Datel Electrical Ltd is a well established electrical contractor based in Kingskerswell in South Devon.
Our team of qualified and highly motivated engineers deliver on our commitment to customer service and quality of work, and we specialise in electrical testing, installation, 24-hour emergency repairs and maintenance.
We are registered with the ECA and Elecsa, and all of our engineers are CRB checked.
We are also a Dimplex registered installer and have the new energy efficient Quantum storage heaters available to view.

The guys who did the work were excellent. Fast, efficient, thorough, and they must be the politest workmen I have ever met. It was quite a big project - consumer units, down lighters, extractor fans, heater towel rails, outside lights etc. If anything wasn't right (eg one towel radiator) they sorted it out for us.

Making safe by installing additional circuit breakers, new earth, new wiring where necessary, new light fittings, switches and sockets where the existing did not meet the required standards for their situation. The faults were thoroughly investigated and I was kept informed at each stage of the project explaining the problem and solutions. The men were very professional, respectful and polite in their approach and workmanship. All work was made good. The work was completed and tested on schedule and budget.

It was a absolute delight dealing with this company who are a polite,effective, trustworthy and professionally skilled team. The work carried out was faultless and undertaken very fast and effectively despite being called upon at short notice during a very busy period. Despite a change to my request for finisheses to lighting, nothing was too much trouble for them, being insistent that it was important that I had exactly what I wanted. Can’t recommend them highly enough. Than you guys a great team. Incidentally Datel was recommended to me by my daughter who has used them on numerous occasions and my views are are also replicated by her.

We first used Datel several years ago to repair and extend an electrical connection in the garden. We had been stuck on how to do this, due to the shortness of wires available, but the electrician, Dean, knew exactly what to do – a torpedo-shaped resin filled joint, and the problem was solved. Impressive, actually. We recently wanted to update and add to the domestic electrics and therefore returned to Datel. This work involved numerous quite small jobs, requiring me to ask Datel a lot of questions about, for example, the best downlighters and LEDs. Datel showed great patience answering them. When it came to doing the work, Dean and Jordan showed up on the day and at the time they were expected. They worked neatly, were pleasant to have around and cleaned up well. They made it clear that the most important thing was that we were happy with their work, which we were. Dean came over as being very knowledgeable and competent. The bill was fair for the work done, and we would highly recommend Datel.
