Day and Knight is a small, family run business established in 2000 with our focus on quality and our personable and friendly service. We have a lifetime of skills and expertise that has been passed down generation to generation and are highly respected master craftsmen.

This company are quick to attend for consultation and give a fair priced diagrammatic on the day. Once a time period is agreed they attend on time,are a pleasant team,and although they work hard,they manage at all times to maintain a good relationship with the client.They hit the completion targets on the nail. The team's work is excellent and they take care to avoid disruption where possible and clean up well after completion. This is my second project with this first class company and,when I can squeeze a place in their busy schedule a third will follow. From “Dad” who did the measurements and design to his son and team who fitted this we were impressed. Such a better experience than the previous “salesperson” who wasn’t sure what could and couldn’t be done and only had standard sized products. This was a truly bespoke design at a slightly less price than the 'bulk standard” companies. Impressed and definitely would recommend.

I had wardrobes and a large storage cupboard fitted by Day and Knight. Both are excellent and Charlie and James were very professional and tidy. They kept to their promised times - I could not be happier with the results, and they were very helpful. Jonathan came out initially to quote and make drawings, which were immediate and the cost final - no added extras. Would very highly recommend.

This is the second time we have used Day & Knight for a fitted wardrobe and will continue to do so without hesitation! From the initial design & quote by Jonathan we felt that the honesty and professionalism of the company is what makes them a pleasure to deal with. A quote and design was provided within 24 hrs and we scheduled a date for the work shortly thereafter. On the day of the fitting James worked tirelessly all day! We had a double bedroom, which had a difficult sloping ceiling, fitted with wardrobes drawers and cupboards The advice and design was first class and the attention to detail meant that there were several visits before fitting just to make sure that the finished bedroom would be exactly what we wanted. The work which was done was first- class and there was a real sense of a friendly family business.

Had my bedroom done in Nov 17 and the kitchen in Feb 18. It was a pleasure to have the team in our house. They were unfailingly courteous and did everything possible to minimise disruption. The unit materials, installation and decorating was all high quality. Any minor problems were sorted quickly. I still find myself admiring the finish.

We asked for two wardrobes in our bedroom and a simple TV cabinet in our lounge - Jonathan measured and designed these incredibly quickly for us. Everything was really clear and the information Jonathan sent was fab. Charlie and team arrived without any fuss, very friendly and happy to crack on. The work was done so quickly, but to perfection. They tidied up at the end of the first day so nicely considering they were returning the next! And having had numerous trades in our house over the last year, I can say it was a pleasure to have them here. We absolutely love the work they've done and can't recommend them enough. Exactly what we wanted and even better than we had hoped.

Jonathan was really patient whilst we changed the design a couple of times during the quotation phase. Pricing was clear and the team arrived exactly on the day promised. Day & Knight have done a fantastic job in both our hall and study. They fitted our study about 4 years ago and it is superb - excellent quality and work. We had no hesitation turning to them again to fit our hall cupboards. Once again an excellent job and they managed to achieve exactly what my requirements were. Jonathon and Charlie have done another outstanding job, Jonathan & Charlie have done all the wardrobes in our house and still is a work in progress, and I will continue to go Day & Knight. This father and son team are amazing, Jonathan comes and does the design, then Charlie comes and does the fitting, I was away when bedroom 5 I knew without any doubt the work they did would be top notch, when I came home I wasn't disappointed. I cannot recommend this company highly enough, the prices are right, the quality of work is excellent, the product is excellent, in fact everything about this company is excellent and such lovely guys as well a real pleasure doing business with them and look forward to having more work by them Thank again for all your hard work.

We commissioned Day & Knight to build us a fitted wardrobe in a recess in our boy's bedroom. Jonathan took care of the design and came over to us one Saturday to confirm specifics - really great service. The team turned up on the scheduled day, on time, and had the work done efficiently. Precise work, completely reliable. Left everything tidy. Got what we wanted and expected, and worth every penny. There was a slight misunderstanding on one aspect, but Charlie followed up quickly and has offered to help us correct (if we want) in the future at no cost. Overall, these guys are great, and recommend them highly.

From the outset Jonathan, Charlie and Ken were listening to what I wanted, and were helping with good ideas, and alternative designs to think about. They were not pushy or bullish. We contacted Day & Knight to fit a new dressing room, but in hindsight probably contacted them too early. About 6 months and 3 visits later we had finally decided what we needed - Jonathan remained patient throughout, not getting stressed when we changed design, room size, colour and everything else. With a design finally settled, Charlie and colleagues turned up to fit, exactly when they said they would, and did a great job. We had a couple of minor issues to sort out, but they were quickly dealt with, no questions asked. Overall we're very pleased.

Back in October 2017 we had fitted wardrobes in a downstairs double bedroom which are exactly what we wanted. We also had fitted wardrobes in our new loft conversion which was not easy due to uneven walls. I just have to say that we where so chuffed with our new wardrobes that we have now had Jonathon back to make us a set of matching bedroom free standing draws, which we are really looking forward to seeing. Not the cheapest but rest assured, the quality is what you pay for. Very professional and a pleasure to deal with, highly recommend.
