What an outstanding company! Our move took place over six days, shifting a total of 5,500 cubic metres (twenty of Groves’ wooden containers) into store on some of the hottest days this year. Anthony and his crew had such an incredible can-do attitude, always finding a way to solve every challenge. The move from store to our new home, several hundred miles away, was accomplished over another six separate days; this time Groves had to negotiate winding lanes, tight turns and torrential rain. Still their lorries got through and the unloading was performed with great care, good humour and in complete safety, respecting all Covid-19 precautions. What makes Groves outstanding is their consistent and reassuring communication and how they accommodated our ever-changing completion date. First class in every way!

D. C. Groves (Tenterden Removals) moved all my possessions out of my house in East Sussex 18 months ago and have stored it until Monday when it was delivered to me in my new house in Dorset. They have been very pleasant to work with. The removers themselves were amazingly efficient - no scratched doors or furniture - and all done very quickly. Now I am unpacking things, I can see how well they have been packed and stored. I can certainly recommend this firm

Groves moved us from Sissinghurst to Lewes and were excellent in every way. From their initial advice to the actual move, all the staff were efficient, friendly and polite. The men who carried out the move were wonderful and did a brilliant job. Thank you Groves!

Anthony and his team did an excellent job of moving us from a 3 bedroom house to a smaller bungalow, we hadn’t moved for 25 years so it was quite a challenge with so much stuff and not to mention all the pot plants. They were very professional and good humoured. Very helpful team and so glad I opted for the packing of breakables option - really took the stress out of moving. Thoroughly recommended.

At first sight, asking D.C.Groves to move us from our old house into a new apartment might not seem challenging - the two properties were barely 100 yards apart! However, on the day of our move a storm hit the UK, and Anthony Groves and his team had to contend with howling winds and lashing rain. Deeply unpleasant... Despite this, they carried out the move with consummate professionalism, and - remarkably - great good humour. All aspects of their work were highly satisfactory, but we were particularly grateful for their care in packing up our collection of wine glasses - not one was broken. We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending D.C.Groves for removals. Professionalism of the highest order.

Very happy with this Company. They arrived on time, very polite and ensured that all carpet was covered and started the loading promptly. Absolutely brilliant from first contact to arrange a quote to picking up the boxes after moving us in. Everyone who we came into contact with was friendly, helpful, reliable and polite . The move was stress-free, efficient and all done before lunch.
