D&P created a great impression from first contact through to completion. The repair involved making good some shoddy work done by a different roofer a few years ago and they were thorough and professional the whole time they were here, taking care to talk me through the work they were doing. No hidden extras, and they even did more than they quoted for, without charge. Cleaning and clearing up were exemplary. I will certainly call them again for any other roof work.

Work carried out to my property included the re-roofing of the main roof and the lower canopy roof of the house; the removal and replacement of existing fascia soffit and gutters to white fascia and soffit and black gutters; all external masonry was re-pointed and finally I had 3 flat roofs re-felted too. Really happy with the work carried out by D&P and would not hesitate to recommend them to others. All work was guaranteed for 10 years and the price quoted was the price charged and competitive when compared to the quotes I received from other companies. Thank you guys and should the need arise I will use D&P again in the future.

We live in a Lodge House that was built in the late 1890's and over the last 10 years have experienced various problems with leaks through the main gulley on a complex roof design. After several failed attempts at fixing the problem with various companies, Dale/Paul recommended a full lead replacement of the gulley. We were obviously nervous about the work and the cost, but Paul/Troy did a magnificent job and talked us through each stage of the operation. Since the completion of the job, we have been tested with torrential rain and so far, no leaks!! We would highly recommend D&P as efficient and reliable, and the attitude of the team to their work ethic and responsibility to finish on time and ensuring the place is cleaned up is the sign of a responsible trusted trader.

I am probably a tradesman's nightmare working as a surveyor in construction but every detail of work carried out by these lads was faultless - the pride they take in there work is un-rivalled - even to the point that the local building inspector (known for being particularly awkward) signed off the works in minutes and commented on the high standard of the work. In my 15 years in construction on major building sites and various experiences of renovating houses I must say I have never come across such a professional well organised builder. All work was completed in line with a very tight programme and despite Dale finding various issues with the existing roof (which he photographed to show us) he didn't charge us extra and also carried extra work in the tight programme. After some bad weather which didn't help them they worked all easter weekend to finish the works - even buying our children an Easter egg - which was a really nice unexpected touch. As an added complication one of our children has a chronic heart condition which can be made worse by dust so when we have had work done by others in the past we have to spend each night tidying up after them - but not with these lads - they hovered - mopped swept and left each night leaving the house spotless - I also entrusted them with keys to use the bathroom make tea coffee etc and they even replaced this at the end of the job! I can not recommend these guys enough and can say that after 15 years in building they are the best yet!

Dale and the team who work for him are really good roofers. They know their stuff and get on with the job in all weathers. Dale and Paul were great at working to solve a persistent leak in a low pitch roof extension. It wasn't an easy one to solve and they were willing to try a low cost option first, where other roofers just wanted to go straight to big money. The new roof was needed in the end but a tarp was put on instantly, they deducted the low cost trial from the final price and the quote was a good deal less than another trusted roofer we use. They work all hours and fitted our job in on a Saturday and Sunday to squeeze it in for us. Work has 5 year fitter's guarantee and it's very rainy this weekend and we're completely dry! Highly recommended.

You always wonder when people give 5 stars for everything, is it too good to be true? Well, we chose D&P Roofing because of the reviews on this site and I have to say they exceeded all my expectations. My mother is 86, living in an old stone cottage and we needed somebody trustworthy and reliable to replace the roof. They arrived when they said they would and did the work promptly, despite it being winter and with bouts of bad weather. We were impressed that they always kept as informed and if they thought variations to the original work were required, such as removing redundant chimneys or changes in materials, we were consulted and the pros and cons discussed before any work undertaken. Any questions or queries were dealt with promptly with phone calls being replied to often immediately. As a family we have no hesitation in recommending D and P Roofing and across-the-board five-star ratings were earned.

I would recommend this company. I've had a new roof put on by them, they worked very hard and are a nice set of workers very tidy and polite. nothing is to much trouble, I recommended them to two of my friend and they were very pleased with the final results. They built a porch for my next door neighbour brilliant job. Would use them again.

After employing numerous firms to resolve a leak issue with a chimney stack and a leaking box gutter on a conservatory, there was only D&P who spent time looking for the leaks in both areas and finally fixing them. Even though the issues weren't fixed in one visit Dale advised on the next course of action and Paul thoroughly undertook a painstaking job locating the leak on the box gutter and didn't leave our house until he was sure he had tracked and fixed the problem. We are pleased to say that after monitoring post heavy rainfall there are no further leaks. We highly recommend this company if you are looking for a team who are trustworthy, prompt and you want to be assured of good workmanship. Would definitely employ again.

Just had a complete re-roof, gutters and installation of skylight done by this firm. I'm very pleased with the standard of work both on the interior and exterior of the property. The sky light looks lovely and the plastering is excellent. The work was completed faster than I anticipated because the team worked in appalling weather and all weekend. Very hard working lads, also considerate and polite. All works were completed for the quoted price. When they hit a snag that meant the job would cost slightly more than they had anticipated they did not ask me for more money they simply absorbed the additional cost themselves. They have even ordered me a blind for the window and insisted on paying for it even when I offered the money as I hadn't thought to ask for one when they originally quoted. They sent Receipt and Warranty promptly by email upon completion of the work. Overall I'm very pleased that I chose this firm.

I am gas and heating engineer myself so I am always really picky about anyone i get to do work for me. From the first phone call I was really impressed with the great communication. From the initial request to come and give me a quote for the work, to checking that we were completely happy with everything afterwards and everything in between Dale always picked up or returned calls straight away and replied to texts promptly. I had a chimney removed, roof slated over. a new doorway fitted through a supporting wall , ridge tiles replaced, etc. The price was really fair, better than i was expecting to be honest and after meeting Dale I was more than happy for the work to go ahead, The guys turned up early and worked long days to get the work done. All the work was done as agreed, even a few bits extra that came up along the way for the agreed price which was really appreciated. The lads were tidy and cleaned up after themselves, taking all the rubbish away at the end of the job. The work was all done to a high standard and I'm pleased with everything I had done. I would definitely recommend Dale, Paul and the guys, and would use them again myself

I've now had two jobs done by D&P Roofing & Building and both were done to a really high standard. I've had some brickwork done and a roof repair and both were completed to a great standard and at a really good price. The lads cleared everything away after them and I'd definitely recommend them.

We choose this company based on previous reviews and we weren't disappointed. Initially we only wanted our front wall rebuilding but out of interest we asked for a quote for replacing our garage roof. The quote was very competitive so we decided to go ahead. All the team were polite and punctual and made sure that at the end of the day everything was tidy and cleaned up. The work that has been carried out, has been done professionally and I would not hesitate to recommend them. Great bunch of lads!

Never used this company previously, but was very impressed with their reviews on this site. They gave me a very competitive quote and agreed an early start date to prevent any further damage from a badly leaking roof. The work was carried out very professionally in poor weather and was completed to a very high standard. The guys were all very polite and got the job done in good time despite fighting the elements. On completion everything was cleaned up and left in better order than they found it. All in all a 5 star job and I would not hesitate to use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone seeking honest and value for money builders.

D & P recently replaced the roof tiles etc., on our chalet bungalow. All the work was completed as agreed at the price agreed, and we were kept informed at every stage. Over the years we have had work done in the various homes we have owned and therefore have seen a procession of various workmen and would certainly put D & P's workers as 'up there' with the very best, and would therefore have no hesitation in recommending them.

Provided a detailed quote for the work , this was kept to despite them completing several other tasks. They arrived to complete the job on the day that they stated. I can't praise D&P enough for their work. They were one of three roofing quotes I received, which was by far the best for what I wanted from my garage roof replacement. They were able to fit my job in within a fortnight of coming out to view the situation. The team worked throughout the day during a heatwave which made the work more difficult, but they never asked for nor accepted a drink or food, they came fully prepared beforehand and just got on with the task at hand, and when the weather turned meaning they couldn't complete the job fully, they came back on the next clear day and finished the work, while sticking to the original quote. They removed all the materials afterwards, and even cleaned the garage door of the cobwebs that had been turned black during the roof installation. Lads were friendly throughout. A big plus for me is communication. I've paid £3000 for laser eye surgery and never had any contact since to ask how I am or anything. D&P meanwhile were in constant contact to manage the quote, inspection, and answer any questions I had, and were able to deal with last minute requests by myself as well. As an inexperienced homeowner, hiring someone I could trust to work on my home was difficult and daunting, but I feel I made the right choice in D&P, they made it a pleasant experience. Couldn't ask for more, and my new roof not only looks fantastic, its been successfully tested by the heavy rain since.

The team from D&P Roofing & Building did a great job laying new roof and doing some brick-works. They were always easy to contact even before work started and very informative. They encountered some issues with really bad states of neighbourhood's roofs but the price stayed as agreed. I couldn't have asked for a better service at a very reasonable price.
