David Neall Decorating

David painted our lounge/dining room, hallway and landing, and kitchen (including some very tricky kitchen cupboards) and front door during August 2014. Everything has been finished to an extremely high standard. David has an incredibly professional approach to his work, is happy to give advice and knowledgeable about interior decor/design. He was also incredibly patient with us as we kept changing our minds about colour! I would recommend him without hesitation.

David painted three of our bedrooms. He was quick and efficient and left the place tidy. He was very quiet and nice to work with. We really appreciated that when we made a mistake with the colour in one room, he did not mind us changing the colour and did not overcharge for the extra work. The finished work is of a high standard and we are very pleased with it. We thought that his quote was exceptionally good value (it also included the cost of the paint).

David recently painted the hallway and several rooms in our son's flat in south London, and we were very happy with the results. He offered helpful advice on colour choice, and was tidy and punctual, with no hidden extra costs. You may well be able to find people able to do it faster, but David was clear up-front about how long it would take - and the quality finish was more important to us than speed.

David is an old-fashioned craftsman who won't rest until the job is perfect. Totally reliable, painstaking attention to preparation (surely the secret of a good paint job?) full of helpful advice and ideas that might not have occurred to the customer, and eminently reasonably priced. He's done all our bedrooms and will be invited back to do the hall and downstairs in due course. Originally recommended by our architect, otherwise we probably wouldn't have searched so far afield (we're North London) -but very glad that we did!

David recently painted our hall and we are very pleased with the result. He worked in the house alone while we were on holiday and left everything pristine for our return - apart from the change in paint colour we wouldn't have known he'd been there. . His quotation was highly competitive and he completed the work ahead of time. We would be happy to employ him again, and to recommend him to others.

I needed someone to paint exterior wood cladding to my house. Found David through Which local. He advised wisely on the colour and the woodstain and did a really good job.

We hired David through Which Local to re-paint our entire flat, including ceilings, doors, sash windows and skirting. David was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. After coming to visit our property, within 24 hours he had provided us with a quote and started work a week later. I have never known a decorator to work so quietly and cleanly. he even turned up with his own vacuum and cleaned the windows after they had been painted.
