D C Groves & Son

I can not praise the company of D C Groves & Son highly enough. From the first contact to arrange a quote, and through the whole process to the actual moving date they were extremely friendly, professional and obliging. Moving home is rarely easy, and they totally appreciate and did their utmost to accommodate the continual change of moving date. I elected to have the packing service and this proved invaluable, done in half the time it would have taken me and everything was packed very thoroughly and arrived at the new home safely and all in one piece. Well done, and huge thanks to Andy and Jack who helped to make the day a lot less stressful. A great double act!

Like all house moves I was not looking forward to the upheaval, stress and chaos that moving house inevitably causes but this was not so with what I experienced with D C Groves & Son and particularly Andy and his amazing team of men who actually carried out my move. Apart from their efficiency and professionalism Nothing was too much trouble , no task beyond them and all requests were carried out cheerfully and extremely efficiently I have never experienced such hardworking men, who in my opinion went well beyond anything I was expecting in the care and packing up of my possessions. Everything went like clockwork, with might I add at times a great deal of humour, laughter and fun too, which is what is needed at this stressful time They were a joy to have around I cannot find enough words to praise them. I am still trying to take in just how much they achieved in one day. It was certainly a good day when i received DC Groves & son's brochure in the post and I would have no hesitation in recommending this firm to any would be 'movers' Well done D C Groves & Son Keep it up a truly first class service

This is my 2nd move using D.C Groves, and I would highly recommend them. The team arrived on Thurs to start packing up & loading and finished packing and loading Fri morning, I was in the new house and fully unloaded by mid-afternoon. I totally didn't consider the fact that the new house front and internal doors were smaller/narrower than the old house, but the team rose to the challenge of getting my couches over the garden fence and in through the patio doors and again with the office desk having to be dismantled and reassembled (which weren't part of the moving plan) - but nothing was too much trouble, super helpful, friendly and cheerful, for me they made the whole move stress free and I just needed to point to where the furniture/boxes were going and make tea which was the least I could do.

I recently had to organise a big residential move from Tenterden to London and had a couple of quotes for the job. I ended up choosing Tenterden Removals/ D C Groves - they were really excellent from first contact and initial assessment with Ian - giving a clear and professional quote and explanation of the process. Follow up contact with Pippa and her colleagues at the office was efficient and friendly and the team (Andy, John, Andrew and Jack) who packed up the house in one day and carried out the move and unpacking three days later were incredibly polite, friendly and hard-working. Brilliant! Thank you all.

From survey of my house to final delivery every contact with Groves was a pleasure. The management and office staff were always helpful and the lads doing the lifting were careful and completely unfazed by any changes of my mind as to where things were to go. Well done all!

Moving house can be very stressful but I can honestly say they made it very easy and painless and I would definitely recommend.
