I had repair work done on my slate roof, a chimney repaired with new lead works and repointing to a gable and chimney, a garage reroofed and TLX silver fixed to my loft area. I am entirely satisfied with the quality of the work. The team were polite, friendly and professional at all times. They are clearly skilled and they take pride and care in the work they do. The jobs were competitively priced and I highly recommend them.

We had a flat roof and all main roof guttering replaced a while back and more recently new soffits fitted by Daniels Roofing. The team, led by Vernon, were friendly, polite, tidy and efficient. We did have a few small issues with the new guttering after completion but Vernon responded quickly every time to rectify the problem. We found their pricing very fair compared to their competitors and the ten year guarantee is good to have. Overall a good experience with a company that provides a quality job at a fair price and which responds to its customers quickly.

All companies, and not just roofing companies, should aspire to the standard offered by Daniels Roofing. Friendly, polite, prompt, efficient and skilled workers. They did a temporary repair to the flat roof of our loft extension, damaged in the recent storms, and completed the work sooner than expected. I thought the estimate was good value and the final bill was even less. I watched these roofers re-roof a house opposite a few years ago and it looks as good as new today. Daniels Roofing has a 5 star rating across the board and it’s thoroughly deserved. Highly recommended.

We are delighted with the recent work carried out by Daniels Roofing. The storm had damaged the roof tiling. They were quick to respond to my enquiry and gave a quote promptly. The team replaced the damaged ridge tiles, checked/treated the battens and secured other tiles. They also cleared all the guttering. The roofing work was conducted efficiently and I believe to a high quality. Recommended!

In an age of no replies and general unreliability, the roof repairs done by Daniels Roofing were exemplary. Works carried out as quotation (and below). Secured all missing and damaged tiles, and replaced them with matching tiles. Flat roof defects repaired and all debris removed and roof sealed with fibre gum. Arrived on time. work completed by 5 persons in under 2 hours. All areas access cleaned and site left in perfect condition.

I cannot speak too highly of Daniels Roofing. Despite the fact that theirs was the cheapest estimate I received, all of them from Which? Trusted Traders, the job they did was superb. They installed an Icopal flat roof, with insulation, lead flashings and renewed pointing on the retaining walls and chimney stack. The delivery came on 13 April 2021, Vernon, the likeable, communicative and competent project manager arrived early with his crew on the 14th and all was done and dusted by the 15th. Vernon even brought in some slates to replace damaged ones on our main roof. This was an extraordinary act of unsolicited kindness, for which there was no charge. The roofers, as well as being hardworking and absolutely proficient, impressed us and all our neighbours by their genial manner and their consideration. No shouting or bad language, no radio - quite different from many. I would have written this review soon after the departure of the roofers were it not for the delay in receiving certification of the work done. This was not in any way the fault of Daniels Roofing, and it is not likely to be a problem for any future client of theirs. And, I must confess, could still have got down to this testimony long ago. My apologies, but I was rather busy. I should like to thank Sean Daniels, Nina and all those with whom I was in contact at Daniels Roofing for their invariable courtesy and efficiency. I have no hesitation in recommending Daniel Roofing.

Having used Daniel before (drainage repair, chimney repointing, gutter cleaning), I didn’t hesitate to contact them again after the most recent July storm damaged some of my old slate roof. Even though they were extremely busy, Daniel and his crew made time to see the roof and conduct the repair as it was an emergency and my roof was leaking in my attic. They did a fantastic job both securing the old slate back into place and installing a new slate that had been permanently damaged. They were very efficient, clean, and courteous and I will definitely be using them again.

We asked Daniel's roofing to re-roof our gazebo. We were taken through all the options and eventually decided on natural slate. The team were here for a total of 6 days and did an amazing job. They were professional and very tidy. The team, led by Sean, were clearly very very skilled and knew exactly how to work with slate and how to get the best finish - which is a rare skill these days. The roof looks absolutely amazing and there is literally nothing we can fault. Sean and his team were a pleasure to have around. A few days after the roof was completed, another gardener damaged the roof by accident. We called Sean and he came round the same day and fixed the the tiles that were knocked out of alignment. He refused to take any money for this. This is the second time we have used Daniel's roofing and we wouldn't consider using anyone going forward. They are the best.

We have had problems with a leaking loft roof for two years. Two local firms did a patch up job but the leaks came back in the heavy rains earlier this year. We found Daniels Roofing on Trusted Trader and Sean Daniels came round to make a visual inspection. He proposed 2 prices as it was not possible to judge the condition of the timber decking (which might require replacing). Either way, a Kemper System cover would be fitted and new vents to improve air flow (condensation might have been a problem) Any defective slates, and pointing would be replaced and all guttering cleared. Scaffolders arrived bang on time and Vernon and his team completed the work in two days, plus we have a 10 year guarantee. Nina Daniels also sent 17 photos of the completed works. Excellent company!

We had a small leak in our roof, Daniels Roofing could not have been more helpful. They identified the issue and mended it very quickly and efficiently. They were excellent at communicating with us and very cheerful. We would definitely have them back, if needed. Huge thanks to Vernon and his team.
