David Neall Decorating

David painted our lounge/dining room, hallway and landing, and kitchen (including some very tricky kitchen cupboards) and front door during August 2014. Everything has been finished to an extremely high standard. David has an incredibly professional approach to his work, is happy to give advice and knowledgeable about interior decor/design. He was also incredibly patient with us as we kept changing our minds about colour! I would recommend him without hesitation.

David painted three of our bedrooms. He was quick and efficient and left the place tidy. He was very quiet and nice to work with. We really appreciated that when we made a mistake with the colour in one room, he did not mind us changing the colour and did not overcharge for the extra work. The finished work is of a high standard and we are very pleased with it. We thought that his quote was exceptionally good value (it also included the cost of the paint).

David recently painted the hallway and several rooms in our son's flat in south London, and we were very happy with the results. He offered helpful advice on colour choice, and was tidy and punctual, with no hidden extra costs. You may well be able to find people able to do it faster, but David was clear up-front about how long it would take - and the quality finish was more important to us than speed.

Dave provided some much needed exterior painting and even provided advice on door colours & hardware which was much appreciated. Dave is very reliable and professional and we would wholeheartedly recommend him to our friends and neighbour

David recently painted our hallway and main bedroom and did a fantastic job. We got 3 quotes and his was the most reasonable. He was quick to respond and provided a quote fully costed with all materials included. He was tidy and punctual throughout, provided useful advice and the finish is excellent. He finished the work a day early and did a couple of extra bits and pieces which was really appreciated. Would recommend David highly and would certainly use him again.

David spent two weeks in early January redecorating my one bedroom flat. He was an excellent find - started early, always punctual, explained everything clearly and was very patient and offered helpful suggestions along the way as to what needed doing and what paint would be best. He took a lot of care to prepare the walls and skirting boards before painting them and I have been very pleased with the finish. He also went above and beyond and offered to help with a couple of extra jobs for no additional labour costs. I couldn't recommend him highly enough.

I am in the process of preparing a flat on Fulham Broadway for my retirement,I contacted David for advice on the preparation and decorating .The advice that my wife was given on wallpapers, types and colours of paints was invaluable.The quote that he supplied was well within the guidelines I provided him with, especially for this area of London.David has now carried out the decorating of my two bedroomed flat in a very professional manner.His preparation,paper hanging and painting skills are of a particulally high standard I can best describe David has a craftsman.He is very,very easy to get on with and is never put out by extra work requests(my wife changed the feature wallpaper twice in one bedroom)and at no extra cost David carried out the re-decoration.Contact and speak to him you will then understand why I highly recommend him

I found David Neall through Which Local after reading many many reviews. He wasn't the nearest by any means but after reading the comments posted by his previous clients, I felt he was the person I was looking for. He responded to my initial enquiry promptly and the estimate was excellent value. The work involved painting the hall area and stairs to a three story older property with an awkward large window which needed considerable repair. (He even cleaned the windows afterwards)! He starts early in the morning and works on his own through the day, clearing up carefully (own hoover) before leaving. I liked his professional approach and he was a super person to have in the house. I especially liked the quiet radio tuned to classic FM! The work was completed to a very high standard, so much so that I asked him to return to paint the large wooden porch. I would endorse everything that has been written by other clients and would recommend him unreservedly. I will certainly call him next time I need a decorator.
