I don't normally give reviews but in this case it is fully merited. A tile fell off my roof. I emailed on Monday, they inspected on Tuesday, did the work on Wednesday and I paid on Thursday. Very professional and efficient.

After an unexpected leak in the roof of my Victorian terrace property, I contacted D&P for advice. Their response was excellent and in no time at all a member of their team came out to assess the situation. As we expected, it was not good news and the diagnosis was that the annexe roof needed to be totally replaced owing to the water damage to some of the roof trusses and battens. Having approved the quote, the team quickly sprung into action. Scaffolding was erected and this was soon followed by the roofing team arriving on site. The old roof was taken off, timbers replaced, new insulation installed, a waterproof membrane installed and new roof tiles & ridge tiles fitted. All the roofing team were friendly, polite, respectful and adopted a clean-as-you-go policy. Within a week we went from an old roof to a new one and are very happy with the result. I would have no hesitation in recommending D&P building services to anyone. 10/10.

D & P customer service demonstrates a standard of outstanding excellence which is frequently all too lacking these days, in those involved in the house building and maintenance trades. Their people communicate very well, agreeing specifications, forward work plans etc. Followed by frequent updates and progress reports. Nothing is too much trouble. In essence the whole outfit functions as a well-integrated team, inclusive of effective administration and computer systems. As referred to above D&P operates as an integrated effective team dedicated to providing a top-quality service and product. They clear up carefully after themselves, leaving a very pristine environment on completion. In short, a quality assured service from start to finish, reinforced by a 5/10-year product guarantee. The jobs were completed on schedule, to quoted budget with no supplementary charges. The prices quoted were all, in my opinion, very reasonable and, demonstrate good value for money.

D&P Roofing and Building quoted for replacing about 100 bricks with blown faces in a gable wall and then fully repointing the wall. Also, we wanted 9 metres of drain putting along a conservatory wall, 6 coping stones on a low wall relaying and a small area concreting. Once there was a suitable gap in the very wet summer, the scaffolding went up and D&P Roofing set to work. On the first day, when starting to remove the damaged bricks, a few other bricks began to break up. Paul said it was looking like we might need a full rebuild of the wall instead. We thought this was going to be very expensive. However, it transpired that this was not needed and the original quote held. This indicated the honesty of the company. On other occasions, D&P were prepared to wait for better weather to point rather than risk doing so in poorer conditions. Throughout, the lads worked hard onsite, were very pleasant and left the site tidy each day. Every day, depending on the weather, we were informed early whether or not they would be coming. This meant we weren't left hanging around for hours on end. The office staff kept us informed of when things would be happening, such as the scaffolding and skip arriving and being collected. We are very pleased with the workmanship and professionalism of everyone at D&P Roofing. It was pleasant to deal with a company which values its work and its customers. The work was done to budget and we have no problem in recommending D&P Roofing and Building highly.

We are a landlord and needed a roofline replacing. I got in contact with Dale and his Team for a quote after some other roofers strung us along and let us down. Dale was quick to go for an assessment and estimate. His estimate was very detailed and broke everything down. When we were in a position to proceed with the work. He was able to get scaffolding up and start the job in 3 weeks. Thats pretty good going. The feedback I have got is that they are very thorough and did the job well as well as keeping me informed. One of the guys had a question for me, and tried me about 5 times before I was able to answer. Thats persistance! 😀 We got the paperwork through for the guarantee promptly once the work was done. Thats a big plus. Its hard to find a reputable tradesman these days. D&P Roofing and Building are an exception and were courteous and professional throughout.

D&P replaced the roof on my victorian semi. I am very happy with my new roof and I am looking forward to having no leaks when it rains! I have so much respect for the team of roofers who had to work under difficult conditions, extreme heat and a 100+ years of filth to contend with and they just got on with the job. D&P were great throughout, delivering the job in good time and on budget. A special shout out to the lovely ladies in the office who get things organised:-)

The work was contracted for in November and effected in June, due largely to the exceptionally wet conditions over the Winter. From the first site visit to completion of the work the company were fully professional and respectful in all aspects (assessment of work, full and formal quotation, temporary capping, scaffolding control, removal of chimney stack to just below roof level, capping of remaining stack, extending roof over stack, supplementary drainage).

We contacted D & P Roofing and builders to put a new bay roof on They arrived on the day that we agreed and proceeded to take the old bay roof down made sure to clear all the debris up before installing the new bay roof they were very hard working, respectful and efficient they kept us up to date as to what was happening and completed the work in the time agreed I would not hesitate to highly this company. The D&P team worked very hard on the job. They always kept us informed on the various aspects of the job and how it was progressing. They were very professional. They stand out as being friendly, very reliable and A1 delivery. They do what they say on time (adjusting for weather), and resolve issues as they arise. Top service from start to finish. I needed a full re-roof, removal of front chimney and repair of back shared chimney; there were no additional/hidden costs and works were completed efficiently and as quickly as possible. Work took about a month altogether (from scaff going up to coming down) due to unavoidable delays with the weather. The team were great at cleaning up afterwards - was really impressed that a window cleaner was sent as well! Communication was also top notch, the office were very responsive and super helpful and friendly, as well as being flexible with my schedule (I needed to be home to give access, and my work schedule changes week on week). New roof looks absolutely brilliant and I will be a repeat customer as I have a lot of other work that needs doing. Highly recommended, thanks team!
