From start to finish Cotswold Heating Solutions were brilliant. They surveyed our house and installed our radiators so quickly and were professional and polite throughout. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them if you need a heating solution!

Cotswold Heating Solutions had been recommended to me by an experienced sustainability consultant and colleague, who provides an advisory service to Parochial Church Councils in the Diocese of Gloucester. My own domestic scheme involved C.H.S. advising on the product, the sizing and installation of three Elkatherm rads. in a reasonably large house extension. The whole process, including deferring the installation for the build to catch up with the wiring second fixings, was handled with care and attention to detail; with a very efficient installation team that happened to be led by a member of the C.H.S. family business. It has been good to support a local business, and we wish it well for the future.

I was directed to Cotswold Heating Solutions by another company in the Elkatherm group who suddenly realised they didn't actually cover my area. My enquiry was dealt with very efficiently, including an apology for the situation, which was not their fault. The radiators were installed in the estimated half a day and I was shown how to operate them. It's still early days but initial calculations seem to indicate that costs will be comparable with the previous gas central heating, and the property is at the temperature I need.

Needed to replace 2 old night storage heaters and had several companies out to quote. Simon (the managing director) was very friendly, knowledgeable and informative during the survey. I felt very assured that the Elkatherm radiators were the perfect choice for me. One of the things I love about them is their A++ energy performance rating. Having used the radiators I can only say how impressed I am with ease of operation and their great looks. I won't hesitate to recommend this wonderful family company to all my friends and family!

Think very carefully before using this company. No consideration was given to the lack of sockets by the salesman. This necessitated additional costs to provide spurs to radiators. After having paid £10k and losing programming during a recent power cut, I am now told it is not their problem. The call out to reprogram will be £80 plus VAT - shameful.

I am so pleased with both my new heating system and the friendly professional assistance from Simon and all the staff I engaged with from my first phone call until the installation of my 4 Elkatherm radiators. I was seeking to remove my ancient storage heaters and couldn't be happier with my choice. The old radiators were removed and the new ones installed in optimal new locations in my flat. The work was done just as Simon described it would be and at the costs he quoted on his initial visit to my home. The 2 men, Ricky and Charlie, that installed the radiators were friendly, respectful, engaging and exceptionally tidy throughout both the removal and installation process. They arrived at the time they said they would that morning and had the job completed by early afternoon. They were also very patient in their teaching session for using the system once the job was completed. I could not be happier with Simon and his team, as well as the product they have installed. I engaged this company to install an electric heating and hot water system in my Victorian terraced house. The managing director, who is a qualified electrician, came to carry out a survey. He did not look to see if the existing electrical system was suitable to support the new installation. It wasn’t. An hour after the installation team left I had no electricity on the ground floor. They came later to provide a temporary remedy. The MD, Simon Rhys-Davies states “your electrical installation and associated condition is not our responsibility “. I would agree. However, I would suggest that the installation of a new system should not be sold to a customer without checking that the existing electrics can support the new installation safely.

With great pleasure I fully endorse the previous reviews of the excellent service provided by Simon Rhys-Davies and his team at Cotswold Heating Solutions. From my initial enquiry until the installation of my two radiators I received advice, reassurance and immediate responses to my emails. The two splendid electricians proceeded in a most workmanlike manner. All this was not easy for the team as I am deaf but communication was facilitated by everyone writing down answers and comments. There was a further complication as I live in a retirement flat and I had to submit details about Cotswold Heating to the management company before getting permission to proceed. Fantastic service from start to finish. Very helpful in every way, always fast to respond to phone calls and e-mails a family run business that take pride in there work. 6 radiators a bathroom towel rail and sunamp water heater fitted in just a day by a team of three,clean tidy work as well. There was a small problem that was total out off there hands but it was dealt with so well and an offer of free replacement and free fitting was given with no fuss. After a survey and quote provided by Cotswold Heating, they were engaged to decommission and remove a gas central heating and water heating system to be replaced by Elkatherm storage radiators and Sunamp water heater. It also included the replacement of a bathroom shower. All information provided was comprehensive and accurate and any queries or questions that arose during the contract were speedily dealt with. They take pride in their work - nothing was too much trouble and everything was kept clean and tidy through to the final clearance. Professional work, friendly communication and service with a smile from the initial contact to completion. If arranging for work to be carried out in the house can be a pleasure, then this was it! We had two electric radiators fitted by Cotswold Heating Solutions. It was a very quick response to our initial enquiry with a survey visit scheduled within the week. Simon arrived exactly as agreed and is very friendly and helpful, we particularly liked the fact that he gave great advice but at no point tried to sell us more than we were looking for (unlike some other companies). Installation was quicker than expected (bonus) and we were kept informed as to arrival time with Finn and the boys turning up exactly as promised. Very friendly, professional, cleaned up as they went and took time to make sure we understood the operation of the new heaters. Absolutely thrilled with Cotswold Heating who supplied Elkatherm radiators. Brilliant range of colours to choose from and I am delighted with the light grey finish. The three-man team who fitted my radiators all have close family connections with the company and they genuinely seem to enjoy their work. The radiators are amazing and offer me flexibility as well as style. The app is fantastic, so easy to operate and gives me the option to switch the system on even when I am not at home! Our 200 year old cottage which had a solid fuel heating and hot water system featuring a Rayburn cooker needed an update. We already had solar panels fitted by a LOCAL company and wanted a LOCAL company to replace the heating and hot water system. We had researched the options and decided on electric radiators with a hot water supply preferably linked to the solar panel output. When Simon called to talk us through the options, the decision to proceed with his recommendations was easy. His explanations were straightforward and clear. The team were with us for three days because of the complicated layout of the existing system. They worked efficiently and were a very friendly team who were able to answer any other questions that we had. The SUNAMP water heater is brilliant because it tops up the heat when the sun shines!! Fantastic system taking full advantage of modern technology and very easily controlled. Our first morning with the ELKATHERM radiators was rather warm because of our initial settings but this was easily changed using the HEATAPP and we are now looking forward to a cold spell when it will come into its own. From initial enquiry to installation, Cotswold Heating Solutions have been a great example of what good businesses do. Friendly, no hard sell, knowledgeable, keeping me informed of progress and 'no such thing as a daft question' approach. Installation went so smoothly, an easy to understand run through of operating the system and no mess left at all. Product wise, a little early to tell as rads not needed ATM, but look great and hot water's much quicker than the previous GCH. A 'ptoper' family business based on good service.

We first contact Simon to discuss replacing our ageing gas central heating. After he had pointed out all the pro’s and con’s, we finally agreed to have installed Elkatherm radiators and an unvented Joules cylinder for hot water. The fitting team took pride in all aspects of their work and left our home clean and tidy. From first contact to final completion we had an excellent service. We contacted Cotswold Heating Solutions to advise us on replacing our oil-fired system with Elkatherm electric radiators. From the first meeting, we were impressed by the expertise of the company, as well as the product. This is a real family business. Not only does Simon, the head of the firm, come to do the survey himself, but he is a qualified electrician, so he can really explain the product and what he is looking at in the house. This was not the case with any of the other three companies we consulted. He was totally honest, advising us to check with our electricity distributor to see whether our supply was sufficient for the proposed system. As a result of this, we decided not to go ahead, but this had nothing whatever to do with the quality of the company. Indeed, it was Simon's advice that led us to this decision! There was absolutely no hard sell. We would thoroughly recommend this company to anyone considering a similar conversion.

Employed Cotswold Heating Solutions to install new Elkatherm heating system in our holiday flat in Pembrokeshire. Cotswold's team set out at the crack of dawn to reach us and worked solidly to install the system in one day. They were well organised, courteous and accommodating throughout the day even giving us time to paint behind the old radiators before hanging the new ones. The system is neat and efficient and easily programmed. Only slightly annoying factor was that the app cannot be downloaded to iOS. Communication has been excellent throughout.

We decided to move away from oil and explored air source heat pumps but that proved unworkable in an old Cotswold cottage with micro bore pipes. We invited Simon to suggest a future proof and green alternative to our old system and the solution he suggested seemed right for us. We liked the extra space that smaller radiators and the removal of an oil boiler would create, the ease of control of the new system via an App. and the negligible future maintenance needed. The installation team were excellent and the whole experience was first class, on time and on budget.

We wanted to replace a whole house old and creaky oil-fired heating system, knowing this would need at least 10 new heaters, so a pretty serious decision. We found Cotswold Heating Solutions, and Simon came along and made no hard sell, just an honest evaluation. We were attracted by a more reasonably priced proposal than the opposition, with very similar technology and perhaps superior controllability, a great guarantee on the heaters (I don't think British manufacturing can provide this yet, sadly), plus the amazing ability to specify a deep green radiator to match a permanently richly coloured room. We have been through two types of heat pumps in previous houses, but our current property doesn't lend itself to that, and as we can now buy fully renewably powered electricity, we don't really need to. The future can be electric, plus it takes less room. When they came, not only did Finn and Ben strip out the old, oil-fired system, boiler and all, but they worked neatly to remove as much pipework as possible and place the new heaters in more convenient places. Result; not only do we have a clean, quiet, heating system from renewable energy, we have a complete new cupboard and two rooms which have a precious 4" more useable space. Ben and Finn worked neatly, consulting us whenever necessary, but getting on with it, and Finn is still on the phone to help with programming tips. Very pleased, we would definitely recommend the firm.

We needed to change our, antiquated, heating system to a modern, greener solution. We did our research and asked Cotswold solutions for help. This is a family business and Simon came out to see us in July 2020. He fully explained the workings of the Elkatherm radiators and also the Sunamp, which is an electrical water heater (doing away with water cylinder) and having instant hot water. We were very impressed and went ahead with, radiators and the Sunamp. These were delivered in October 2020, the heating was installed in one day, with no trouble and each stage was fully explained to us. Our house was left immaculate by the guys. They also explained how to use the heaters to get the greener and economic benefits of the system. Due to no fault of theirs, the Sunamp delivered, was the incorrect one, but after a phone call from Simon, the correct one was delivered at the end of the day and was installed the following day. Having used this product for over a month, we could not be happier with the product and service. Having recently moved into an old house in the countryside with just an oil fire and some panel heaters for heating we urgently needed a new solution. We're not on mains gas and the property isn't suitable for ground source or air source heating and we didn't fancy paying £25K to install an LPG system which feels like very old technology. This led us to look at electric systems that could be installed quickly with the minimum of disturbance to the property and we found Cotswold on-line. Simon came out to demo the Elkatherm system and advise us and was very professional with no sales pressure. The system looked great and the choice of colours, sizes etc. for the radiators was exactly what we were looking for. They're quite expensive for what they are but we were reassured by the 25-year warranty, simple install and promised low running costs so went for an initial 7 radiator install with another 5 to follow once we've completed the renovation work. COVID then got in the way so we had to wait a few extra weeks for the install but it was worth the wait. Simon's boys installed the whole system in under a day and were extremely tidy & quick. They left the property in a better state than they found it which is what we tell our own engineers to do. The rads are fitted perfectly and look great and they gave us comprehensive training on the system although it's a doddle anyway. We were very happy with the quality of the work and the engineers are a credit to Cotswold.

We had a large kitchen refurbishment and garden room extension nearly 4 years ago which included electric underfloor heating. however, during really cold days in the winter, we don't feel that the underfloor heating is warm enough. We did some research and arranged for Simon, from Cotswold Heating Solutions to visit us in February 2020 and recommend a solution for us. He arrived promptly and after surveying and listening to our concerns, he recommended for us to have two Elkatherm German electric radiators. He was very knowledgeable about his products and very personable too, I was impressed with his eye for detail, such as ensuring the fused connection units were in brushed steel to match our existing sockets. Although we placed our order in February this year, due to the Pandemic, there was some delays in receiving the radiators from Germany however, Simon kept us updated and we received an installation date for the 4th August. Ryan and Finn, from Cotswold Heating Solutions, arrived once again, on time and began the installation of our 2 radiators, they were extremely professional and carried out their work with a minimum of disruption to ourselves. after completing the installation they made sure we fully understood the technology and all the operating instructions.
