David did an excellent job painting my flat. He was always punctual, extremely professional and worked quickly. I was very impressed with the final outcome and I liked that he was always willing to answer my questions and provide his expert guidance.

David is a fantastic, reliable, punctual and all round brilliant tradesmen. He is so versatile and very knowledgeable in his trade. I would not use anyone else.

David painted the interior of our house a couple years ago. David was very engaged and gave good advice on choices of paint brand and colour combinations. David was particularly knowledgeable in this area and clearly cared that we got the finish we wanted. David works methodically and quietly and delivers a good job. We have invited David round for subsequent work and kindly offered to paint our bathroom ceiling at no extra cost. David will be the first person we call for any future work.

We recently employed David to repaint our hall, lounge and landing - after we had a disaster with another decorator. The difference was incredible at all stages! David was pleasant, meticulous, tidy and consistently helpful. He pays attention to detail and achieved a high quality finish. David painted my entire flat just before Christmas. He was able to fit the work in at fairly short notice, and gave a lot of great advice when it came to colours. He was also very patient and understanding when an initial colour choice didn't look as I'd expected when it was on the wall. I got a few quotes, and his was the most reasonable. I also liked that it included everything such as paint and other materials (he even said "I don't charge any extras"). He is methodical and the end result was therefore very good. You can get the work done more quickly (i.e. in fewer days) elsewhere - but having the whole job done by the one person who you met at quote time is a huge plus for me. It was certainly worth the job taking a few extra days. He was considerate, working around my schedule, and he tidied up after himself. I would certainly recommend him.

I got David Neall to repaint the external masonry and woodwork of a Victorian house. He works alone, so I needed to organise scaffolding, which was no big deal. His estimate was competitive. he provided a full written quote, and did the work within the time he said and within the quote - even adding some extras in for free, like brightening up the external gas meter cupboards and bits like that. On top of that he worked tidily and was polite, friendly and approachable. And I'm pleased with the final result. I'd certainly go back to him for future jobs that come up.

David decorated our three bedroom house throughout. Ceilings walls sash windows and all woodwork. The quote given was very competitive and david provided a great deal of advice on colours and design .A professional decorator at last!! No hidden extras to pay cannot recommend highly enough .

David is an old-fashioned craftsman who won't rest until the job is perfect. Totally reliable, painstaking attention to preparation (surely the secret of a good paint job?) full of helpful advice and ideas that might not have occurred to the customer, and eminently reasonably priced. He's done all our bedrooms and will be invited back to do the hall and downstairs in due course. Originally recommended by our architect, otherwise we probably wouldn't have searched so far afield (we're North London) -but very glad that we did!
