Dave did some work on the electrics in my parents bathroom. He turned up when he said he would and completed the job without any issues. Dave is very reliable and conscientious and can be trusted to complete the job on time and at a reasonable cost. He is very friendly, always cleans up after himself and wears boot covers which is essential as my parents have cream carpets! As my parents are elderly it is very important for me (and them) to be able to call on tradesmen that are 100% reliable and trustworthy and Dave ticks all the boxes for me. I initially met Dave when my builder brought him in to do the electrics on a garage conversion and if my builder trusts him he must be good as the builder works to very exacting standards and Dave has always lived up to expectations. Dave is my "go to" electrician and he is now the electrician that my parents will always call as I can rely on him to provide a prompt and excellent service without any worries.

Dave did an electrical check and found a few problems and we arranged a date to have the work done. The work was done to a very high standard. I had some outside lights and a new fan fitted in the shower room. I am very pleased with the work Dave did, and will use him again. Highly recommended. Thanks Dave

David added some additional plug sockets around the house to avoid clutter with extension cables. The work was completed to a high standard and David was professional and cheerful throughout. A couple of added benefits included the video visit to show the work required and referral to his website to show how to avoid overloading sockets. We will be looking to have further work done shortly and will definitely use again.

David popped over today to repair two lights in my home. He had a slot earlier than expected and was happy to let himself in and crack on. The fixtures work perfectly and the house is extremely tidy after the work. We've used David on multiple occasions, he's usually available for work within a week or two for small projects and has been extremely professional, kind, tidy and efficient for each visit. He gets the job done and doesn't faff around. We use David for all our electrical home repairs.

The job comprised the removal of 2 light fittings in what was a kitchen and the installation of 10 ceiling spot lights for what will be a lounge/dining room, and the removal and re-siting of various wall sockets. David has previously re-wired the entire house and we had no hesitation in asking him to do the current work. He is very efficient, prompt and takes the time to make sure you know exactly where you want things to go. Mess is minimal and cleared away, electrical certificates are e-mailed the next day. A problem re-setting one of the lights some while after (damage that we caused) was sorted the next day without any fuss. David is very pleasant and proficient and I have no hesitation in recommending him.

I am a retired building surveyor and over the years meet many tradesman, I was impressed with standard of service. We moved into a new bungalow last year and need electrics to the garage, Day and Knight carryout an excellent professional job, our neighbours who had their garage electrics fitted by the developer wished they had used Day and Knight.

After contacting Dave, he attended to quote within 48 hours and sent through a detailed electronic quote the same day. Dave visited us and quoted for replacement of outside lights and movement sensors on the afternoon of 21st May. I accepted the quote on the evening of 21st May The job was started on the morning of 22nd May and completed by lunchtime. I was pleased to see that Dave took the initiative to modify and re-use the original light support brackets, thus preventing damage to the render.

Turned up on time, very professional throughout, and everything left immaculate. One slight hitch was his initial failure to change single to double power point in the smallest bedroom, used as a study. After checking his quotation he fitted this point without any quibble. Definitely recommended

As promised in my earlier review I used David to replace my old consumer unit, assist with and install some additional circuits and fully test and certify my installation. Very pleased I did.
