Datel have been marvellous. Solar batteries fitted on time and courteously but what made them stand out was the after sales. Some months later our system failed over the weekend but they were on site within 2 hours to address the problem, which took some sorting. Nick kept us well informed of progress and Jon was a polite, courteous and excellent electrician. Thank you

Arrived on time and were patient when I was not quite ready. Also very efficient at installation with minimal disruption and mess, they also fixed what needed to be done. They were also happy to do some additional work that I booked in with them that was not on the original booking. I liked that they recommended work to be done without any pressure, pricing was good compared to a company I used in the past. They also sorted out problems that the previous company should have done.

Installation of my new Quantum electric heating system was completed by Ryan and Dan. They always arrived on time, were polite and professional and did a great job. Very happy with all the work carried out and would strongly recommend Datel Electrical to others.

We had a short list of jobs which needed attention - including a broken 4 way wall socket box which was the power supply for my PCs. Sam & Joe were very polite, and explained what they were going to do to fix each problem. For example they put 4 sockets on the wall at desk height to alleviate the need for trailing leads. Sam also checked for surge protection as I had lost a PC to a lightning strike before we moved to Torquay. With regard to the fan in the garage which my husband wanted. It wasn't the right solution so they talked him round to getting a humidifier. They were tidy, quick, and efficient. We wouldn't willing trust anyone other than Datel with our electrical work.

From start to finish, I had confidence in this firm. Communications were frequent and I felt listened to. The engineer was prompt, extremely helpful and knowledgeable and did a great job, including insisting on him clearing up. I shall certainly use this firm again.

Half of house circuit had gone and was advised that it was going to be a long day with carpets and floorboards taken up. However the job was done so professionally with minimal disruption and each area vacuumed after making a mess and all furniture and floorboards put back in place. Fantastic how these guys worked out the routing with no plans to go on. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Well done and a massive Thank you.

Asked Datel for help replacing old kitchen lights and a faulty bathroom fan. They advised on replacement light fittings, bulbs and fan. Work carried out as arranged and on time despite the awkward access to the fan. A problem with the fan was quickly sorted out. The new light fittings now look fantastic with no dark areas. When one of the bulbs supplied failed within a matter of weeks, they sourced a replacement for us, despite being told the bulb was no longer available. Thank you for your great customer service and your perseverance. I am happy to recommend this company as they are really helpful, gave us good advice and are happy to resolve any problems that arise.

We needed electrics installed in our new garden room. The service provided by Datel from start to finish was first-class. The quote was probably not the cheapest but Datel gave us confidence. We were provided with very good backup and reminders from the office and the job itself, carried out by Ryan, was excellent. Very happy to recommend Datel.

I had to call Datel as my smoke detectors decided to sleep in the early hours.I had an idea of was the backup battery but it was also mains linked and as I'm no sparky I needed help.David on the phone was most helpful and sympathetic to my needs. A young engineer came out within 40mins.I explained what I thought needed doing and he went in and within minutes he had sorted the alarm.They were out of date by at least 8 years.Sheltered to check the other one and I asked for a new one also.He didn't have one but went out to purchase one. Didn't get his name but he was very nice and explained the expiry date ,tested the alarms and disposed of the old ones. I thoroughly recommend these guys.Reasonably priced but worth it.I can now sleep safely and soundly.

Quoted for very simple hookup job in garden that would be one days labour for one person, and in the end turned out to be that. Quoted £420 which ended up being over twice the final price I paid an electrician 3 doors down from me. I am a which? Member and had confidence in this service, not now.

I called Datel out urgently for my elderly parents one of which has dementia. Ryan arrived within 30 minutes and very quickly diagnosed the problem, he was able to explain what was wrong and put a temporary fix in place which he proceeded to follow up with the next day. All costs were discussed upfront. I can highly recommend them as a very friendly efficient company who I will use in the future.

We had a dangerous faulty cable inside the wall causing arcing and loud bangs. We called Datel who hadn't anyone spare at such short notice, but called back, having got an electrician off his day off to come out to us. He was polite, calm and methodical, pinpointing the problem straightaway and effecting the repair without fuss, putting our minds at ease. He worked with very little disruption and hardly any mess at all. Thoroughly recommend this company, who are coming back to do more work at my property.

I have used Datel for a good number of years. It's very reassuring to have found an Electrical contractor who always delivers excellent customer service and workmanship. The electrician called at the time agreed and fitted new LED fittings in our garage and shed. The job was done very efficiently and the fittings were secured neatly. An earthing fault was detected and rectified at the same time. The LED products are great - neater and more efficient than the old fluorescent tubes. All the old fittings were taken away. Their pricing is good - for the excellent quality work and customer service they deliver as a team - of both electricians and admin support.

Bought a 50 year old house with trunking and DIY electrics everywhere, an unreachable consumer unit, lots of sockets not working, etc. Datel advised an update to solve all failed areas to modern specs, garage rewiring and investigation of any suspect areas - rather than a full rewire which was not needed. They started Monday, brought in two other electricians as needed, & finished on Friday. Having found additional issues, i.e. all outside security lights not working, aged unsafe extractors, inset smoke alarms years out of date, they advised most suitable new ones, with alternatives offered. At all times, they kept me involved in decision making, choices with costs where necessary. They worked tidily, cleared up every night, & turned up when they said they would and went over and above to leave me confident that my house now worked well and safely Their communication both from office and supervisor on site was excellent. All in all I can thoroughly recommend them.

We just need a double outside socket fitted. Underlying problems were found during the work, all fixed and checked by the cheerful, friendly electrician who patiently explained everything he was having to do. We've used Datel before which is why we went back to them for this small project. The quotation process was quick and competitive. Wouldn't hesitate to use Datel again.

Jon Sword and Ryan Dicks were excellent. They were very professional and friendly. We had a new consumer board installed to replace an old fuse box as well as a couple of other small jobs and the work they carried out was excellent. They were very thorough and honest. Highly recommended.

We have used Datel for a good number of years for varied electrical work. They recently installed 2 Dimplex Quantum heaters for us - to replace old faulty heaters . The additional wiring circuits/switches required were installed very neatly around existing decor. All old items were removed and they left everything clean and tidy. All my questions during the time with us, were answered fully and professionally re setting up/use of the new heaters. The quality of workmanship and customer service of the electricians and the Admin support team is excellent. It's great to have found 'Datel' that I can rely on for any electrical needs.

Ryan replaced light switches, exterior lights and spotlights to resolve problems with bulbs blowing and lights flickering. It was done to the agreed schedule and budget and very efficiently. The trader was incredibly personable, hugely efficient and all staff were so helpful, keeping us fully informed and maintained a brilliant sense of humour throughout. Even with unavoidable delays, the job was completed on time and very effectively.

They came when they said they would, looked at the job, booked in a time to do it, turned up when they said and Ryan was very polite and just got on with the jobs. No hassle or fuss. They did a good job, what I wanted and were helpful when there was the need to adapt the fitting in the ceiling lights. Oh how I wish all jobs I had done in the house were this professionally managed. Would definitely use again and no hesitation in recommending.

Came to install outside power sockets. Very thorough inspection of pre-existing wiring, including squeezing under the house for closer view! Polite and professional. Replastered around drill hole and vacuumed. Very tidy. Office staff very helpful in rescheduling appointment. Highly recommend and would use again. Thank you Datel!

Used this company for the 1st. time... the office staff are delightful, welcoming and very efficient . Phone calls were made when promised by the boss, a rare event these days! We have just used Datel for the third time, and yet again they got it spot on. A fair quote, good workmanship and they tidied up well at the end. Good on COVID precautions. A good company, highly recommended.

An excellent standard of work done, the installation of oven, hob and extractor hood, along with additional plug sockets where required within the kitchen area, they thoroughly tested all circuits throughout, and all rubbish taken away and area cleaned before leaving. I would have no hesitation in using this company again or in recommending them to others.
