I had a damp problem , a window frame which had "sagged" ,and some brickwork which needed re-pointing. Michael from Cromarty Construction did the work in about three days . I am a full-time career , so I could not always be on site when Michael was working , but Michael was flexible , and worked on the days I requested . The work was done to the agreed budget . Michael was was very helpful and explained exactly what he would do before he started work . I would certainly use the company again .

We had water ingress in our kitchen from our neighbour’ upstairs bathroom, ruining our Half tiled party wall and wall/floor cupboards. Cromarty provided an estimate to submit to our insurance co, on their work spec to remove and restore the cupboards, wall and tiles. Cromarty won the tender and started as soon as the insurer would let them. They arrived at a time to suit us, could be trusted around the house, left the house clean and sufficiently tidy each evening, They found things that the previous builders of the kitchen had “bodged or skimped “ like the electric socket placements and made a point of remedying these hidden issues. Mike Coomber of Cromarty was very meticulous in the tiling and everything he did. We were very happy with the efficiency of this company.

Michael carried out a refurbishment of a room in our house, this included electrical, carpentry, plastering and decorating work. Michael is methodical in his work and everything was carried out to an exceptionally high standard. The house was always left clean and tidy, I would not hesitate to recommend Michael or his craftsmanship.

We contacted Michael on a recommendation as we needed our ceiling replaced as it was blown and some walls plastered in one of our bedrooms in our victorian property. He was most thorough at every stage from his initial visit to completing the work and he thoroughly investigated any underlying issues before embarking on the work. His workmanship was exemplary- he was punctual, organised, and most considerate to contain any mess or upheaval, and the end results were excellent - He strived to create the highest standards I have seen of any builder I have employed. We were thrilled of the end results and the transformation he has made to our home.

Cromarty Construction completely re-decorated our flat from top to bottom. They also added some new plug sockets, tidied up our broadband and TV cabling, hung six large pictures and re-hung several inside doors and the front door, which all needed attention. The prospect of living in a two bed flat alongside this level of work wasn't something we were looking forward to at all. However, Michael was very organised and conscientious, cleaning up and leaving the place tidy at the end of each day. Michael is very knowledgeable and we wouldn't hesitate to use him again.
