We were so pleased we waited for Doug's team to become available after three different people had recommended them to us. The wait was well worth it. The work was done within the schedule and price was as quoted. He has a great team of experienced tradesmen working for him and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him if you were thinking of having any building work done. D S Mead Ltd constructed a garden room to replace a conservatory. The work was carried out from June to September. From start to finish, we received courteous service and we kept well informed as to progress. The work is of a high standard and we are very pleased with the result. Every single tradesmen who did work here was highly skilled and friendly. Doug did a great job.

I have used this firm for several building jobs and they have done me proud. Most recently I used them for a large renovation which has been done beautifully. They are easy to get on with and very reliable, i.e. they turned up when they said they would and got everything done by the agreed deadline. I have used DS Mad Builders for several projects, some at my place of work and some at my home. Each time I have a project I get a few quotes t compare prices, advice and timescales. Each time I have chosen DS Mead as they have both quoted the best price and quoted the best timeframe. Each contract has worked out as agreed in terms of costs and time taken. I have been particularly impressed with the quality of the finished work and the tidy way in which the team have worked. Nothing seems to be to much hassle for them - they have always been willing to discuss the job and consider changes as the projects have gone along. Some jobs have been very large scale but unlike some of the other firms I have spoken to, they have also been very willing to do small scale jobs as well, such as fixing things. I am happy to recommend them and would certainly use them in the future.
