From the initial home visit to discuss the work, through to ordering hardware and carrying out the installation, Dean and the team at DAW Electrical & Gas Engineering have been nothing but helpful, friendly, and professional. Having just moved into a property, I wanted to update the heating by replacing the outdated water-based gas system with modern electric radiators and a fireplace. As the work commenced, it was discovered that many of the electrical points had not been installed to a standard acceptable to the team. After discussing the options of leaving exposed plastic wall trunking or addressing the issue properly, I decided to invest the time to have the sockets fixed. I am extremely happy with the high standard of work delivered and will be using them for future works. Work done as requested for cooker switch installation and connection to cooker. He was in time as scheduled and completed. Also gave me reasonable price. We agreed with price, date and time which he followed.

I called DAW Electrical and Gas Engineering this morning to arrange the replacement of a faulty shower switch, and the new switch was fitted this afternoon. The engineer who carried out the work was knowledgeable and friendly, and pointed out that the old 20amp switch was not suitable for a modern 30 amp plus shower. Overall I am very pleased with the service from DAW Electrical and Gas Engineering, and they come highly recommended.

We rang in a bit of a panic on a Saturday evening as and RCD on the fuse box had tripped and would not reset. Daw told us the most likely causes and told us how to isolate the fault. The culprit turns out to be the washing machine. now have power back on, and have avoided an emergency call out. It is really reassuring to be able to contact a company like Daw.
