i have used David (Celsius) for many years Not only for plumbing ,boiler service and a replacement kitchen and wet room. He is efficient ,reliable, always helpful and a thoroughly decent and polite human being.

I had an understairs cupboard made in toilet. Very complex job but made it seem so easy, had to lift floors to fit all the pipes etc minimal damage to floor you wouldnt even know they had lifted and put back down. They soundproofed wall, tiled floor and walls even put a light in for me....nothing too much trouble. Would highly recommend them it's gorgeous wish I could show you picture....

Had a dripping tap. Drip rate was increasing and becoming evermore irritating. Telephoned Celsius. Sandy arrived. After some discussion, agreed a replacement tap was the best solution. I was emailed a choice of three replacement taps at a range of prices. I made my choice. Work was completed, to my satisfaction, a short time thereafter.

David and the team replaced our ancient boiler and hot water tank in an old farmhouse. The work was carried out with minimal disruption - we were always left over night with a water supply which was great. We were kept informed at each stage of the process on what progress was being made and whether we needed to make a decision about anything. The work was completed on time and the final invoice came in close to the estimated costs. A great job, Thank you.

In April ‘25, we asked David at Celsius for a quote to install a domestic gas boiler. He gave a full explanation of the type and make of boiler he recommended for our needs, but suggested we do our own research based on his recommendations. When we had completed our research, we requested a formal quote which was received within three days. We were happy with the quote and agreed a date in August for the installation. David and his team turned up on time, and the job was completed in a professional, efficient and friendly way within the time agreed. After the boiler was installed everything was left clean and tidy. Any questions we had were fully answered. In addition, we have decided to contract with Celsius to complete our annual boiler service. Satisfied and happy customer!

Sandy the plumber told me that I required a new toilet flushing mechanism and a new mixer tap for my wash hand basin. The firm offered me a choice of mixer taps, and when I had made my choice, Sandy arrived to replace my mixer tap. He worked hard because, as I have a back-to-the-wall toilet, he had to pull the toilet out of the wall to gain access to the flushing mechanism. He then had to replace the mechanism and return the toilet back against the wall. The cost was reasonable in terms of the work I had seen him carry out.

Communication was excellent when booking and after the work was finished. Work was arranged for a date and time and plumber turned up when agreed. Plumber kept me informed during work, as there were a few issues with the previous installation of the toilet by another company that had caused issues this time. Although work took longer, it was completed in one go, and the toilet works better than ever. Will definitely use Celsius from now on, a great company and very helpful.

Easy process, from initial enquiry through to completion of the job. Boiler service was carried out by Sandy, who was polite and thorough at all times. This was my first experience of the company, and I wouldn't consider using anyone else in the future. First class.

David has done numerous pieces of work for me and l have found him reliable, punctual, knowledgeable, diligent and exceedingly good at his job. Not only is the above enough he is a thoroughly nice chap and easy to deal with.

I have used this company for many years. I have always found them reliable. I chose them to redo my bathroom. They optimised the space in my extremely small room and I even have a very large bath in it. I am delighted. The guys cleared up very well after themselves and were even good company during the week it took to complete. I would recommend them to anyone.

If anyone is ever looking for heating engineer/plumber...please call Celsius Plumbing & Heating in Troon. We have had major issues with 2 cold rooms. After various quotes from other companies ranging from £500 to £1900 to change 2 radiators I called in David's company Celsius. After spending an hour with us , he told us that all we needed was for the system to be balanced. In other words no new radiators needed. 24 hours after his first visit David returned and did just that. For the first time in 6 years we have heat in all our rooms, so much so that we have turned down our thermostat. Many thanks David, we will be back in touch soon to chat about our new bathroom

The team at Celsius were a pleasure to deal with when setting up this installation appointment and while the job was being done. They arrived when they said they would and were friendly and helpful throughout. They even went over and above and saw to a leaky pipe I had asked for some advice on, while they were there. I have now confidently signed up to their home care plan to look after my heating and plumbing going forward. Highly recommend.

15 year old combi broke down and uneconomical to repair New combi fitted within 24 hours . Neat and tidy . The previous one had replaced the original which heated water with immersion heater but pipe work unchanged resulting in twenty metres of pipe from combi to kitchen tap . David changed pipework resulting in one metre run . Another 5 star performance !

Celsius provided quotes and recommendations after our boiler became “unfixable” during the cold snap mid January. 48hrs later the boiler was installed and working. From the first phone call this service was professional, knowledgeable and high quality. The engineer arrived exactly when expected. The repair was carried out quickly and afterwards the engineer spent time explaining what he had done and things to look out for in the future. Receiving the invoice by email is excellent and with a week to pay really takes the pressure off. Love that I can also pay online. Seamless service from start to finish.

I have been a customer of Celsius, Troon, for a number of years now and cannot recommend them highly enough. From routine boiler servicing and minor problems to potential catastrophes, both David and Sandy have gone out of their way (and outwith their working hours) to give expert support and skilled workmanship to the very highest standard. It is really reassuring to know that Celsius are there and that they really care for their customers!

Our bathroom is fabulous, David created a room fit for my advancing years it was a complete renewal not a makeover with new from ground up and a change of door position needed. The floor was replaced room tanked for wet room tiling fantastic floor tiling flows and gathers at the drain so the water drains away well. It is the second bathroom David has renewed for us and both of them are excellent.I highly recommend him to any one who wants a job doing extremely well and correctly

Celsius Plumbing have done several jobs for me in the past, sometimes sorting out problems which other “tradesmen” had caused, so I had no hesitation in asking David to do my very small kitchen. Claire in the office did all the administration very efficiently, always communicating with me when needed. The job was started on the due date and time by David. It was a particularly challenging task as only one person could work in the small space available. However, as usual, David looked for solutions rather than problems and the result is a kitchen which is both functional and beautifully fitted. It’s now a pleasure to work in it. David is an expert craftsman who is reliable, trustworthy, resourceful and fair. Need I say more?

The gas boiler broke down at 4 pm on a Friday with a forecast of minus degree temperatures. Despite being told the cold was a health risk for my 78 year old wife , the company who have serviced the boiler every year for the previous seven years declined to come out for four days. Contacted Celsius and David turned up within an hour, found two faults, one pre-existing, completed the repairs and stayed for a time to ensure no further problem. An additional payment was offered for out of hours call but was declined. Future annual services will be done by David

After many years, many failed attempts and many thousands of pounds spent on building a wet room. What we actually had was a badly built bathroom completely unsuitable/unusable for a blind disabled person. Using several different companies we had failed to find any that could satisfactorily do the work. David Osborne/ Celsius was suggested and was highly recommend both online and by word of mouth. His quote was slightly higher than some and less than others. We cannot thank or recommend him highly enough. He arrived on agreed start date, turned up every day, worked all day. Completed wet room ahead of schedule. Advised us constantly of job progress and details of work being carried out. Consulted with us on specific details like choice of extractor fan etc. He left no mess removed all debris and was very respectful of our home. He left us with a beautiful, perfectly working wet room that has exceeded all our expectations. He fixed a wet room that no one else could sort. An emergency call out reviewed and sorted sink leaking where we could not find the cause,David had it sorted within an hour and his bill was reasonable Thank you very much to David and his work colleague James Concannon

Claire and David are a marvellous team. David was able to pop by and look at mum's heating system, quickly diagnose the problem, get it working on a short-term basis and advise us on what was required next. His advice was clear, giving us a number of options and explaining what was needed. He does not put you under any pressure to quickly choose an option and gives you time to consider budget, timescale etc. Claire was able to order the part and advise us of the price in order that we could decide if we wanted/were able to go ahead or not. On coming to fit the new part David advised when he would come and arrived on time. He worked in his usual professional manner ensuring everything was done safely and to a very high standard. The result was that on the two coldest nights of the year, whilst mum was in hospital, mum's house was warm and even more importantly when she subsequently left hospital she came home to a warm house with a viable heating system. I cannot praise David and Claire enough for the service they provide. Everything is done with care, professionalism, consideration for the customer and excellent communication. David has an enthusiasm for his work and takes a pride in what he does. Although this was a relatively small job we have also used this business for a larger full bathroom refit and they were again excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending them and indeed will use them again in the future if the need arises.

Celcius were contracted to carry out the installation of a water heater, change the location of washing machine and sink feeds and upgrade ancillaries. After receiving a quote, the project was completed on the agreed date which tied in with other trades. I was impressed with the professional, friendly service and positive attitude from the whole team at Celcius and I would highly recommend using this company, they are a pleasure to deal with.

I had ordered a new shower screen and David arrived on time with a pleasant manner. He advised that the screen had been fitted well and he could repair the leak without having to install a new one. I was delighted and said if that would save money go ahead and repair it. He took bits off and cleaned them well and when fitted back no leaks and a much cleaner shower. I had paid a deposit and when invoice came in I was owed money back. I feel this demonstrates a very honest and professional ethos within the business. Whenever I have had to call his clerical team have very helpful and pleasant.
