs that proved not to be straightforward. These included a job with one of our lighting circuits, an external power switch and a home internet data point. Max was always courteous and professional in his approach to our needs and schedule and was able to resolve these on budget and on time. Wholly recommended and reassuring.

I originally engaged Max at Core Electronic Engineers to inspect and replace my ageing consumer unit in my flat. I was impressed by his professional demeanour and clear communication, and the care taken with the update and the labelling, documentation etc. I was so pleased with the consumer unit upgrade that I asked Max to quote to re-do my entire bathroom, which was carried out quickly, with the same care and to a high standard. I was consulted at each stage of the process and am pleased with the finished product. Max has also responded to queries since the work finished and returned to assist me in understanding the control unit for the underfloor heating. I would not hesitate to recommend him and his team based on the work they have completed for me.

I dealt with Max from Core Electric and Property services who was extremely professional, competent and completed the electrical upgrade works to a very high standard. My electric fuse box had issues and was extremely old but Max provided detail breakdown of what the issues were and the necessary works to bring it in line with the EICR standards. Although there was a lot of work needed given the problems and age of my fuse box and connections, in less than one day, Max carried out all the necessary upgrades without any issues. I would wholeheartedly recommend Max and Core Electric as the works were not only completed to a high standard, they were extremely professional. The pricing was extremely competitive and the work was completed as initially promised.

Core Electronic Engineers Ltd, was recommended through a reliable source. This company rewired supplied and fitted new RCBO, provided a new installation certificate and notified the local authority. Checked and corrected a previous companies finished and incomplete work to the required standard. Cleaned up after each day's work and remained close to his quote and time frame. Happy to recommend Max.

Max was great from the beginning. He was very responsive to emails in the lead up to carrying out the works. He was considerate with respect to the works, the flat and thought of what else might be needed. Max thoroughly checked all of the wiring before carrying out the test for the EICR certificate. Max put in a new socket and pulled out a wire to install a new ceiling lamp; he did so in a considerate manner, trying to minimise damage to the walls. He was on time and finished the work within the estimated timeframe. I would not hesitate to reach out to Max again. He was also lovely to chat to.

Max was prompt in coming to quote for the work and gave a breakdown of costs against our needs. He undertook the work carefully and considerately and communicated clearly throughout. He was kind enough to chat through a follow up we had on a Saturday to make sure we had all we need and continues to go the extra mile in checking further installations. We will definitely use Max again for any future electrical needs!

Max responded to my request to look at both my kitchen lights, which were flickering, and living room lights too. He diagnosed using the wrong (LED) lamps in halogen settings and replaced the problem ones immediately; we arrange for Max to come back and refit all the lamps once the new bulbs had worn a bit. Max also suggested a new bezel for the kitchen lamps, which was inexpensive and looks really smart. Very helpful, prompt and cost efficient service.

I needed and EICR and looked for a suitably qualified electrician on Which? Trusted Traders. Having read the reviews I identified a small cohort whom I contacted for quotes. Max was very swift to respond and his communication was clear. His quote for an EICR was in the mid-range of those I received, but I was reassured by the number of good reviews he had to his account and his responsiveness, and he was flexible as to when he could attend, and we soon agreed a time for his inspection. On the day, he was punctual and soon got down to work. I found him friendly and professional. Within a day or two of his visit, he emailed me the necessary paperwork including the certificate and a paid invoice for my records. All in all, I was very satisfied, and plan to get Max to quote for some additional work in the near future. My only regret is that I did not ask Max to visit the property first to inspect my consumer unit before agreeing what work should be done, because in hindsight, it might have been more cost-effective to renew the consumer unit rather than pay for an EICR on the existing unit. Something I will probably do in due course. However, this was my error, not Max's, and you live and learn.

All correspondence was prompt and provided all the information required. Max was professional and kept us informed of what was happening at different stages throughout all the work. There was also no pressure once the initial quote had been provided, the work and cost was laid out simply and we were able to chose what we wanted done. Very happy with the finished results and would be more than happy to use this service again.

Max was absolutely fantastic to work with. He was prompt to get in touch with dates and further information and had great communication skills and a friendly and polite manner. He was punctual to arrive and got our work done quickly and efficiently. He was very helpful and informative in explaining what he was doing and his recommendations and the paperwork was sent to us very promptly. His rates were also upfront and fair. I would absolutely recommend him to others and he'll be the first person I would contact for electrician services should I need them again in the future.

Max replaced a fuse box for me and he carried out the work to the agreed schedule and budget. He is a thoroughly nice man who has a passion for his work and really knows his subject. He is reliable, efficient, conscientious and very good at explaining any issues or options in an understandable way. No-one will do a better job than him. He may not be the cheapest but he adheres to the highest safety standards and you will have no issues whatsoever with his work. When he makes an appointment, he turns up on time, is extremely pleasant, does the job properly and cleans up afterwards. What more could you want!

Max came to do our EICR certificate - his quote was mid range but what i especially appreciated was his fast responses to all communications and he was able to find solutions which were cost effective . Wouldn’t hesitate to use him again

We have been working with the team at Core for almost 5 years now, this in itself is testament to the great work this company provides. We own 2 busy coffee shops in central London and Max and his team have done a lot of work for us over the years. This most recent job, that included a full installation of electrics for a new bar, complete inspection of the wiring in our new 4 storey building, and changing the light fittings throughout was expertly completed. Highly recommend this company!

I contacted Max at Core Electronic Engineers, as their details said that one of their specialisms is fault-finding. I had spent money on ad hoc electricians who had not solved the issue I had which is that switching on and off a new oven installed by others last year tripped my RCD and put the electricity off throughout the flat. Max carried out an inspection and advised to upgrade from my 2004 set-up to a new 14 ways RCBO 18 edition consumer unit and test circuits etc. He provides first a Quote and then, if accepted, a PDF Agreement. Like the paperwork, Max is thorough and professional. He is also pleasant with a helpful manner. The work was scheduled and carried out very professionally. I recommend Max!

We didn't have any functioning sockets in bedroom nor living room and because of damp proofing had to rewire both rooms completely with trunk wiring. In addition the fuse board needed to be upgraded and certified. Max provided a great, quick service. It was great to have an initial consultation first and Max explained in detail what would be the best way to tackle the job. The job was done in a very neat way and Max would explain with every step what he was doing. He also fixed other minor things that were not part of invoice but he did anyway with no extra charge. Would highly recommend and will call on for any future job.

We used Max and Core Electricals to fit a new socket and lay a new floor. Both jobs were tricky due to poor previous workmanship. Max took us through everything step by step and offered us all the different options with clear explanations so we could make our choice.
