I would like to commend the work of C. W. Stanley – Surfacing and Landscape Company. The company have undertaken 2 extensive projects for us, and both were completed to the highest standards. The latest project was the resurfacing of our drive with permeable tarmac, to retile the floor of our porch, make some alterations to our garden walls and replace our drain covers. They also buried a telecommunications cable beneath the drive and up to the house. All the work was carried out with a high degree of professionalism, accuracy and attention to detail. This was a difficult job requiring excellent teamwork to achieve such outstanding results. There was a strong sense of pride in a job done well from all members of the team. Communication was excellent. From start to finish we were kept fully informed and were consulted and advised regarding all decisions. I was impressed by the technical expertise of the team and with their hard work. The project has improved the look of the house. All members of the team were a pleasure to work with and the project was completed efficiently and for a good price. All work was completed on schedule and disruption was kept to a minimum. The site was always left clean and tidy. We were fully informed about the tarmac and its aftercare. We were given contact details should we need further advice as well as a helpful information leaflet. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

I cannot recommend CW Stanley enough right from the first time I met Aaron Stanley I could immediately tell this was going to be the company I would chose for our driveway. My wife and I are very pleased with our contractor choice, the team arrived and we observed workmanship and a customer care standard of the highest quality.

We utilised Aaron & the team at CW Stanley to completely refurbish our driveway and car parking area after the original installation (7 years ago) started to fail. The team came up with a number of options and clearly set out the benefits of each approach and made their recommendation (this was not for the most expensive). Communication was first class before, during and after the work. The quality of their work and professionalism was first class with the site left spotless after they finished. I very rarely write reviews, but on this occasion, I am more than happy to do so. In my view, there are four types of companies - (1) bad (2) OK (3) good (4) outstanding. This company easily fits into category (4). The work involved extensive groundwork in preparation for the laying of about 90m2 Tegula Drivesett block paviors. The work was completed on time and to the agreed budget. As soon as I met Colin Stanley I knew that his company would be awarded the contract. He was agreeable, honest, helpful, and very knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble. This firm comes highly recommended.

We were so pleased with the work Aaron and his team did on our driveway a few years ago that we knew they would be the right people to build us a much needed patio, and we weren’t wrong. The work we had undertaken involved the removal of a badly cracked concrete driveway and replacement by tarmac and brick edging. Very professional service, from the start of our dealings with the firm, using their website, through arranging an initial site meeting, followed by a detailed quotation and subsequent work undertaken on site. Although there was a several month wait before the work could be undertaken, due to their existing commitments (of which we were advised at the outset), the actual work was undertaken several days before the provisionally agreed date and completed within the expected timescale. It also was in accordance with the quotation provided. At all times, their staff were polite, helpful and well presented. When on site, their team were efficient, disciplined, courteous, well behaved and minimised disruption to our neighbours. Machinery and materials arrived when required and were on site for no longer than necessary. We were grateful for advice received from Charlie Stanley before, during and after the works and his willingness to answer any queries we might have had. The whole experience exceeded our expectations and we are very happy to recommend their services to any other prospective clients.
