We recently moved to the area and sought recommendations from a community page. Everyone that commented suggested Dawlish Kitchens and Bedrooms for their high standard of workmanship We are so so pleased with their service from start to finish, so can understand why so many folks suggested them. We had quotes from other "big" companies but was swayed towards this local small family business for various reasons. The price was very competitive and there weren't any hidden extras when we chose more detailed panelled doors etc which the other 2 companies did add quite a bit to the cost. The service was friendly and professional and so much more personal and tailored to our needs too We definitely made the right decision. Olivia and Richard were supportive and patient as we worked our way through our ideas. There was no time pressure or special offers being withdrawn etc and we had lots of time to make our choices and felt really comfortable with our choices and could now look forward to them being fitted. But the proof of the pudding would be when the wardrobes were fitted. These were completed today and we are absolutely delighted with them. They arrived promptly, worked efficiently and so tidily. They look fab and are perfectly fitted. We just can't thank Dawlish Kitchens and Bedrooms enough for such a fab experience overall and would highly recommend their service to anyone looking for any work to be done. We too will be back for our next project soon.

We had an excellent service from this local reputable company. We highly recommend them. Richard and Olivia, with the strong backbone support from Kai and other very highly reputable contractors, are an amazing team. Richard and Olivia really listened to our ideas and helped us plan the functional, attractive and great quality kitchen and utility room of our dreams, making the most of all the space we had. They also decorated and put flooring in our new conservatory/dining room. This is the second time that we have used Dawlish Kitchens, and they have been brilliant. They have a really good selection of units and worktops and lots of samples to take home and try. Olivia was so helpful and patient with us trying to find the right colours. She has got really good style ideas which really complements Richard’s can-do attitude. It feels like anything is possible and nothing is a problem. He came up with an excellent design idea for the kitchen and worked alongside the old building and its quirks! The work has been carried out to a really high standard and they are a very clean and tidy team. The tradespeople that they bring in for the tiling/painting/electrics and plumbing are also really good, it just feels as though everything is in safe hands!

We recently had our kitchen revamped by Dawlish Kitchens and Bedrooms and the result was outstanding, much as we have come to expect having used them before for our bedrooms and study. All our visiting friends and relatives have echoed these words. The work was done within the timescales Richard and Liv specified and the quality of the finish is exceptional. This business has developed a first class reputation in a relatively short space of time and we will continue to recommend them to people we know as they offer a professional and friendly service in all aspects of the work they undertake.

There are not enough superlatives to describe how happy I am with my new kitchen/diner and Master Bedroom. Richard and Olivia with their design know how and pristine workmanship, have transformed my home beyond expectations. My big ask was for my North facing and very cold kitchen and dining room, to be knocked into one and to improve the heating. In the bedroom I asked for the window to be replaced with a Juliet balcony, to disguise the boxed in lintel over the window and to give me lots of hanging space and drawers. All of this was achieved in Just over four weeks and looks absolutely stunning, with Richard and Olivia project managing the whole job. I was given a schedule of works and knew when each of their trusted trades people were due to arrive. Richard was also more than happy to to incorporate extra finishing touches I thought up during installation. At the end of each day my home was left neat and tidy. I can't thank Richard, Olivia and team enough for their endless patience, kindness and expertise. I have no hesitation in recommending Dawlish Kitchens and Bedrooms, from the first phone call I just knew I could trust this company.

Both Rich and Liv are friendly and professional. They took time to plan our kitchen around our family, paying attention to every detail. They are knowledgeable, reliable, and approachable. We have quite a large kitchen although we have a very small worksurface with no splashback behind the units and inadequate storage. We decided that perhaps an island would correct our problems, so we contacted this company who have a great reputation locally. Their ideas were immediately accepted, and we ordered the island and splashback to improve our kitchen. The work was carried out absolutely per our agreement, and the standard of workmanship was truly excellent. We are thrilled with the appearance now, and Richard, Olivia and the team have done a fantastic job. We absolutely recommend them to anyone who is looking for quality and service.

Dawlish Kitchens & Bedrooms have just completed a sizeable conversion of our Kitchen/Utility/WC and at the same time our Master Bedroom. Plectrumb, their Electrical/Plumbing subcontractors were in parallel, installing the Ensuite Bathroom, replacing much of the central heating and renewing electrical components and circuitry. It was professionally planned and executed with precision and minimum disruption. The transformation is amazing, the cupboards and wardrobes are of a very high quality and have been expertly installed. The finishing touches, such as the worktops and the glass wall coverings, are very impressive. The whole team were really easy to get along with, friendly, helpful, focused and hard working with great attention to detail. We are really delighted with the outcome and believe we got real value for our money. Clearly, we would recommend Dawlish K&B and their subcontractors for any similar work.

Very friendly and efficient service from Richard coming to see what we wanted to the finished product. Richard gave us options and ideas for the space and was able to include our requirements. The process from start to finish in the installation of a complete new kitchen and fitted wardrobe units to 2 bedrooms has been stress-free and a pleasure to have used Dawlish Kitchens & Bedrooms Ltd – we will be pleased to share the resulting photo on their web-site. Having laid out the basic ideas with Richard, Olivia created visuals for us to tweek together with some helpful advise and suggestions. With the technology they have this was so easy and resulted in a precise and made-to-measure plan – every inch in each room was fully maximised. Communication was timely throughout these initial stages and during the installation. Proposed dates for installation were set, confirmed and adhered. Delivery of units and equipment were confirmed to us and calls made 2 or 3 days prior to install to confirm – HAPPY DAYS! Richard and his assistant, Kai, were always on time, kept the work stations immaculately clean and tidy and were a pleasure to have in our home – I think the tea and doughnuts helped! Richard and Kai's attention to detail bordered on obsessive – wonderful to see the experts taking great pride in their work. From our first query through months of planning and changes to the plan Olivia and Richard were endlessly helpful. It was fantastic to know we could call and make changes or ask advice about products. When there was a hitch with supplies of products we were immediately informed and offered a range of alternatives and when one of the tradesmen was ill they quickly juggled things around to ensure they met their completion date. From our initial meeting to the completion of the works, every aspect of this company was excellent. The customer service from site visit, quote, installation date and the actual work being carried out was totally professional. The standard of workmanship and care could not be better. I have just moved to Dawlish for Hampshire and needed a dressing room and kitchen fitted. Dawlish Kitchens and Bedrooms we recommended to me by a neighbour. I cannot begin to give the company and the fitters enough praise. They are competitively priced, use first-class materials and their fitters are second to none. They are professional, extremely careful and nothing is too much trouble. Everything is cleaned to minute detail every evening and all packaging taken away. Always on time and always do a full day. I happily recommend them to anybody, in fact, I would encourage it.

Having had a very attractive and practical fitted bedroom from Dawlish Kitchens & Bedrooms in the house we had moved into in 2019, they were our first choice when we decided to renew the kitchen. Richard and Olivia provide a highly professional, friendly and first-class service, from start to finish. Richard listens carefully to the needs and wishes of his customers but also offers his own ideas and suggestions. Olivia, at their showroom, is very knowledgeable, happy to discuss the pros and cons of various products, colour schemes, fittings and will order in samples to view. The work on our kitchen was carried out to schedule, with the minimum of disruption by Richard and his assistant, Kai. Richard is a true craftsman and gives great attention to detail. They use the excellent local firm Plectrumb for the plumbing and electrical work and the two companies work extremely well together. At the end of each day, the room was left tidy and swept. We are so glad we chose Dawlish Kitchens for our kitchen makeover! After a visit from Richard for a design and a trip to the showroom for help from Olivia we finalised our ideas, accepted the quote and soon had a start date. We moved into a new-build in September 2016. Within two years, the integral fridge-freezer had had to be replaced twice, and so, when we decided to buy a stand-alone, I had to remove the original housing. This left the kitchen poorly finished, and in need of refurbishment, along with the utility room. Richard and Olivia could not have been more helpful. Richard explained all the available possibilities - the layout of the kitchen rather limited the choices available, but at least we knew what was and wasn't possible! Our plans seemed to change on a weekly basis, but Olivia was patience and helpfulness personified, and Richard listened attentively to our considerations. Lockdown caused our start date to be delayed by 10 weeks but we had a clear schedule, with gaps making the intrusion easy to deal with. The rebuild took three weeks from start to finish. The project-management was second to none with the subcontractors all completing the work with a minimum of fuss, all very friendly, and professional to the core. To say that we are delighted with the kitchen is a massive understatement. It is exactly as we had imagined, and Richard and his fellow-workers have taken enormous pride in their work. We would have not the slightest hesitation in recommending them, or in using them for other work in the house.

We had downsized and needed extra storage in our new property. We had seen examples of the workmanship from this company in neighbours homes and asked if they could create storage and bed in one of our bedrooms. From initial contact through to completion this company is exemplary. The design, communication, choice of materials and dates for work agreed, it was all undertaken in a professional and friendly manner. The finished design is “stunning”. Over the years we have developed numerous properties and used several companies, Dawlish Kitchens and Bedrooms has to be the best we have used.

We contacted Dawlish Kitchens & Bedrooms to get a quote for a kitchen refurb and although we had a good idea of what we were looking for, we were also open to ideas. Richard visited and listened to our thoughts, adding his own and explaining why some things could/couldn't be done. We really appreciated this, afterall, he's the expert! Once we accepted their quote, we appreciated the ease of communicating with Olivia in the office and being able to visit their showroom to chose our various kitchen items. Richard and his team were efficient and extremely tidy, we also appreciated them arriving when they said they would (bad experiences from elsewhere in the past!). If you want a new kitchen with outstanding craftsmanship and attention to detail then I would absolutely recommend Dawlish Kitchens and Bedrooms Ltd. The design process was flawless, providing gorgeous CAD drawings of the design. Even though I changed my mind about the design and materials (numerous times!) I was not made to feel like I was wasting their time. They were incredibly patient with me. The actual installation went smoothly and all ran on time. I adore my new kitchen. It is gorgeous and I've had lots of complements on the design, cabinets, worktops and flooring. All in all a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend!

Richard helped us turn our ideas into reality by creating a clear plan and helping us choose the right lighting, worktop and finishes to meet our needs. He was very flexible in allowing us to supply various items including the tiles which allowed us a very a wide choice of finishes. The other tradesmen he arranged, to complete the electrical, plumbing, plastering, tiling and painting work did a good job. Richard's work is first rate. He clearly enjoys what he does. From the first he designed, organised, and listened. We got exactly what we wished for.
