I found myself messed around with other builders and came across DP Services. Darrell came round when he said he would, I had a quote a few days later which I was happy with and work started 3 weeks later. Both Darrell and Dan were both lovely guys who did a great job which finished with plastering a bedroom and a couple of extra ceilings. They tidied up at the end of every day and you would never of known they were there. I sit back now thinking I’m so pleased that nothing happened with the other companies as my situation now could be so different, thanks guys.

DP services were very professional completing all work to a high standard, assisting with additional requests where possible and suggesting the best ways to overcome any problems, not necessarily the easiest. They also were very engaging with our young son, going above and beyond to make him comfortable with the change going on in the house. Would definitely use again.

Darrell & Dan completed a full kitchen refurb for us which included a lot of structural work. Removing a chimney, taking out walls & putting in steel. They made great adaptions to our original plans that didn’t quite work due to unforeseen issues with a wall, and made me a bespoke chimney area over my cooker. They both worked really hard. Their standard of work is superb & they really made the whole job seamless and stress free for us. We maintained access to a sink and washing machine throughout. There was no snagging list after as the quality of their work was maintained throughout the whole job. They tidied up and hoovered at the end of every day. Nothing was too much trouble and they kindly put up my kitchen blind, shelf & a picture. We can highly recommend them and will be asking them to come back to do our bathroom. Both guys are very friendly and we enjoyed having them about. They stayed true to their quote for the works completed. Work started 8 Aug. Completed 12 September

Darrell and Dan started my 3 extensions at the beginning of January 2024 and today is their last day. I have to say that right from day 1 they have kept me informed on everything that was going on and with their stage payments I knew exactly how much I would have to pay and when, unless I came up with an upgrade which was quoted for at the time. No hidden surprises, really good quality work and lovely guys.

We have used Darrell several times, latterly to repaint the exterior of our house. It is 3 story's with certain areas not very accessible, so not the easiest to paint. Darrell did an excellent job, completed it on time and is extremely friendly. We even had one of our neighbours asking for his contact details they were so impressed. Highly recommended!

The work carried out was done throughout in a professional way, they turned up punctually and on the the dates agreed, the workmanship is of high quality and any adjustments during the work were carried out without any problems, we would not hesitate to recommend them, we have already commissioned them to do a shower room in the future. Nothing is to much trouble and they were very polite throughout and nothing seems phase them.

From the moment I contacted Darrel for our project prices through the very drawn out insurance process to starting and completing this insurance reinstatement work for our family property recently vacated by my elderly step-mum, all following a water leak from the property above, his service was excellent. With me living 135 miles away from the property and the involvement of the insurance company's loss adjuster and a local project manager added to the work complications but Darrel took them all in his stride. The workmanship was very good without exception, where miscommunication over the long distant created the inevitable errors, Darrel was very customer focused in suggesting resolution options and advice to keep the project moving forward and costs contained, the same was true for the inevitable building issues identified during the project progression. I found I could rely on Darrel completely to do the right thing. Darrel's pricing was very competitive from the outset and throughout the project, and he was always willing to consider changes to the project as it developed, accommodate last minute extras and even get other trades outside of construction to help me prepare the property for habitation again. I couldn't recommend Darrel and his team more than to say I wish he was local to my home instead of 135 miles away, as I'd use him for any project - large or small. I was very impressed throughout and I can't recommend him highly enough.

We have used DP Services twice - firstly in 2018 to paint the outside windows and doors of our property and this year to paint and repair the exterior of our garage/stable block. On both occasions the work was carried out to an excellent standard and the site was left clean and tidy. Dan and his team are very personable and we would highly recommend them. We will certainly use the company for any further work we may have.

From the first visit for the quote to the end of the job we were really impressed with Dan and the team. We had a water tank leak in our loft and the upstairs ceilings needed replacing along with complete redecorating. Dan was able to advise us on what would work best with the work that needed doing and was even able to get rid of the old fashioned glass panels above all of the doorways. Despite being very busy he was able to get the ceilings up asap to ensure the house was warm before the winter and then came back to complete the work once they had a slot. The communication was brilliant so we knew when they were coming for each part of the work. The quality of work is excellent and the house was spotless at the end of every day. The work included plastering, coving, skirting boards, and decorating. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and we are so pleased with the work.

DP Services come highly recommended and with good reason. They provide an excellent service, stick to the agreed schedule and to the agreed quote. Darrell and his team were very easy to work with, listened well, understood our requirements and offered solutions where needed. Their work included pointing two patios and repointing a third and we are delighted with the results. They also successfully dealt with persistent cracking around windows and on several internal ceilings and walls, where two other companies had failed. We would highly recommend DP Services and thank them for the great work they did for us.

I highly recommend D.P services after they have completed our single storey extension, kitchen & cloakroom. Totally genuine, reliable, hard working team. Kept within our budget & kept their work areas as tidy as possible. The work carried out has been done to an exceptional high standard and we are so pleased with how it’s turned out. With COVID putting a massive delay on the work and having a small baby in the mix didn’t come without its challenges. Darrell & Dan & his collaboration of other colleagues were totally respectful & we became quite fond of having them around!

We're absolutely thrilled with our new kitchen/dining room, thanks to Darrell and Dan who brought it to life. From start to finish, they were professional, efficient, clean and impressively well-organized. Time frames given were spot on and they remained reassuring and proactive when an unsuspecting problem arose with the stopcock. Darrell and Dan's attention to detail and commitment to quality were evident in every stage of the build and we couldn’t be happier with the results—highly recommended!

I was previously scammed by a Rouge Trader late July 2015,and left with a part completed Driveway. I was fortunate enough to observe D P Services in the process of preparing and then laying a Block Driveway near by to my property.I was confident that D P Service would do an excellent job in relaying my Drive, if I could only manage to get them to take on the work.They gave me a detailed quote and time frame they said they would have to start from scratch because of the unknown condition of previous traders work. The quote was accepted and work started mid October 2015,by now I knew all about the correct procedure laying a Block paved Driveway.D P Services worked to the letter and I soon knew my hunch was correct.Work progressed steadily.They did every thing I asked for and more working to their time frame .The final result was show quality standard, far better than I ever expected.I have little hesitation at recommending Darrell and Andy to my many friends.

Excellent job, was finished to a very high standard.. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a builder. Very friendly, and it was a pleasure having them around. Our extension turned out better than we could have imagined, thanks to Darrell and Andy and all their hard work. Will definitely be using them again if we need something doing.

We needed some exterior painting done. Not a large job. Darrell came and gave a quote very promptly and seemed very pleasant and professional. The quote followed within 24 hours and was very reasonable. The work itself - just a couple of days - was done by Dan. What a super young man. Very personable, courteous, professional, and a tremendously industrious and efficient worker. Everything about this business is extremely professional. A proper modern van, sign-written, including company name and landline phone number. They wear polo shirts with the company name on, and the Which Trusted Trader logo (which is also on the van) which is most reassuring. The work was done very quickly and efficiently, and to a high standard. In summary: faultless, in every way.
