My Thinkpad was not Windows 11 compatible. I assumed I would have to replace it. Michael upgraded the memory and installed Windows 11.

Danntec designed and built my computer years ago. They did this after discussing what I wanted in a computer and they met every requirement and more. It has been a faithful servant over the thousands of hours I have used it. However time has begun to tell and Danntec have refurbished my computer to modern day requirements. They extracted my files and folders in to safe keeping and have reinstalled them. Danntec kept me informed as to progress during refurbishment and have been eager to establish everything is ok after my computer has been returned. Danntec are the go to company for new or refurbished computers and lap tops and of course fixing your computer should it have ceased working. Danntec have always given sound advice on all queries relating to information technology to your benefit and the benefit of your pocket.

I recently acquired a new laptop as a replacement for one I had used for a number of years. Danntec assisted me with the selection of the new laptop, acquired it for me and then transferred the information from my old laptop to the new one. The whole process was made easy for me thanks to the helpful advice offered by Danntec and the prompt and professional way they managed the whole process. Danntec kept me informed as the arrangements progressed and visited my home to set up the new laptop and ensure it was working correctly. I regard Danntec's role and advice as outstanding

Dannetec looked the liquid damaged screen of my MacBook Pro, sourced a replacement used part and fitted it. The first option didn't work but they immediately sourced and replaced it with a second option which is working really well. They were extremely helpful and professional and kept costs as low as possible. I would definitely use Dannetec again.

After I spilled wine on my laptop I thought it was dead for sure but I found Danntec, turned up and was greeted by Michael who agreed to take a look. He discussed with me the possible price range of repairs and whether this would be cost-effective, depending on the value of the laptop and whether parts could be found. He kept me informed at all stages. The motherboard needed replacing and keyboard refitting and he could source the part but it might take time to arrive. It was all completed more quickly than I was expecting and the price was entirely reasonable. I am delighted to have my laptop back working and have learned my lesson about liquids near tech! But I know where to go if I have another problem and who to recommend to friends if they have tech troubles.

We have used Danntech's service twice now, and Michael has always been helpful, professional and fair. After clearing our defunct laptops and transferring the data we needed, he set up and sold us an excellent reconditioned laptop. after an unpleasant experience at the hands of scammers my chrome book was virtually unusable. I contacted Michael and asked if the situation could be resolved and the machine restored. He performed a "powerwash" and instigated a full restoration so the computer was back to almost new condition. The work was performed on time and I am delighted with the way it is now working, if anything it's faster than before. As usual I found the charge for his brilliant work to be very reasonable and I would not hesitate in recommending him for any job big or small

In complex circumstances following my iMac crash, Danntec successfully recovered a large number of files that were deemed by Apple to be permanently lost and updated elements of hardware that effectively saved me the cost of a new iMac. They have subsequently provided very helpful telephone support and I am happy to recommend them without hesitation.

I've used Danntec twice now, and both times the service has been excellent. I was having unexplained computer crashes, and Danntec came to my home to collect the PC, which was super helpful as I have a new baby. They explained the likely reasons for the fault and kept me updated on each step of the process by text message. As the work was completed, they arranged delivery to my home and worked around my schedule. They always follow up and provide a warranty for any follow-up work needed They are definitely my go-to guys

From first approach to final sign-off Michael of Danntec was helpful and understanding of my needs relating to the sudden death of an elderly PC running an obsolete operating system. It was clearly not a run-of-the mill job as he had to send away for a special adapter in order to fit a new hard drive in place of the failed one. For this and other good reasons, the job - which I had told him was not urgent - took rather longer than expected but in view of the return as a fully functioning unit which readily accepted re-loading of the well-past-use-by-date programmes I have absolutely no complaint. Michael kept me informed as the work progressed and took trouble to offer and explain options as the need arose. The job was completed at a very reasonable cost within the pre-agreed budget. So satisfied am I that I have engaged Michael to repair another PC which had previously been put aside to await a trip to the tip - hopefully now reprieved!

Got my sons Mac Book working again, in good time, at a reasonable cost and kept me informed throughout the process.

Laptop fan started making a loud noise one day. Contacted Danntec. Part ordered and delivered. Booked in and worked around the corner in a cafe whilst repair carried out. All fine since!

Michael Dann replaced a keyboard and two fans in my laptop. The keyboard replacement was immediately perfect. One of the new fans delivered to Danntec was faulty so Michael organised things so that I could take the laptop away and keep working. A second replacement fan was also dubious (supplier's fault, not Michael's) but Michael persevered until, as now, I have two quiet, working fans. He persevered without complaint and without any additional cost to me.

Very professional and friendly. My computer was crashing all of the time and Dantec were able to diagnose the issue and fix it withing a day. Brilliant service. Would definitely recommend

The level of service provided was excellent. From initial assessment, through to repair and return Michael was professional, customer focused and extremely knowledgeable. At times unexpected problems were encountered with the repair with Michael discussing the options available with a great customer focused approach. Danntec were recommended to me by an established client who have their support for softwear and hardwear services. They undertook to examine my malfunctioning laptop and provided an explanation of likely problems and potential solutions. After discussion we agreed actions to secure important data before installing a bigger hard drive and coincidentally a new battery. The work was carried out to plan and to agreed estimate with reports on progress and reassurances on actual findings and the approach being taken. All functions were reinstalled on the laptop with systems upgraded where appropriate. Follow up has been helpful and reassuring and I will have no hesitation in using the service again including seeking advice on issues and will recommend Danntec to any associates in need.

I have used Dantec before, so I had no hesitation is using them again when I had a recent problem with my MacBook. The screen suddenly died on me, and there were various software issues that needed investigating. Michael was very prompt in getting back to me following my initial contact. He had the whole thing turned around in a week. Now, it's like brand new!

Had a laptop screen go bad and Danntec replaced the screen quickly and for a great rate. Was so thankful! Was kept abreast of the work and process to drop off/pay/pick up was easy.

My gaming PC unexpectedly broke down just after New Year's and Danntec came highly recommended so it was my first choice. The issues took a bit to resolve in the end, but I received regular updates via phone calls and emails. I had used Danntec before to fix my TV box and had no hesitation in contacting them again when my Mams laptop needed fixing. I met Mike and I explained the issue and he advised to swap the HDD for an SSD which would make the device faster, quieter and lighter. I was happy with this and we agreed a price with an invoice sent that day. Unfortunately the fan also needed replacing but Mike still agreed a good price with me and it was far cheaper than buying a new laptop for her so we agreed to go ahead. I collected the laptop 23/12/23 just in time for Xmas as it was a present and I could tell straight away that it felt lighter. I then tested it and it was exactly as Mike promised, faster to boot up and move between apps etc and was just like having a new machine. My Mam was delighted with this as she was unable to use it and had just given up hope of it being fixed. She now has a virtually new machine and cant believe the difference. The work is also guaranteed for peace of mind and I can just email Mike if there are any issues or if I need any help which is great after sales support. Danntec (Mike) have done a fantastic job at a competitive price and I will definitely use them again for any PC / software issues and can not recommend them highly enough and am happy to leave a 5 star review. I consulted Danntec regarding water damage to my laptop. Michael was very professional and offered to examine the laptop soon after the incident. He was easily contactable and gave regular updates on the progress and condition of my laptop. When the extent of the damage was fully assessed, he provided me with all of the options I had for repairs and gave extremely helpful advice about what each option meant. He was also able to offer me an upgrade to my laptop in addition for the repair service and this all came to a very reasonable price.
