Dale went above and beyond when replacing our roof. Always keeping me up to date with lots of photos and messages. Not cutting corners, kept to budget and did a good quality job. Also a really nice guy too. Highly recommend.

Paul and Dale successfully quoted to build me a new hobby room in my loft for my model railway. The excellent reviews they had on Which Trusted Traders gave me confidence in booking them for the job and I wasn't disappointed with their excellent work. Firstly, they started the job promptly and worked continuously until all the work was finished. Secondly, Paul and his assistant Mark worked so hard throughout the week and seamlessly slotted in the plastering and electrical work around the necessary roof alterations to fit two new Velux windows into my loft area. The result of all of their superb efforts is wonderful new, light bright and warm hobby room fitted to a very high standard ready for me to build my new railway layout. What also impressed us is how Paul minimised any mess by taking all the old materials and installing the new ones via the roof vents to keep our house nice and tidy - a really thoughtful touch. Communication before and during the job was superb and any minor alterations to my original plan were taken on board with any issues. A very professional team who did a great job for me and for which I am very grateful.

I contacted Dale and his team after another roofing company had messed up my roof and I had water coming into my property. From coming round to look at the issues to completing the job I cannot recommend these guys highly enough! Dale kept in constant contact with me throughout and even when the job was completed they left the scaffolding up my request until the next time it rained to ensure the issues were fixed. There was a small amount of water still finding its way into the property but the team came straight back out and rectified this issue immediately. I am extremely happy with the work they completed and the customer service was second to none. I will definitely be using D&P Roofing and Building LTD for any works in the future. I also want to add my thanks and appreciation to the guys. I had been having problems with my roof and the other roofing company for well over 18 months before I contacted D and P Roofing and Building but Dale and his team put my mind at rest and now that my house is no longer leaking I can finally relax! Dale, Paul, and their team have just completed a full re-roof on my house, including fascias, soffits, and guttering. My wife and I are both absolutely thrilled with the results. Dale arranged everything with speed and efficiency, and kept us informed throughout the job. Paul and the team on site would also inform us daily about progress. My wife was off on maternity leave while the job was done and she commented on how professional the team were - they worked hard, cleaned up any mess, were very polite, and were always happy to move things out of the way if she was coming or going from the house with the baby. The work was completed to the highest standard and I would highly recommend Dale and Paul, and their team. If we ever require any building or roofing work in the future, they will be the first people we call. Could not be happier!

Couldn't recommend D & P any more highly, every aspect of the job has been absolutely brilliant. We had a full roof replacement done and from quote all the way through to completion Dale, Paul and all the guys were absolutely brilliant. Work has been completed to a very high standard, we paid exactly what was quoted and communication from Dale was excellent throughout. Also, we live in a mid-terrace house but all the guys were very considerate of the neighbours which we were expecially grateful for. Would have no hesitation using D&P again.

I had a problem with the bedroom walls getting damp, it was the gutter leaking. Dale and Paul did a great job to fix this, they were both very helpful and very nice. I’ll definitely be using them for any future building work.

Dale, Paul and the lads fitted a brand new roof, fascias and guttering for me. They also completed some outdoor work that had been left unfinished by another company. Dale was upfront about all costs and the works schedule and kept me up to date at all times during these works - I paid exactly what was quoted and was impressed by the professional and friendly service that was given. Would definitely recommend Dale, Paul and their team. I approached Dale a couple of months ago for my gutters, fascias and soffits to be replaced. He said that they were really busy but I was willing to wait. He kept in regular contact, gave me a quote for the job and a date to start. He kept me informed both prior and during the job and also after it was completed to remove the scaffolding. He arranged for my sky dish to be moved as the scaffolding blocked it, put me in touch with a decorator to give my rendering a lick of paint, I was going to do this anyway once the job was finished but it made sense whilst the scaffolding was up. On the days they couldn’t turn up because of the weather, either Dale or Paul would let me know and tell me when they were able to carry on. They were always tidy, sweeping up before they left each night. All the boys were really friendly and polite, although professional in the job they were doing. They worked hard, never stopped all day and this shows in the quality of the job. Dale arranged for the sky dish to be put back within a couple of hours of the scaffolding coming down. The little things like good communication, sorting out little problems for you is as important as the actual job itself. I would 100% recommend these guys for any work needed. I will never use anybody else. I used to pull up to my house and cringe, not anymore, my home looks amazing thanks to D & P

D & P roofing have been amazing from start to finish. really pleased with the work they have carried out for us over the years. very professional, reliable always polite, clean and reasonably priced. i would recommend them to anyone wanting looking for any building works.

Dale gave a couple of options for our leaking flat roof and a fair quote. They are busy so couldn’t do the job right away but he kept me informed throughout and even carried out a emergency gutter repair straight away on the way back from another job. The lads completed the job in one day as promised and left the back garden exactly as they found it. Very nice job and very tidy workers. Highly recommended.

Paul and his crew did an excellent job on replacing a chimney pot and pointing. I would recommend them to anyone requiring roof work. Courteous, clean and tidy work.

The best thing about this company is that they are reliable. They give you a price for the work and carry it out ( weather permitting) when they say they will and to an excellent standard. Dale has organised three projects for me comprising creation of a Velux window, re- roofing my garage and chimney works ( including bird- proofing it). I am very happy with the work and Dale’s communication throughout has been exemplary. Thanks also due to Paul for his work on site and the excellent scaffolding team.

Me and my partner had just bought our first property which needed some work doing on the roof (re-pointing of the chimney stack, several missing tiles and a new dry ridge system). We contacted Dale who visited promptly and advised us on the work that needed doing along with a quote. The quote that was given was very reasonable (we was even given additional discount as we both work for the NHS!) The time frame in which the work was agreed and carried out in was also brilliant and the work was finished to a high standard. I decided to have my roof redone and one of the firm's I had seen locally was d&p roofing after a quick search I found a site with glowing reviews about them so made the call. Dale and Paul came out to give me a estimate for the work and to discuss all aspects of the work to be done, I thought the price would be a bit on the steep side for a complete re roof but the price was very reasonable so much so that I decided to have my back kitchen roof replaced as well and also the decorative roof over my front downstairs window ( this measures 16 ft ). The job was to be done whilst I was away on a 2 week vacation so this meant that the job would be finished by the time I came back. As well as the roofing work Dale and the boys also dropped my chimney by half and installed new gutters and drain pipes and fascia boards front and back and also painted the panels at the front of the house. The job was carried out in a completely professional manner by a professional company and I would recommend them to anyone who wants a good, honest and reliable company to carry out any roofing or building works

After 10 years of on & off leaking of our tiled pitched roof on our extension with a number of other roofing companies all trying and failing to fix it we found Dale & Paul. They quickly identified the problem of the wrong tiles being fitted for the very shallow pitch of the roof and quoted to replace the roof with a modern (no mortar) roof as the only solution which would work. Communication throughout from first contact to completion of the job was excellent. They turned up when they had agreed too, or where a change was needed they contacted us in plenty of time to agree the change with us so we were not inconvenienced (Bad weather delayed the start slightly). All the team were very polite and considerate and worked hard to deliver a quick and high quality job. The new roof looks excellent, quality of construction is first class, and we have had no leaks despite some very hard rain. Given the great job the team have done I don't expect any leaks will happen in future, but if it should we also have their 10 year Company guarantee. During the Job & after the job was finished Dale made a point checking with us that we were completely happy with everything. Unquestionably the best trades company I have come across. Dale and Paul gave me very good service throughout from the initial consultation, pricing (which I thought was excellent value), booking in, works and follow up. The quality of the work was excellent, they tidied up each day and happily accommodated anything we asked them to. They arrived each day when they said they would and even stayed late one night to make sure the roof was weather tight before the beast from the east arrived. Dealing with Dale and the team was always very reassuring, and there was no suggestion of a different price for cash, which immediately gave me a lot of confidence in them as a business. I would certainly recommend them and would use again if I ever had a need to, but I doubt my new roof will be leaking again anytime soon!

After many hours wasted by 'roofers' letting me down, I was at the end of my tether when I came across D & P Roofing and Building. From the moment Dale and his colleague arrived to assess my roof, to the after-care follow-up messages, I was impressed with their customer care throughout (I didn't use 'customer service' as it felt a lot more personal than that). I knew substantial work needed doing to my 100+ year terrace roof, but other builders were quoting me for patch-up work; not what I wanted. Very easy to recommend D&P, Dale and team have a done few big and small jobs for us over the last 3 years. They have a great reputation through friends and family who have had work done by D&P over a number of years. When we recently had leaking roof tiles, even though they were busy, D&P came out on a Sunday to fix it.

Tried D&P after being let down by 2 other "reputable" builders, wish I'd have gone to D&P first. Dale kept me updated every step of the way. D&P are very competitive, honest (I left my door keys with them and they got on with the job unsupervised) and extremely hard working, staying late, if necessary, to ensure the job was finished. There doesn't appear to be anything these guys can't do, I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We contacted D&P to replace a damaged roof. They came out quickly to give a really competitive quote, then helped us choose the best materials and solution for the best result. At every stage of the job they were incredibly friendly and kept us informed. On top of that, the professionalism and quality of work was first class. I’d highly recommend them.

My partner and I needed a lot doing to our roof (ridge tiles, chimney, guttering etc) and gathered a few quotes from local tradesmen.
