Our tailor-made furniture is built with care, designed to maximise your space and suit your style, transform your home and gives you precisely what you need in terms of storage for all of your clothing and belongings.
Day and Knight is a small, family run business established in 2000 with our focus on quality and our personable and friendly service. We have a lifetime of skills and expertise that has been passed down generation to generation and are highly respected master craftsmen.

Day and Knight are friendly, efficient, competent professionals. Wardrobes were planned with helpful advice from Jonathan to fit our specific requirements exactly. The wardrobes are the perfect storage solution with hanging space, drawers and shelves. The quality is outstanding with real attention to detail - great value for money. James, Jack and Charlie completed the fitting within the time frame given and left the room absolutely clean and tidy. We would thoroughly recommend Day and Knight to anyone wanting bespoke furniture.

Well, what can one say, except that this is such an excellent company and a joy to have such competent, professional people who not only listen but also advise in order that you end up with exactly the look you are wanting. I have just had all three bedrooms fitted, each in different styles and materials and they are fantastic. They are not only very professionaln people, but also very reliable, helpful, friendly and tidy. A date was given for the work to be done and its completion which was adhered to. When the work was completed everything was spic and span which I have not experienced with a lot of other trades people. I would highly recommend this company. In fact I am having them back again to do another little job because I trust them completely and their work is of a very high standard. A very happy customer.

We had a four door fitted wardrobe made for our bedroom in June. The whole experience has been very positive from start to finish. Jonathon was always on time, patient with our changing our minds, and happy to give help and advice. The work was completed very quickly, and we are happy with the result. John and Charlie have been excellent in providing tip top quality service. I had three quotes, one from a local carpenter who came under, one from John Lewis who was about the same for a smaller product, and Day & Knight. I went with Day & Knight as they were specialists and offered a very good explanation of why they designed it in the way they had, detailed every change and talked knowledgeably on their subject. Communication was good leading up to the fitting, and Charlie did a fantastic job of putting the wardrobe together over a couple of days. There's only been one hiccup with one of the doors, to which they are in the process of sorting out and without complaint. Would highly recommend.

Day & Knight refitted our master bedroom and installed bespoke wardrobes specifically to our requirements. We had choice on the wood colour, exact hanging space and for the first time we have plenty of storage for our clothes and a number of pull out drawers for our growing number of shoes. Their service is professional, timely and the materials used and build quality is second to none. As a family business they are friendly, highly competent and we are delighted with the finish of our wardrobes. Highly recommended.

Day and Knight's considerable experience and expertise ensured we now have the unique and individual storage solutions we devised for each of the 3 bedrooms they worked in. We are thrilled with both the look of the finished units, as well as the storage spaces inside. Jonathan was extremely helpful as we worked through any glitches in translating our wishes to a finished solution and the workmanship and carpentry skills, of Jonathan and his team, where of an exemplary standard during the 2 day build. After receiving many ridiculous quotes from numerous so called bedroom furniture specialist for a fitted wardrobe and desk for my sons room I found these guys on Which? and thought I'd give them a go after seeing all the positive reviews and I am so glad I did. Right from the initial design stage Jonathan filled me with confidence with his knowledge and planning ideas and the quote was very competitive for such quality and better than expected. Charlie and Jamie ( great guys) arrived on time when they said they would and although I was a little sceptical, because they looked so young, me and my wife were over the moon with their workmanship and the finished product. The sliding wardrobes look amazing. Great product finished to a very high standard. Can't recommend this company highly enough. You will not be disappointed with Day & Knight.

Very professional company, from the day Jonathan provided the quote to installing the sliding doors. They were fully booked until June/July however managed to squeeze us in before which we appreciated. Turned up on time, tidy , clean and clearly efficient. Friendly and Polite too. Can fault these guys and we are very happy with our new sliding doors. Definitely use them again.

We knew what our functional requirements were, but not how to achieve them. Other companies had offered compromises which did not align to our needs. Then Jonathan arrived, spent over an hour with us, measuring the room, discussing what we wanted, checking on what was behind our thinking and drawing up a design which exactly met our requirements. When his costings came they were very competitive, so we visited a previous customer and were impressed.... but not as impressed as we now are with the results after Charlie and James did a superb job with the fitting. Jonathan came up with a good design for a very difficult space and his son Charlie did a fantastic job fitting what his dad had designed.
