We are very pleased with the work carried out by David Coleiro. We provided an outline plan of our requirements for an oak cupboard unit in an alcove in our hall. David made helpful suggestions and adapted the plan to suit the joinery work. The finished product exceeded our expectations. David was pleasant and courteous throughout the process and took a great deal of time and trouble to ensure the final installation went smoothly. We would highly recommend him.

Dave and Stefan created a new Kitchen and downstairs toilet . We really had no idea what could be done but they came and assessed the site and recommended solutions. Dave put us in touch with all other parties (Kitchen specialists, window specialists etc.). Dave and Stefan then carried out the work to an exceptional level. We can’t praise their work highly enough. If anyone is looking for good reliable professionals please look no further. These guys are top quality.

The team have delivered extensive work for us over the last 6-months, including: complete refurbishment/install of attic bedroom + ensuite; master bathroom install; design and fit of bespoke staircase banister, balustrade, risers & wall paneling; bespoke bookcase mantel build; sized and hung multiple internal doors, new boiler install. There were some slight delays with the initial phase caused by unforeseen complications with historic plumbing, but was able to resolve and adapt to the challenges without fuss. The entire team have been a pleasure to deal with; friendly, punctual, professional, conscientious, and diligent. David goes the extra mile to solve problems, working closely with the client throughout each stage of the project, including advising on materials & suppliers and design & configuration. We are very satisfied with the quality of work and incredibly grateful to the team for their efforts. This is the second time we have worked with them. We will be proceeding to a third phase of our renovations with the team shortly and would highly recommend their services.

David and Gary did a first-class job in installing a toilet/basin unit in our downstairs bathroom. It proved slightly more involved than planned but they got on with the job with no complaints. Completed on time and on budget. I was impressed with good communication and polite manners. They finished by doing a good tidy-up! I would recommend them.

David converted our bathroom from 2 rooms into 1 and refurbished it with all new appliances. From the beginning, David was thorough, extremely helpful, very friendly and had great communication throughout. The project was quite a big undertaking but he managed it with ease and explained every detail to us and was happy to answer all of our questions. During the refurb, David's work was very clean and organised which was great to see. Our new bathroom is a huge improvement on what we had before and I'm extremely grateful for the work David and Stefan put in to make it happen. I also asked if David could replaster and put new lights in our kitchen ceiling at the same time, which he did a brilliant job of too. I would highly recommend David to anyone and would definitely use his services again.

Our downstairs cloakroom was in dire need of updating. Not knowing a reliable builder I checked the Which website. On reading the reviews of David's work I contacted him. David visited and listened to what we wanted. Where we were unsure he came up with good suggestions. I cannot fault David's work in any way. Everything that has been said by other reviewers is spot on, he was punctual, courteous, professional with meticulous attention to detail. Needless to say we are thrilled with our updated cloakroom and will definitely use David again. We have no hesitation in recommending him.

David is helping us to refurbish our home and is proving to be a real find. He has removed and installed a kitchen to a high standard and is always keen to fit improvements to our house. He has now decorated our dining room, helped to fix our guttering and new kitchen and patio doors. I cannot recommend him highly enough. His calm, experienced and helpful manner has been much appreciated and his advice invaluable. We look forward to him continuing to help us improve our home. Thank you so much David!

I have no hesitation in recommending David and Gary . My initial attempt to get the bathroom refurbished was delayed in October 2023 due to my husbands ill health. David was very understanding and when I contacted him in January 2024 and he was able to fit us in due to a cancellation. Throughout they both showed unfailing care for our needs , making sure that we had night time access to the toilet and ensuring there were no trip hazards. This house is old and has had many different modifications with heating and plumbing which they were able to cope with despite an errant water pipe and other surprises. It was all remedied with efficiency and with good humour. Even my wishes to fit a niche storage area in the shower area were fulfilled. Our bathroom is tiny so it was no mean feat. The size of the room meant that careful logistics and planning were required to get the various tasks completed sequentially and smoothly. It was very professionally done. I believe I may have thrown away some parts in packaging and that too was remedied without fuss. . The time schedule was slightly extended due to new framing being required. Everything was explained and I felt confident done to a good standard. The cost of the work was extremely reasonable and within my budget. I am so happy with the result as both the function and finish are exactly as I hoped . I enjoyed the whole process and David and Gary are really nice people too.

David recently made a bespoke fitted wardrobe and built in desk with a shelving unit above it for our son's room. David was fully involved in the design process and came up with some really useful suggestions to enable the desk set-up to be altered as our son grows. Work was of great quality and David is cheerful, friendly and tidy - would highly recommend.

David has just completed a bathroom renovation for us and did a very professional job. He has done a few renovation jobs for us over the years, the reason we use him his work is high quality, he is a perfectionist and doesn't cut corners. I will definitely use him again. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a good builder.

David and his colleague Gary were extremely professional, skillful and meticulous in their work. They were always punctual, friendly and communicated well throughout the entire process. David visited the property several times prior to fitting to ensure our needs were understood and to make accurate preparations. They were also very thoughtful and tidy when working and kept well within agreed time-frames for completion of the work. We are delighted with the work done and I would highly recommend this company to all, and have already recommended him to family and friends. We hope to use David again for further renovations in the future.

David has helped with a problem shower door which left tiles broken when it was removed. He removed the damaged tiles and replaced them with some spare that I had, he left the tile adhesive to cure. He then returned with his colleague Gary to finish the job and put in place a new shower door. All work was done neatly with no mess left on site. He and his colleague had previously attended to a problem with my front door step for me. Replacing the step and lower architrave which had rotted hence leaking heavy rain into my hallway. All is fine now, no more rain ingress and no drafts! All done very well and at a really good price! I am very happy with the results of both jobs attended to and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend David.

We hired David and his team to refurbish my mother's bathroom, remove the bath, install a walk-in shower, a new toilet and sink and lay new flooring and ensure that it's accessible. The work was completed well within the time frame he gave us - despite some issues that they had to deal with, plumbing wise, to ensure that the toilet could be installed. The place was always left tidy at the end of the day and they were such a lovely team. Very considerate and patient with my mother, who is a bit forgetful. They gave great advice when we were selecting fixtures and fittings and they also fixed a few other things that they noticed while they were working. They went above and beyond. Honestly, they were a dream to deal with and I'm so grateful for the effort they went to. The bathroom looks fantastic. I'm a little bit jealous! All in all, I cannot recommend David enough.

I found David from the Which website as I was in desperate need of installation of banister and spindles. I required the job completed within a short space of time due to a hip operation I would need. David was very understanding of the situation and kindly advised that although he had a busy schedule, he managed to fit the work within my timeframe. David was well worth the wait as he advised on the work from start to finish. He was very professional, always arrived on time, cleared up all his tools and was very good with the hoover. I am very happy with the new banister and spindles and would not hesitate to use him again, which we have planned to later in the year.

David removed an old double oven and remodelled the housing unit to take two single ovens. He is accurate and precise in his measurements and checks everything. Everything fitted perfectly. And he is such a pleasant person!

David recently fitted a complete kitchen for us, he recommended Knaggs as the supplier and we were very happy in the service and help that they provided. A great recommendation. The standard of David's workmanship was excellent and we would highly recommend him, he did a great job taking into account what we wanted and delivering in a timely manner. He was a neat and tidy worker and very reliable.

David made two bespoke kitchen cabints to fit under an existing island unit. He was very helpful, arrived on time and did a very clean and tidy job. We are very pleased with the end result, and would have no prblem with recommending David to friends and family.

I have used David in the past to design and install sliding doors in the cupboard under the stairs, and to put right the ventilation system for my cooker hood, which another local tradesman had not installed properly. My latest problem was a leak in the toilet fittings in my bathroom. I had visions of him having to demolish and rebuild the bathroom units, and possibly lever up and replace the floor tiles, but although he had to partially dismantle the bathroom unit and the toilet fittings to fix it, there is no evidence he has done anything - except, now, no leak! And he made changes to the bathroom unit so that if the problem ever arises again, it will be easier to fix. He was helpful and cheerful and obviously immensely competent at what he was doing.

David installed my new kitchen. He was cheerful and professional throughout the project and kept me informed of any issues which arose. David was always willing to offer solutions to issues. After searching for some time he managed to source my new flooring and quickly arranged for this to be installed. David took care to leave my home clean and tidy at the end of each day. I am very happy with my new kitchen and would not hesitate to recommend David.

David turned a wall in our ex-garage utility room into a very tidy laundry room area by effectively using some cupboards already there and replacing / extending the countertop over the washer and dryer, leaving us with lots of space for items and a much cleaner look, and also put vinyl down to replace the ugly (and previously waterlogged) carpeting that was originally there. We're really pleased with the results!

David and his colleague Stefan recently installed our new kitchen. We are so pleased with the work they've done. David responded promptly to all our enquiries when arranging the work and once on site he was so friendly and kept us updated. The installation proved to be a bit more difficult than anticipated, due to our wonky walls but David worked hard to find solutions that look neat and that we were happy with. Each day David and Stefan arrived promptly, they also tidied up before leaving and made sure we had access to facilities in the evenings. We're really pleased with the end result and found David and Stefan a pleasure to work with. We'd definitely use David and his team again and cannot recommend enough.

David came to provide bookshelves, a cupboard and a radiator cover in an alcove for us. At every stage, he contacted us promptly, and in all discussions with us were detailed and clear so our wishes were carried out in a professional but friendly manner. He gave helpful appropriate advice. His skills and knowledge were evident, and we are delighted with the finished work. Having his own workshop meant that much preparatory work was done off-site reducing the amount of visits to arrange. David always made sure that any inconvenience was minimal and cleared up thoroughly. He kept to the original estimate. He arranged for a plumber colleague to come to alter our radiator and at our request recommended another colleague to do the painting. The whole job was therefore expedited with the minimum of stress for us and David was a pleasure to work with. We are happy to recommend him.

David is a very likeable person. His professionalism is exceptional being very well organised, having good communications and performing extremely good workmanship in a timely and very clean fashion. He was happy and effective in giving help and advice when discussing the project. We would not hesitate to contact him for any future carpentry requirements.
