We’ve been customers of DW Dunn since 2014, when we bought our weekend home in Lechlade, Gloucestershire. Over the years they have serviced our boiler and heating system regularly, handled emergency call‑outs, and completed scheduled upgrades and repairs — always to an excellent standard. Because we’re only at the house on weekends, we rely on DW Dunn to work unsupervised, and they have earned that trust completely. They diagnose issues accurately, provide clear and fair estimates, and carry out the work promptly. They’re also great at coordinating with other trades, and their office team communicates efficiently by phone and email, which makes everything very easy. We only wish they would expand their service to London — nothing comparable here. Highly recommended.

We recently moved to an area with very hard water so wanted to install a water softener. Andy came and visited. He gave a full explanation of the available options and how they work, with no pressure to choose one option over another. Quote was received the same day. The install was scheduled for around two weeks later. The fitter has done a really nice job and left everything looking very tidy. Overall very professional and worth using.

I've been a customer of Dw Dunn for over 20 years now and they've always give me exemplary service. I had to call them out on a bank holiday Saturday weekend and the engineer arrived within two hours of the phone call and fixed the problem with the boiler after 45 minutes of intensive work. Their engineers are enormously efficient and the office back-up seems to work incredibly efficiently even outside office hours. They are highly focused on getting the job done and done well.

Contacted this company as they had been recommended on our new development WhatsApp group. Very prompt visit to property, explaining all the options. Quote received the same day for Softener, water filter & replacement tap and fitted on 13th February 2026. Fitting was done vey well. Very polite and tidied up the plumbing mess we had inherited with the new build. Very pleased with the service and would recommend company to others.

I recently experienced a problem with my oil-fired boiler and was advised by a friend to contact DW Dunn Ltd, what a great referral that turned out to be! Everyone I've dealt with have been so professional, polite and helpful Their initial visit was for some remedial work but we soon discovered that as my boiler was quite aged it would be more economically wise to consider replacing it. After a visit from Andy and a full explanation on what was involved I decided to take this course of action The engineers who came to fit the boiler, Dan and his assistant Tyler arrived on the said day and were quite brilliant in all that they had to do, so knowledgeable, friendly, clean and tidy, it was a pleasure to have them around, and everything was satisfactorily completed in the allocated time It's a natural conclusion therefore, that if I experience any boiler problems in future and for my annual servicing, I shall call DW Dunn Ltd, they are an exceptional company

We have used DW Dunn on a number of occasions, most recently to diagnose a high pitched hum in the water system every time hot water was drawn. The MD of DW Dunn, Andy Harper, visited and was able to identify the problem, that the noise is described as "water hammer" and that it would be easily rectified by installing new ball-cocks in the cold water tanks. One of his plumbers, Dan, arrived at the house on the appointed day and the appointed time and completed the work. Dan is an excellent ambassador for the company - efficient, effective, professional, personable with very good interpersonal skills. Once the work had been completed he ensured that when hot water was drawn there was no longer any "high pitched hum". Satisfied customer.

Our oil boiler started to make unusual noises so I asked for a visit from an engineer from our usual servicing company (DW Dunn). Of course the noise went away before he arrived. The engineer (Dan) spent quite a lot pf time diagnosing the problem (I had a recording of the unusual noise). He then fully explained the situation with us and suggested a plan of action. The whole situation was very well and quickly handled by the company.

We had a number of issues to address. kitchen tap needing replacement, lavatories not flushing properly, water softener service, header tank leaking etc. All was put in order with the minimum fuss in just 90 minutes. The plumber was polite and efficient and came in well under budget. He obviously knew his trade - well done indeed.

On first call (for a non urgent look at water softner) their man arrived in half an hour. Exceptional! Recommended a solution to water softner with boiler service and heating system review. Quoted a price. Later that day the rang to confirm date. Arrived on time. 2 very experience guys, very helpful, very knowledgeable and very clean and tidy workers. The expert advice was fantastic and very helpful. Completed on time and on quoted budget. Faultless. Would highly recommend.

I have used DW Dunn for ten years. They continue to provide excellent service. I called them yesterday to report a fault on a boiler. It was booked in immediately for a few days later but in the end one of their engineers dropped in on their way back home at the end of the day and did the repair. That shows great service and clearly a good company to work for if their engineers are prepared to go that extra mile at the end of a day.

We recently moved to the Cotswolds and needed a new water softener as part of our refurb. Andy was punctual and gave us all the information we needed to make the decision to proceed. The team at DW Dunn were exceptional, the preliminary pipework was fitted quickly to enable us to go ahead and fit new flooring, units and decorate etc. they then returned many weeks later to fit the new water softener without any problems at all. The whole team were so accommodating of our needs and we found the entire process stress free due to the efficient service from them. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, they were superb.

DW Dunn Ltd provided an amazing service. From calling late on Thursday afternoon with a flood coming through downstairs due to guests over filling the bathtub, they came round first thing on Friday to quickly source the issue and seal the overflow pipe. The team were so polite, efficient and professional - from the office who took my call to the plumber who fixed the leak - they were really friendly and helpful and the price was very reasonable. I can’t recommend them more highly. I will certainly use them again in the future. Fantastic service from a brilliant team.

We had a water softener installed,Andy gave a clear explanation of how the system worked including bring equipment to demonstrate how the system works. Having agreed to purchase the system,we had an appointment made quickly for installation. Dan installed it,he was very professional. We’ve used DW Dunn several times and I wouldn’t work with any other plumbing firm now. They’ve done multiple jobs for us; new boiler, radiators, taps etc. They have just done all the plumbing work for our new kitchen and once again they’ve been amazing. I have used D W Dunn for years now to fix things, put in a boiler, service my boiler and any heating or water emergency. In my new house switching in the hot water also switched on the radiators. They came the same day and replaced the valve and all works fine. Their staff are friendly and reliable. I can highly recommend them.

We use DW Dunn for our boiler annual boiler maintenance. Our old system was over 30 years old still working but seemed the right time to change. Andy came to assess the best options for our size of house and gave us a very detailed quotation for a replacement. We also requested new thermostat valves on the radiators and the whole system drained and flushed through. Andy recommended a Worcester Bosch Greenstar Dansemoor External Combi . The engineers were a great team, led by Dan with Dean,Dan,and Kieran they were all extremely professional,polite and very pleasant to have in our house, nothing was too much trouble. Dan thought through each stage of the installation systematically and explained everything extremely conscientious. The team took great pride in their work. We are delighted with the outcome it’s been in a month since installation,we have a toasty warm house, every room is now very controllable with an efficient external boiler certainly using less oil also very quiet . I had a water softener, water cartridge with three way tap, and an outside tap providing hard water for the garden all installed. The excellent initial survey by Andy provided all the relevant detail necessary for me to make a decision on my requirement and price. I had some installation concerns but Andy made me feel very confident that nothing was too much trouble and the installation would be very straightforward. Dan and Kieran arrived as planned and on time on the installation day and proceeded to carry out a first class job. The end result was very pleasing and very tidy. All rubbish was removed, the appliances put back in situ, and the utility room cleaned. The guys were pleasant and very helpful, taking me through the various water controls etc as well as the reordering process for salt and water cartridge. I was very pleased with the results and great service and would certainly recommend D W Dunn.
