D J Garage Services (incorporating D J Motoring Centre) is a family run establishment with over 50 years experience in providing servicing, repairs and MOTs for all makes and types of car.

To keep in tune with the modern vehicle we use the very latest diagnostic technology to ensure your vehicle is in the best possible care that D J Garage Services can provide.

Our reputation is based on honesty and dedication to customer satisfaction. We are always pleased to discuss any problems you may have with your vehicle. Our aim is to offer you, the customer, the very best prices in the area.

We are situated in Stanstead Abbotts close to the Railway Station. We can also offer a collection and delivery service at no extra cost, in the local vicinity or collect you and bring you down to the garage.

Chris and Ray's team are very experienced, professional and have always looked after me. When I have a problem they identify it and sort it. Their servicing is also excellent keeping my cars in good order. I've been going to them for some 30 years now! They must be doing something right!

Needing an annual service on my 10 year old Ford Fusion, I phoned on the Tuesday and was promptly given a date on the Friday. On my arrival I found that the garage's electronic system revealed all my previous visits and appointments which conveys a professional, secure and satisfactory modus operandi. I was given consideration as to when I could collect my car and upon doing so I was given a full explanation as to charges etc. (I was unaware that one item of repair was within a year's guarantee and was not charged for; I would have been unaware of this if they had not taken the initiative)

I have now been using DJ Garage Services for almost twenty years and they have always gone above and beyond the call of duty in meeting my needs. They are honest, reliable and thorough in everything they do. Amber engine warning light had come on. I phoned them and explained problem. A date was made for car to go in to garage. Problem was sorted within a few hours and I was contacted to say car was ready for collection. It was explained to me what problem had been. As usual, a first-class service.

Can't believe that I have lived in Stanstead Abbotts for 10 years and only recently found out about this garage while doing a web search! The rear n/s suspension on my VW Polo failed and needed replacing. Having read the comments on this site I felt confident using them. It was confidence that was well placed. The car was booked in for the next morning, they already had the part waiting and I got the call that the car was ready in under an hour! Total job including parts was less than ninety quid! 100% I will be using them again. One other benefit of using companies like this is that you are supporting local trades employing local people.

I have had my car serviced by DJ Garages since 2016 and started going to them through recommendation. My recent visit was for a full service and MOT. I find them helpful and their prices seem comparable with other garages I have used. This is the second year I have used DJ Services and both times I have been extremely satisfied. Fast and efficient service. Very friendly staff. Time was taken to explain a detailed breakdown of worn that should be carried out before next years MOT. I will certainly be taking my car back as and when the work is required.

My other half took my car to get it right after he hit a kerb. We always experience great service from start to finish. The are very open and give sound advice on repair, cost and time scales. Last summer my campervan over heated and lost a lot of water. Suspecting the head gasket had blown took poorly camper to the garage. They inspected, tested and identified the cause- the passenger seat sits over the engine bay and the seat had pressed on the radiator cap which opened it ! Hence the loss of water. Without condescending mechanic showed me the imprint of the radiator cap on the seat underneath. Could not believe it could be something so trivial. D J Garage was a great service identifying the cause and putting my mind at rest. Seat surely was fixed when got it home and van no longer over heating. Happy holidays to come. I would definitely recommend this garage. Thank you.
