Cotswold Heating Solutions Ltd. provided and installed a Sunamp Thermino 300e to give us an electric alternative for hot water supply, allowing us to remove our gas boiler. Cotswold Heating Solutions were very good throughout my dealings with them from first call and discussion of the solution I was looking for, to organising specialist delivery (it's heavy!) and the trades needed to complete the installation. The solution is working a treat.

Cotswold Heating installed Elkatherm Radiators, and a Sunamp Water Heater. This was to replace an ageing gas central heating system. They allowed two days for the installation, and it was completed in one. Five 'installers' arrived first thing, and the job was done by 'close of play'. All trades (plumbers, electricians, etc.) worked well together, and with good humour - and no blaring radio! All waste materials were removed from site and our house left in good order - just the decorating to do! We are particularly pleased with the Sunamp. This works in conjunction with our solar panels, and it makes a change to have hot water on tap - our combi boiler took an age to deliver, with considerable waste of water. From initial consultation to installation, we have been really pleased with Cotswold heating and the products they supply. We are happy customers and would whole heartedly recommend them.

Cotswold Heating Solutions were excellent from start to finish. They were very willing to give their time and advice and kept me informed throughout the process, providing realistic delivery times. On installation day, the team arrived exactly on time and removed two old storage heaters, replacing them with two new Elkatherm radiators. I felt very confident with the installation and the radiators are very effective in heating what was previously a very cold room.

A fantastic service provided from the initial consultation to the installation. We were kept fully updated with regard to delivery and notified promptly of any delay regarding delivery due to the product being manufactured outside of the UK. Elkatherm radiators installed throughout the whole of the house bringing the heating system up-to-date. The fitting crew were prompt, courteous and a pleasure to have in our home. Everything was set up for us and a full demonstration provided as well as the info pack and how to seek help if required. The fitting crew even hoovered and tidied up all areas where they had been working. An excellent service from start to finish.

A very professional company who take pride in their work and which is to a very good standard. Engineers arrived on time on the due date and cleaned up after their work was completed taking away the old electric radiators. We asked for 2 minor changes to the original work scope which the company were flexible enough to carry out. I would certainly recommend Cotswold Heating Services. I had 3 Elkatherm radiators installed to replace old storage heaters. Simon visited initially to check the property, gave comprehensive advice and options, and provided the quote. The heating engineers, Ricky and Charlie, were a great team. They were careful about checking everything before they started the work. They installed and checked everything, and they left the place tidy. The set up of the app to control the radiators was straightforward too. I'll see how the heating is longer term when I've moved in completely but so far so good. It's a transformation! And not forgetting Jo in the office, always quick to respond, it was a pleasure to work with this family business. Thank you!

The work was split into two phases. 1st was strip out (gas CH, radiators, visible pipework), installation of sunamp (hot water) plus a requested variation to replace the WHB taps to the bathroom with better quality taps that I'd acquired. This occurred 5 November 2021. The 2nd phase occurred on 19 November 2021 (requested 1-2 weeks between visits, enabling some re-decoration, particularly to bathroom). During the second, we had three elkatherm heater/radiators installed, plus heated towel rail and a further requested variation - a new extractor fan. A truly excellent team of three (M, R and C), highly competent, friendly, tidy and trustworthy, were involved in the installations (including fitting interior and exterior ventilation grilles where the gas flue went through the masonry walls). We LOVE the sunamp and the elkatherm (bespoke colour) radiators. My views are that the sunamp provides water at better pressure to the shower/bath and at more immediate, consistent temperature. The heaters are versatile in the degree of control (4 mode settings) and a surprise for me was the integrated control display (no separate thermostats on walls). Gas CH cannot continue (my view) if we are to meet our environmental targets and we are glad that we have done this NOW. CHS are, in my view, well ahead of the 'field', were more competitive than the competition we invited to price, and I'd have no hesitation in recommending them to others considering making a similar eco-friendly move.

When we first bought our apartment the only heating was night storage running on eco 7. We knew very early on that this will not do and it g=had to be replaced with a more modern, convenient and maybe even a lower running cost. The problem for us that due to the property being Grade 11 listed Gas would be very difficult to install so electric had to be the way. I looked at various options and quotations and arriving at Cotswold Heating Solutions ticked all the boxes. We had a very good and clean installation with an Elkatherm system that worked a treat. But I made a mistake... I failed to have a radiator in our spare room which I use either as a study and a second bedroom. Over a year later I called Simon, the MD and requested this to be done. Maybe a week or two later and it was fitted - perfect. It was fitted superbly well, no panic and now our apartment is so ready for winter. Fitting these radiators may not be the cheapest solution but for us its about our comfort and thats where CHS come into their own. The programing took me a while to get my head around but now we're there. And to use an old expression 'we should have done it ages ago' - with Cotswold Heating Solutions. If this reads like a solid piece of promotional advertising copy, then its only because the service and the product deserves it. Brilliant, cant say better than that.

Cotswold Heating Solutions had been recommended to me by an experienced sustainability consultant and colleague, who provides an advisory service to Parochial Church Councils in the Diocese of Gloucester. My own domestic scheme involved C.H.S. advising on the product, the sizing and installation of three Elkatherm rads. in a reasonably large house extension. The whole process, including deferring the installation for the build to catch up with the wiring second fixings, was handled with care and attention to detail; with a very efficient installation team that happened to be led by a member of the C.H.S. family business. It has been good to support a local business, and we wish it well for the future.

I was directed to Cotswold Heating Solutions by another company in the Elkatherm group who suddenly realised they didn't actually cover my area. My enquiry was dealt with very efficiently, including an apology for the situation, which was not their fault. The radiators were installed in the estimated half a day and I was shown how to operate them. It's still early days but initial calculations seem to indicate that costs will be comparable with the previous gas central heating, and the property is at the temperature I need.

Needed to replace 2 old night storage heaters and had several companies out to quote. Simon (the managing director) was very friendly, knowledgeable and informative during the survey. I felt very assured that the Elkatherm radiators were the perfect choice for me. One of the things I love about them is their A++ energy performance rating. Think very carefully before using this company. No consideration was given to the lack of sockets by the salesman. This necessitated additional costs to provide spurs to radiators. After having paid £10k and losing programming during a recent power cut, I am now told it is not their problem. The call out to reprogram will be £80 plus VAT - shameful.

I am so pleased with both my new heating system and the friendly professional assistance from Simon and all the staff I engaged with from my first phone call until the installation of my 4 Elkatherm radiators. I was seeking to remove my ancient storage heaters and couldn't be happier with my choice. The old radiators were removed and the new ones installed in optimal new locations in my flat. The work was done just as Simon described it would be and at the costs he quoted on his initial visit to my home. The 2 men, Ricky and Charlie, that installed the radiators were friendly, respectful, engaging and exceptionally tidy throughout both the removal and installation process. They arrived at the time they said they would that morning and had the job completed by early afternoon. They were also very patient in their teaching session for using the system once the job was completed. I could not be happier with Simon and his team, as well as the product they have installed. I engaged this company to install an electric heating and hot water system in my Victorian terraced house. The managing director, who is a qualified electrician, came to carry out a survey. He did not look to see if the existing electrical system was suitable to support the new installation. It wasn’t. An hour after the installation team left I had no electricity on the ground floor. They came later to provide a temporary remedy. The MD, Simon Rhys-Davies states “your electrical installation and associated condition is not our responsibility “. I would agree. However, I would suggest that the installation of a new system should not be sold to a customer without checking that the existing electrics can support the new installation safely.

With great pleasure I fully endorse the previous reviews of the excellent service provided by Simon Rhys-Davies and his team at Cotswold Heating Solutions. From my initial enquiry until the installation of my two radiators I received advice, reassurance and immediate responses to my emails. The two splendid electricians proceeded in a most workmanlike manner. All this was not easy for the team as I am deaf but communication was facilitated by everyone writing down answers and comments. There was a further complication as I live in a retirement flat and I had to submit details about Cotswold Heating to the management company before getting permission to proceed. I thoroughly recommend Cotswold Heating for a first-class service.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Very helpful in every way, always fast to respond to phone calls and e-mails a family run business that take pride in there work. 6 radiators a bathroom towel rail and sunamp water heater fitted in just a day by a team of three,clean tidy work as well. There was a small problem that was total out off there hands but it was dealt with so well and an offer of free replacement and free fitting was given with no fuss. After a survey and quote provided by Cotswold Heating, they were engaged to decommission and remove a gas central heating and water heating system to be replaced by Elkatherm storage radiators and Sunamp water heater. It also included the replacement of a bathroom shower. All information provided was comprehensive and accurate and any queries or questions that arose during the contract were speedily dealt with. They take pride in their work - nothing was too much trouble and everything was kept clean and tidy through to the final clearance. We had two electric radiators fitted by Cotswold Heating Solutions. It was a very quick response to our initial enquiry with a survey visit scheduled within the week. Simon arrived exactly as agreed and is very friendly and helpful, we particularly liked the fact that he gave great advice but at no point tried to sell us more than we were looking for (unlike some other companies). Installation was quicker than expected (bonus) and we were kept informed as to arrival time with Finn and the boys turning up exactly as promised. Very friendly, professional, cleaned up as they went and took time to make sure we understood the operation of the new heaters. Absolutely thrilled with Cotswold Heating who supplied Elkatherm radiators. Brilliant range of colours to choose from and I am delighted with the light grey finish. The three-man team who fitted my radiators all have close family connections with the company and they genuinely seem to enjoy their work. The radiators are amazing and offer me flexibility as well as style. The app is fantastic, so easy to operate and gives me the option to switch the system on even when I am not at home! Our 200 year old cottage which had a solid fuel heating and hot water system featuring a Rayburn cooker needed an update. We already had solar panels fitted by a LOCAL company and wanted a LOCAL company to replace the heating and hot water system. We had researched the options and decided on electric radiators with a hot water supply preferably linked to the solar panel output. When Simon called to talk us through the options, the decision to proceed with his recommendations was easy. His explanations were straightforward and clear. The team were with us for three days because of the complicated layout of the existing system. They worked efficiently and were a very friendly team who were able to answer any other questions that we had. The SUNAMP water heater is brilliant because it tops up the heat when the sun shines!! Fantastic system taking full advantage of modern technology and very easily controlled. Our first morning with the ELKATHERM radiators was rather warm because of our initial settings but this was easily changed using the HEATAPP and we are now looking forward to a cold spell when it will come into its own. From initial enquiry to installation, Cotswold Heating Solutions have been a great example of what good businesses do. Friendly, no hard sell, knowledgeable, keeping me informed of progress and 'no such thing as a daft question' approach. Installation went so smoothly, an easy to understand run through of operating the system and no mess left at all. Product wise, a little early to tell as rads not needed ATM, but look great and hot water's much quicker than the previous GCH. A 'ptoper' family business based on good service.
