I decided to contact Danny after reading the positive reviews on Which and I was not disappointed. Danny carried out the repair to our back door lock in a very efficient manner and although it was not straightforward he persevered until he was successful. There is no doubt that some other locksmiths would have said that the whole locking mechanism would need to be replaced and increased the cost of the work considerably. Danny is a very friendly and honest person and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

I am not ordinarily prone to writing reviews, but Danny Cusworth deserves all the credit and positive feedback he earns. He is a rare combination of tradesman who combines all the qualities we all look for but so rarely find. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He resolved a problem for us which has been re-ocurring for us over 12 years. He fixed the lock just like all who had gone before him(some of them expensively) but identified the cause of our repeating problem was being caused by the door. He duly adjusted our door as well and we now find the door works as intended for the first time since it was fitted. Top marks Danny, great work, great customer focus, great knowledge, and enthuisasm. Finally hes a really nice bloke as well ! Got a lock problem? Get Danny in!

Danny has carried out work for us now on 3 occasions and each time he has been very efficient in his work and has offered good advice. The last time he came out was to replace our external door locks with snap-proof cylinders. He advised us on the best ones to buy and then returned a couple of days later to fit them. Whilst he was here he also carried out a check of the doors to ensure that there were no other problems. We would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who requires a locksmith.

Danny is a very knowledgable and professional locksmith who I can wholly recommend. He replaced all the handles and locks on 5 external doors with double locking sets of security handles . The cylinders he fitted were TS007 3* Sold Secure Diamond. These are anti snap preventing burglars entering property by drilling out and snapping the lock. My neighbour was burgled recently by snapping his insecure barrel on his front door. The police advised me to enhance the security on all my external doors. Danny Cusworth advised me what should be fitted in a very timely manner and he fitted them the following day. I was very impressed with his knowledge. He is very reassuring and courteous in undertaking his work. Quality of his work is first class. He even returned a few days later with extra cut keys, gratis. Great service and I am a delighted customer

Danny provides an amazing service. We’ve used him twice now. The first time was to replace a faulty lock on a heritage door. The second was to sort out the problems as a result of warping on an old door, which he realigned and adjusted so that the two locks and bolts all worked perfectly. What we thought was a problem with the lock turned out to be some a little unexpected, which was dealt with very well and with patience. Danny is prompt, thorough and friendly. His charges are very reasonable and he works safely with a mask and social distancing etc. We’ve needed a couple of trades people in during lockdown, and they’ve not all been as on the ball as Danny was with regard to safety. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cusworth Locksmiths or Danny.

I have used this company on a number of occasions and they have always been reliable, coming when they agreed to, understanding the problem, and resolving it quickly. Their invoices are always for the agreed quotation. This time the lock to our kitchen door had broken and I was unable to lock it easily. I called and Danny attended on the same day, resolved the issue there and then ( a replacement mechanism which he had on the van) and invoiced exactly as agreed. Great service!

Brilliant service from Danny. Our front door lock had failed in the closed position. He was able to provide a same day response and managed to drill out the failed gearbox and replace from the well stocked selection of spares available on the van. He was very courteous and knowledgeable and pricing was competitive. I would have no hesitation in recommending Danny and Cusworth Master Locksmiths.

After discovering an issue with my bi-fold doors I called Danny in the morning after a google search of local locksmiths. Danny was very polite and helpful when I called and we arranged for him to visit that afternoon, which was extremely convenient. Danny quickly diagnosed the problem with the doors and worked quickly and efficiently to resolve an issue with one of the doors and to identify the unusual part that needed to be sourced for the other. The door that was fixed there and then works better than it ever has done and Danny is chasing down the unusual part for the other door. Great service!

Danny changed two locks on my front door just after we'd moved in to a new house. He was very friendly, smart appearance and got on with the job with the minimum of fuss. Job was done in a timely manner and Danny's communication from booking in to arrival was excellent. I have no problems recommending Cusworth Master Locksmiths highly.

I telephoned Cusworth Locksmiths as my front door Yale lock had started to stick and the chub was becoming temperamental too. The added complication - or so I thought - was that we wanted the same key for the outer porch door locks too. Having got through on the phone to Danny without a problem, it was well explained what I needed, which was not, thankfully, the expense of full new locks. The appointment was made and Danny arrived right on time as arranged and set to work, competing the task professionally and without fuss, changing the Yale barrels and just the insides of the chub. Both doors sorted and the same key to both doors - all within the hour. Thank you for such an efficient service. I will certainly use you again.

I was unable to open my home office window which in the present warm weather made working unpleasant. Danny responded to my telephone call saying that he was very busy but to text my details to him and he would get back to me. Because of the layout of my room it was quite difficult to get to the window which had a broken gearbox. After a difficult gearbox removal Danny managed to source a new one to replace the now obsolete existing item and returned later to fit this to enable my window to open and close again. A highly recommended service.

Great service. Great value. Very professional and friendly. I was concerned about the locks in our older (2004) upvc doors after seeing a warning from Police about the way they could be snapped to gain entry in a few seconds. Danny arranged to visit quickly. He made some good practice recommendations which we followed. After fitting the locks he made a second visit at no extra charge to exchange a lock in a double door because he had been sent one which didn't have a matching key to the other door. We would have been happy to have kept the other lock but he insisted that it wasn't what he had said he would fit and so he ordered another lock at his own expense to match. No hesitation in recommending him.

I'd attempted to remove and re-install a lock but got into the position of the door being locked but the key not able to unlock it. Rang Cusworth - Danny explained it would be more expensive for him to come out immediately, so as it wasn't an emergency we agreed he'd come the following morning. He hadn't arrived by lunchtime, so I rang him again and he explained he'd been attending an urgent call, but would get to us in about an hour, which he did. He sorted the lock out in about half an hour and charged £52.

This is the second time I've used Cusworths Master Locksmiths. I received a prompt reply to my enquiry, Danny popped over to check the sizes of locks he would need, then arranged to come back several days later to fit them. The work was done quickly, to a very high standard and the cost was very reasonable. I have recommended their service in the past would not hesitate to do so again in the future. It's a proper, local company (not part of a national chain) that understands that good, friendly service will always win.
