We are absolutely delighted to have chosen DS bathrooms for our recent refurbishment! Reading the positive reviews was important in our selection, and similar to other reviewers, we cannot recommend DS Bathrooms, and importantly, Darren and Rob, highly enough! Regarding Darren and Rob. They are highly skilled at their trade. True professionals, from start to finish. Arriving on time, dedicated to their work rather than rushing, and ensuring the area is clean at the end of each day, important for our toddler. There were no delays and work was completed inside the timeframe. Both were very courteous and polite at all times. Darren took us through the initial design and planning phase, offering a design and layout that we hadn’t considered (and are thankful for). Every aspect of the design was explained clearly and any questions invited. We immediately felt confident in choosing DS Bathrooms, and that did not change through out the process. All subsequent communication was straightforward and timely. Pricing: Open and clear, fair pricing, unlike a quote from a large bathroom provider, when the seemingly high price was suddenly dropped by 20% when we declined (and still excessive). The quality of work is fantastic and finish perfect. Our bathroom far exceeds our initial hopes. Our bathroom wasn’t a particularly large space (2m x 2m) but they made perfect use of the space and it now feels bigger and brighter. Thank you, Darren and Rob, for giving us our dream bathroom!!

What can I say, other than WOW!! I contacted Darren in July 2024 as someone had seen his work and recommended him to us. When Darren came out to see us, he told us immediately that his lead time was 8 months and because of the recommendation and having read other reviews and seeing the photographs, I knew DS Bathrooms was the one for us and was more than happy to wait. He came and measured up and provided a 360 of what our bathroom would look like once done. We had a bit of building work to knock down the wall between what was a separate toilet and bathroom which absolutely gave us more space than we’d imagined. Darren and Rob are true professionals as well as really lovely guys. They never stopped from the start of their day till the end and each morning we were asked if we had any questions which quelled any concerns we may have had. We absolutely adore our bathroom and would 100% recommend Darren and Rob (DS Bathrooms).

Darren and Rob completed renovating our two en-suites this week. The products and finish are fantastic. We had 2 bog standard new build en-suites and now have 2 fantastic-looking rooms. Darren came out last year and ran through our requirements he produced excellent CADs of how he would remodel the two rooms, and timescales. They agreed on the agreed date to start the work and each day went through the progress. Darren and Rob were efficient and very tidy, leaving minimal cleaning on completion. The final products surpassed our expectations. I would highly recommend DS BATHROOMS.

An initial visit led to a thoughtful new design. Materials were chosen and a date set to start the work. The job was completed on schedule and on budget. Darren and Rob’s attitude and work was top-notch. Throughout, on-going communication was excellent. One unexpected problem was systematically found then dealt with. I would highly recommend the firm.

Darren and Rob completing my bathroom refurb was so challenging and what they have achieved is nothing short of a miracle. As with most 1900 properties we have become accustomed to finding hidden problems, but when this bathroom was stripped and gutted it became apparent that an unknown leak had caused a lot of problems and a decision was made to replace the floor and repair all the walls. I knew I could trust Darren from viewing his previous work but the end result was spectacular and everything was done to the highest of standards. At the start of each day I was updated on what was being done and the same again at the end of the day on the progress. Their work ethic is outstanding and I forgot to ask Rob what his step count was As he never stops. There is a reason Darren has a long waiting list but you will not be disappointed and the wait is worth it as he is skilled in his craft, going above and beyond. I was particularly impressed with both Darren and Rob ensuring my home was kept clean and tidy as could be with such a big job.

We contacted Darren after reading his website reviews. His response was prompt. We arranged a day and time for him to call. He arrived on the agreed day and on time. Once Darren had looked and discussed with us in great detail what we wanted, he advised he would show us a selection of tiles and flooring. He also gave us various additional accessory options. I found his honest approach very refreshing, as opposed to other bathroom installers who just agree to everything, knowing it will never work. Although we had to wait 9 months, he was extremely busy, it was definitely worth it. Both Darren and Rob worked professionally, methodically and very cleanly. Darren explained what he had done and what he was going to do, daily. He always asked if we had any questions and if we were happy, they were both very respectful of our home. We had a small drip which seemed to be coming from under the sink, I emailed Darren late Thursday evening, he immediately phoned me, bare in mind this is two years after the installation, and arranged to call around asap. Had this been more than a drip he would have called that evening, that is the level of his customer service that he provides, exceptional. He took time out of his busy workload and called the following evening and repaired the drip. I would not use any other company for a bathroom installation other than Darren, I can’t recommend D S Bathrooms enough, if I could award more than 5 stars I would. Exceptional.

Just WOW. I contacted Darren in March 2024, he was upfront straight away advising of his lead in time. I assured him I was happy to wait following the reviews and photos I had seen from his previous installations. He came and measured up and provided a 360 of what our bathroom would look like once done and the price. We (although hubby didn't really get much of a say!!) agreed to go ahead, picked our tiles and little extras and fast forward 8 months to November 24 it was our install week. Darren contacted me to advise all was still on track and he would see us on the Monday morning. Darren and Rob treated our home like their own, shoes off while putting the protective covering down on our floors and stairs and then they set to work, they never stopped (I'm not even sure they stop for lunch to be fair 😆). At the end of each day Darren showed me what they had done and asked if I had any questions. First thing the next morning he checked to see if there were any further questions before starting work for the day. 4 days and we had our bathroom installed, no mess and our old bathroom stacked neatly on our front garden to be collected on the Friday. I absolutely adore our bathroom and would 100% recommend Darren and Rob (DS Bathrooms) for any bathroom installations....so much so, I'm ready for him to come and price up our en-suite. They are first class and very professional lads. Thank you 😀

Darren was professional from the start. His expert advise on style and materials was invaluable in choosing our new style bathroom. Both Darren and Rob were quick, hard working and very clean. I love my new wet room, it was definitely worth the long wait.

We were blown away by the total transformation of our old bathroom which Darren fitted with great care and enthusiasm in 2022. Excellent attention to detail and such a great finish. Two years on my lovely bathroom still looks exactly as it did when first fitted and I can appreciate the small details that I didn’t notice straight away such as all the tiles are perfectly in line, the grouting finish has not tarnished and still looks faultless. I recommend DS Bathrooms 100% and would not hesitate to use them again when we eventually move to another house.

From start to finish we’ve been blown away with Darren’s relentless passion to make our refurb something spectacular. Never would I have envisaged it could be so amazing. When we first met Darren we knew he was the person we wanted to refurbish our bathroom, as he immediately arranged for us to view in person one of his previous refurbs close to where we live. This in itself was a true testament to how confident he was in his mastery, and wow did his previous client who we met sing his praises. We agreed to move forward and every step of the way felt confident and supported with our choices. When the time came to start the project Darren & Rob were extremely professional and respectful of our house. To see their excitement for the project and how hard they both worked to get the job done working within the time constraints of what we’d asked was outstanding. The end result was nothing short of miraculous. We are all completely in awe of their work and would have no hesitation recommending them to anyone looking for a high quality bathroom refurbishment.
