Liam installed two outdoor extension sockets and an immersion heater timer switch for us. His thorough professionalism was very reassuring that each part of the job was being done properly. Cowley Electrical Contractors were able to provide certification that the work was completed to specification , which again is a confidence booster. All in all, a job well done.

A polite and efficient young man came. He was thoughtful and just worked his way around all the jobs. We were having a new consumer unit and updating most of our lights and plug points, install new plug point etc.

The original consultation was clear and precise. The installation of LED lighting in kitchen, dining room and bathroom was carried out very efficiently. The electrician was excellent , very helpful and explained everything in an understandable way. Some anomalies in the old wiring were discovered and were dealt with quickly and explained to me clearly. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company and their work,and in fact I have ordered further work to be done.

We first used Cowley Electrical earlier this year for a small repair job. We were extremely happy with their work so we booked them again for some more substantial modifications. Just as before, they were on time, professional, conscientious, and did a wonderful job. Everyone who saw it marvelled at how neat it was! I was very pleased with the work from Cowley - did exactly what it said on the tin! Very efficient process getting a site visit, quotation and booking the work. Electrician turned up as promised and go on with the work to very high standard. Cowley Electrical responded to my initial query very quickly and arranged a convenient appointment with no fuss. The electrician arrived on time, diagnosed the fault, repaired it, and cleaned up afterwards. I couldn't ask for better service: I wish all tradespeople were this conscientious! We found Cowley Electrical Contractors Ltd in our local community magazine, having struggled to find an electrician who would attend to carry out a small job. Advertising that they dealt with small jobs, we called and made an appointment. The electrician arrived at the agreed time (apologies - his name slips my mind!), and we were even sent tracking details in advance to confirm his arrival. Having confirmed the work required (to make safe a disconnected heated towel rail), he quickly and efficiently completed this, before offering to exchange our requested blank faceplate, for a wired socket that I could use going forward. The work was completed quickly, professionally, and without any tidying up being required at the end of it. I would definitely recommend Cowley Electrical Contractors Ltd. and I will certainly use them again in the future.

We had some lights fixed. Good job. They recommended we should have an EICR completed. This was completed in December and we have a very comprehensive report which we will act upon. All work was completed in a clean and tidy fashion and everything was extremely well explained.

I needed to replace a malfunctioning sensor-controlled external light and also replace a manually switched external light. Had a home electric inspection, followed by necessary work to bring it up to current regulations. Sockets, wiring, new light fittings and fuse box etc. Work was completed to a very high standard. I contacted Cowley Electrical at the end of May in regard to domestic lighting installation/rectifcation work and was contacted promptly by via email saying one of their electricians could attend on 4th June. Liam came out on that day, and was quickly and accurately able to assess the. work involved. I then received a quote from Neil Cowley, detailing the work necessary and price. This was a very reasonable quotation, as 3 separate tasks were entailed. On agreeing the quote, I was promptly contacted via email to inform me that they would be with me on 10 June. The initial EICR uncovered several unsatisfactory conditions which were thankfully remedied over the 3 days Liam spent correcting and upgrading my electrics. What an absolute gem he was. Courteous, Very hard working and fastidiously tidy. Could not have asked for more. To put my comments in perspective I ran a service company for 30 years with the same ethos as Cowley Electrical and so I know how difficult it is to maintain such a high level of customer satisfaction. Cowley performed a site survey recommending important improvements. They quoted for and were awarded the works. They were very good at planning on the work schedule and flexible with payment terms before and after. Their engineer was punctual, polite and professional throughout 4 days on site. They added value above the scope of work too when they were able to respond to existing and new situations on site as they occurred. Most importantly they didn’t have to wait for things to go wrong or respond to quality snags or complaints because they were so competent in electrical work and had a planning/preventative risk mindset. This made the whole experience in our home safe and with hardly any disruption which was excellent. We’ve used Neil Crowley several times during 2023 and always been delighted with the outcome. On the latest occasion Neil himself did the work replacing an extractor fan in the bathroom with the minimum amount of fuss. Whatever the work involved they are always prompt and very tidy - no dirty footprints or excessive clearing up after. They seem competitively priced and I always recommend to my friends and family.

With flood water an inch from the front door and no electricity supply, my daughter and young grandchildren arriving in a few hours, I was delighted to see Cowley Electrics who isolated the electricity fault and re-connected our supply. We were able to use our pump and had a warm house for our guests. Prompt, personable service on a day when flooding was causing havoc everywhere.

The task included a one day inspection followed by a further four days of work. Liam the electrician was prompt, informative, thorough and efficient. Each day he cleaned and tidied up putting any furniture that he had moved, back in place, before he left. Although Liam had to work in every room he was not intrusive. He was easy to talk to, polite, understanding and kind. Liam is a highly professional electrician who works to a very high standard.
