Craig came to fix my mum's roof when her extension roof blew off. He was there to fix it promptly, making it water tight and then fitting a new one shortly afterwards. It was refreshing how straightforward and clear he was about what needed doing, how it needed doing and how much it cost. More importantly, he did exactly what he said he would and in the timescale agreed. My mum gets very nervous about having any work done in her home and Craig could not have been nicer to her and kept me in the loop also so that mum didn't need to worry about anything. He also cleaned up after himself leaving the area he had worked on spotless.

In November, during some exceptionally heavy storms, we had leaks from our ceiling. Having only recently moved in, we were surprised at this. Having contacted Craig, he sent an emergency team over to identify the sources of the leaks and make good some previously botched work carried out by the previous owner of the house. This patched up the roof enough to stop the leaks, but then Craig returned with his team a week or so later to properly carry out the remedial work. There was a further problem with one of the leaks which emerged a few weeks later during the Christmas break, and Craig returned to remedy the problem within days...and it seems to have done the trick. I highly recommend Craig and his team as professional, skilled and friendly. 5 stars from me.

The work was done to a expert condition, they were quick and supplied potographs of the work completed. Every stage of the work was explained, completion was tidied up to an excellent level. The work was perfect for me and has saved me from futher problems.

Craig Bridges came recommended to us by a solar panel installer as we wanted to replace the roof before the solar panels went on. Craig visited, gave a competitive quote, guiding us to select a tile type that would give us the cloaked verge we wanted. Responded to a reported leak with free and honest consultation, followed by a reasonable quote and a very professional job on the roof replacement. All work on the replacement itself was done while I was out of the house (over the course of a single day) and was well-documented with photos from throughout the process (sent via email on the same day). Scaffolding was put up (with advance notice) the day before the work and was removed by the end of the week. The new roof appears to be fitted to a high standard and comes with a lengthy guarantee. In these challenging times, it was good to see the Craig Bridges Roofing Team delivering outstanding workmanship in fitting Dry Verges to my house and garage. From initial contact with Craig, through the assessment of work required, to the quote, gave me the confidence to choose this way to repair my roof. For a prompt start and quick removal of scaffold was done very efficiently. My house is now ready to stand up to the storms and high winds.

Craig seems to have managed to fix a recurring leak that we've had for 9m around the chimneys on our roof, after 2 other roofers have tried but done poor jobs. Having been burned twice, we were exceptionally thorough in choosing the 3rd person to use. We chose Craig because he is a Which Trusted Trader, he actually went up on the roof to investigate the issues properly, his quote was competitive, he answered all our questions convincingly, and he could fit us in within a reasonable time. He redid all the leadwork around both chimneys, which was completed just before Storm Arwen. So far it's withstood that storm, strong winds, heavy rain and snow! We had a concern a week later about a wet patch of felt, and Craig came out promptly to check it, which was greatly appreciated. Craig is easy to get hold of, and pleasant to deal with. We would definitely recommend.

Craig and his team provided us with a complete new roof for our bungalow and I must say I was very impressed with all aspects of their work particularly the organisation and logistical arrangements for materials scaffolding skips etc which ensured minimal disruption. I had 3 estimates all very close but I chose Craig because he was the only contractor who actually got on the roof and did a full inspection and costing exercise. Much in demand which is a clear indication of his work quality I had to wait 3 months for a start which was made clear to me when I accepted his quote. All I can say is that the wait was well worth it! Many contractors from differing trades tend to roll up in the morning anywhere between 8.30-9.30. Not Craig and his 2 assistants who turned up on all 5 days before 8 and cracked on. I had been trying to get my flat roof on my extension replaced for a while but was let down by somebody who priced for job but did no answer phone calls and texts to give me a date to start. I knew it was on its last legs so was worried how long before leaks would appear. I noticed Craig Bridges was doing a new roof a few houses down from mine. I made enquiries about Craig with the house owners and they were delighted with his workmanship. I consequently asked him for a survey and price for a new roof which he obliged within a few days. I agreed to have him do the work. He soon got in touch to ask me if he could come the next day and do the job. I agreed to this. What should have been a days job took two days due to terrible weather conditions but it is now complete. I am very happy with the standard of workmanship and cleanliness. I called Craig after reading his excellent reviews on Trusted Traders. He arranged to come out and discuss my requirements, which he did, arriving at the arranged time. I was thinking of having some Velux windows fitted in my kitchen roof. After some discussion, I took his advice and decided instead to have 3 Sun Tunnels fitted. His solution meant a lot less work and mess, for the same result, and at a cheaper cost to myself. Craig and his team fitted the Sun Tunnels in one day. They worked non stop, covered my floor to catch all the mess, and cleared up all the mess, inside and out, and took it all away. The estimate for the work was fair, and that was the amount on the final invoice. I can highly recommend Craig, and he will be the only person I will call, if I need more roofing work in the future.

I selected Craig because of Which Trusted Traders and the strength of the customer reviews posted on the site. Craig properly inspected the existing roof to a single storey extension and took his time to understand the problems and to consider the best solution. The issues we were having were complicated and included a badly designed fallpipe system directing rainwater from the main house roof to the roof of a single storey extension, incorrect roof tiles and incorrect leadwork resulting in rainwater running down the outside wall rather than into the gutters. Craig and his team arrived on time and completed the work to replace the single storey roof and guttering. The existing fallpipe system was adapted to better direct the rainwater from the main roof directly into the gutter lower down. The new leadwork was correctly fitted and a new box gutter added. An extra fallpipe was also added to better direct the water from the lower roof. A new dry ridge system was used. To say that Craig and his team are hardworking is an understatement. They did not stop - even when the snow started! Extremely professional, thorough with attention to detail. The work was completed at the agreed price and is guaranteed for 10 years. I would not hesitate to use Craig again and would be happy to recommend him to friends and family.

This is the second job Craig has done for me, and it consisted of removing an old extension roof and replacing it. I have found Craig to be very professional. Nothing is too much trouble, He was happy to discuss any worries I might have. He arrived at the location required when he says he would. Had Craigs team to replace a leaded flat roof, they did a decent job. Then had them replace the roof lights (3 no) and sort a chimney. Barry came out to look at our roof and provided quotations for a couple of options. We decided to replace our ridge tiles and verges with dry ridge and verge systems. Craig and his roofer Luke started early on the agreed date and carried out the work quickly and efficiently over three days. The quality of the workmanship looks good - but the proof will be in how well the roof performs through rain and storms over the years. The work was completed at the quoted price. We agreed to some extra work at additional cost - repairing damaged valleys to the roof. Luke also fixed a number of broken tiles and other small defects within the agreed price. The site was left clean and tidy at the end of the job. Craig and Luke were pleasant and courteous throughout.

He did so, by email, the same day, promising a phone call the next day, a Saturday. He proposed coming over on Monday, and did so at the time arranged. We have an old stone tiled roof that was leaking. Craig and his team did an excellent job repairing it, replacing all the valleys and repointing and replacing many of the tiles. The guys are really hard working, reliable and did a really good job. Craig came out to quote for replacing an old leaking felt roof, his price was very competitive and the other reviews extremely positive. Craig and Luke came early on Saturday morning and worked flat out for 6 hours stripping the old roof and replacing all the old boards with quality fibreboard and installing a one piece EPDM rubber roof, new fascias and guttering. They took away all the mess and left the area spotless. They were always polite and friendly and kept the noise to a minimum. I would highly recommend them and would use them again.

We agreed the work could be scheduled for the coming Sat morning when one of his team arrived at 08:30am, he was very polite and just got on with the job of removing the old roof and fitting a new Firestone rubber one. My roof was leaking around the base of the chimney due to poor workmanship by the previous owner's contractor. When I 'phoned Craig he was able to come out straight away (in the rain) to assess the problem and after less than five minutes he had identified the problem and offered to fix it then and there for a *very* reasonable sum. I watched the process as I have had poor experiences of roofers and was impressed by his professionalism and his willingness to explain in detail the nature of the problem and how he would solve it. Craig completely refurbished my badly leaking dormer roof. He responded straight away to my initial enquiry,coming out to see the problem on the Sunday afternoon that I rang him. He provided me with a clear concise quote, and explanation of what was required. Craig made a temporary repair on the roof as Xmas was just a few days away. When I decided to have the polycarbonate roof on my extension replaced with a tiled I called several roofers to explain my requirements. Only Craig said it could be done. not only that he had a team which could replace the ceiling inside the extension as well. Craig sent me diagrams of what he would do and I was pleasantly suprised when the quote for the work was less than the other roofers - who were offering me a rubber coated flat roof - which is something I didn't want. Last year I was ripped off by a building company (cowboys) who left me out of pocket and a Bungalow that required an army of good tradesman to put things right and finish of the refurb. Craig came and inspected the roof { and he went up a ladder on to it to do so unlike another company I had asked to quote} I was advised that the tiles on the roof were fine but that the ridge tiles were in a poor state and needed to be removed and re- bedded. I was also offered a dry system where all the original ridge tiles are removed and a new up to date dry system that would require no future maintenance. I opted for the second option. Everything that was removed from the roof was taken away and the areas being worked in were left as found on a daily basis. Thanks Craig and all the team for a great job well done.
