This was the first building work we have ever had done and we couldn't be happier. We found DP Services through Which, and the great reviews were totally right. Darrell and Andy were a pleasure to have around - friendly, professional and great workmanship on everything they did from brickwork to plastering to joinery. Prices were very reasonable and they made sure we were satisfied with each step of the job. Everyone they worked with for the electrical and plumbing work were equally as friendly and competent. The finished garage conversion and new driveway are fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone needing any building work done. We will use DP Services again without doubt. First class and a credit to their profession.

From first meeting Darrell we found him to honest and very personable, his ability to listen to what we wanted done was very professional, he was more than willing to explain what could be done and what was feasible, extremely knowledgeable. The work carried out was to a fantastic standard, nothing too much trouble, very reliable, always arrived on time and cleared up at the end of the day. I cannot praise Darrell and his team enough, considerate, polite and efficient, with a good sense of humour. We will use them again in the future to do further work for us. I would not hesitate in recommending them to others.

Darrell and Dan removed an archway, plastered the walls, fitted our new kitchen and tiled. The result was excellent, with the work being completed to a very high standard and it was a pleasure to have them in the house. They gave good advice, were helpful, totally reliable, thoughtful and considerate, always clearing up carefully at the end of each day. We have no reservations whatsoever in recommending them and will happily call on them in the future.

Darrell and Andy removed the door and window in our kitchen and breakfast room respectively, and carried out the necessary work so that new ones could be relocated in different positions. They were very friendly and helpful, fitted around the carpenter, made good afterwards, and did an excellent job. We are very impressed by the final look to the rooms and would not hesitate to use DP Services again.

Over the past two years, DP Services has completed two projects for us. In 2017 Darrell and his associate installed a new kitchen, and this year he and his son Dan have built and equipped a small extension for use as a utility room. For each project we have nothing but praise for the professionalism and high standard of workmanship provided by DP Services, including the Electrician and Plumber. Everything was completed on time and to our satisfaction. Any issues were resolved satisfactorily. Darrell and his associates were talented, friendly and helpful. We heartily recommend DP Services.

I have worked with DP Services before refurbishing a bathroom and kitchen, adding a Utility Room and Den from the old garage. There planning, organisation and work are excellent. This time it was my driveway. I wanted something different which took some time to source. Darrell spent a lot of time sorting this out for me, twice acquiring the cobbles only to have them sold. I live on the main road so the organisation is essential. All involved with the work are kind and caring, thoughtful of neighbours and my home. The site is always cleared at the end of the day leaving the site tidy. They created a path for me to walk off my property and anyone to access it. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

DP Services have provided an excellent job on our home from start to finish from plastering, painting, fitting a new kitchen, bathroom,new staircase, new doors, garage conversion and so much more, everyone involved has been so helpful in there field of work and Darrell has project managed the work from start to finish so we haven't had to worry about anything, its been a pleasure to have them on site, the transformation is amazing, we never thought it could look this nice, every room in the house in first class and the garden is simply amazing, they have gone above and beyond to finish each job to a time scale provided in there quote at a fare price and leaving the site clean and tidy too after each job, i would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants a great job done. Well done to you all, its been a long job but so worth it. Thankyou to everyone involved in making this a wonderful home to live in.

We have now used DP Services a couple of times. Firstly to re fit our kitchen and hallway to include everything - eg taking out the old kitchen and making good, plastering, painting, timing, flooring and they arrived when they said they would, they were v friendly and always tidied up at the end of each day. They did a great job and were very professional at all times. We then got them back to do our driveway. They fitted us in quickly as we needed it doing ASAP to enable us to put the house on the market and they worked really hard to get it done and it looks amazing

Couldn’t be more pleased with this kitchen. Finished to a high standard. Turned up sharp every morning and very clean and tidy at the end of the day. Helped to source a couple of items that didn’t fit and collected from other side of Reading. Finished on time and on budget. Highly recommend Darrell and Dan!!

DP Services came to view our property to quote for external decoration of all woodwork for house and garage. We were impressed with their professional approach and before they had time to provide their quotation we contacted them for emergency help with a leak. They responded very quickly and saved the day. Shortly after they fitted new units and a belfast sink in the Utility Room. They returned in June to paint the exterior woodwork of the house and garage, taking off the guttering and replacing it with new parts where necessary. Darrell and Dan went the extra mile to replace broken soffits, repair drainage and fit new cabin hooks to French Windows. The standard of their work was extemely high and we are delighted with the result, only wishing we had discovered them sooner! They were a pleasure to have around and we have no hesitation in recommending them.

Darrell and Dan created a wonderful family space in our new house: knocking down walls, installing beams, installing our new kitchen, new doors, floors and painting as well as putting back ceilings across the house. They did a brilliant job: we are so pleased and helped to create our dream family space! Darrell kept us in touch with every decision, noticing problems in advance and coming to us with solutions, helping out with advice for various bits of work and prompting us to sort the building services so we could get a completion certificate. Both Darrell and Dan were friendly, professional and left the house clean and tidy despite the big jobs they were doing. We cannot recommend them enough - Thank you for all your hard work!

Darrell and his team were amazing from start to finish. They worked on our Victorian terraced house and they transformed it into our dream home. Darrell was very knowledgeable about everything. He and his team always turned up on time and communicated with us throughout the project. They painted the whole house including doors, windows, and radiators, and they even managed to give a new lease of life to some of our old built-in wardrobes. Darrell took his time to listen to what we wanted and he came up with the best solutions for our problems. We also had herringbone laminate flooring put down throughout the whole house and Darrell advised us on different options, he even went to look at some for us and helped us to choose the best option for what we wanted. We decided to paint all the radiators at the last minute and he wanted to make sure they did the best job so he even invested in specialist equipment for a high-end finish. We have been very particular about the colors and the finish we wanted and Darrell sourced the exact paint and colors. All the paintwork was done to perfection. They corrected all the cracks and holes and made everything look new. Darrell and his team are real perfectionists. Paul did all of our electrics. We've had spots installed throughout the house, new sockets, and outside lighting. Paul is also very knowledgeable and he`s done an excellent job. He is also happy to listen to your ideas. Darrell and his turned up on time every day, they worked throughout the hottest days of summer, and they`ve always communicated with us and kept us updated. They had a positive attitude throughout the renovation and even though we asked for extra bits they never said no. They are the builders you are happy to see every day and you just don`t want them to leave. We felt so lucky that we`ve found Darrell and his team we now regard them as friends, they`ve made all our visions come true and transformed our house into a home. We just can`t thank them enough and already hoping that we can have them back at some point for further home improvements.

We were looking for a reliable trustworthy company to refit our kitchen / dining room, we found exactly that when recommended to DP Services. From the first time I met Darrell I found him to be straightforward and knowledgeable about all aspects of building and home renovation work, along with Dan they have a vast range of skills across all trades to complete our project which they did to a very high standard and to our total satisfaction. They used a Gas Safe plumber and qualified electrician to work on those aspects of the job where required. Work included, ripping out existing kitchen / tiles including replacing the subfloor ready for new flooring. Fitting new kitchen, renewing all existing plumbing including a new mains stopcock and outside tap, repairing leaking internal Soil Stack, re-plastering, rewiring electrical sockets, laid new vinyl flooring, decorating and installing and oiling 3 new Oak internal doors to a very high standard. I really can't praise Darrell and Dan highly enough, Darrell planned the job so we were able to take delivery of the kitchen into the space they had made ready, they even came and supervised the delivery from Howdens, they made several modifications where the kitchen didn't fit to specification and returned and collected items from Howdens as required. Darrell also personally oversaw the planning and installation of the quartz worktops by Howdens. Nothing was too much trouble and I thank them both personally for a great job, very pleased.

We used DP Services to complete some internal / structural works in our kitchen / dining room. Darrell and the team were fantastic. They provided good advice before the works, completed the work on time and to budget. Attention to detail and quality of finish was to a very high standard. They also left the house very clean and tidy each evening. Highly recommended.

I needed a small (one day) repair job on a wall/window which was letting in water. DP Services came out promptly to assess the work (fitting a half lintel and repointing), gave a competitive quote, and kindly fitted me in before the weather turned bad. Darrell & Dan (father & son) were highly professional and friendly, completed the work on time and to a high standard, and cleaned up properly afterwards. It feels very reassuring to know a trusted builder and they will be my first port of call for any future work.

I can't recommend Darrell and Dan enough as they ticked every single box. Friendly, helpful, tidy, accommodating and punctual, they were a pleasure to have work in the house for three weeks and the whole family was a little sad to see them go when they'd finished. The quality of their work was exemplary and where they brought in additional trades they managed everything efficiently and smoothly. I'm looking forward to getting them back in for the next job and a massive thanks to them both for our fantastic new kitchen.

I employed DP Services to plaster four bedrooms. Darrell and Dan arrived early every day and worked hard completing the work to an excellent standard on schedule and as per the quoted price. As follow on activity I employed DP to replace my existing roof tiles with new. Again, early starts and two weeks solid graft meant that they completed the work on schedule and on budget. Minor additions identified during construction were included at a reasonable agreed additional price. Great communication and hard workers. I am happy to recommend DP Services based on my experience.

DP property services. I would highly recommend DP services, they were always on time very pleasant to talk to they always listen to your concerns. The workmanship was to a very high standard and was within budget.

I was referred to DP Services through a very good friend. The approach they used to renovate my house was both professional and courteous, advising me on any issues when they arrived. Extremely well organised from start to finish, from quotation to completion. They have transformed what was once a loving but dated home to a loving modern home, one which I shall cherish for the rest of my life. In fact, I was sorry to see them go, I only wish I had more properties for them to renovate. They started off as workmen hired to do a job but ended up friends who I would recommend to anyone. Daryl and Dan, thank you so much for the work you have done. This has been an emotional project as you well know. You both will always be welcome in my home.

I found myself messed around with other builders and came across DP Services. Darrell came round when he said he would, I had a quote a few days later which I was happy with and work started 3 weeks later. Both Darrell and Dan were both lovely guys who did a great job which finished with plastering a bedroom and a couple of extra ceilings. They tidied up at the end of every day and you would never of known they were there. I sit back now thinking I’m so pleased that nothing happened with the other companies as my situation now could be so different, thanks guys.
