I would recommend this company from the first initial meeting to the end result. Kept in the loop all along Charlie attended my house twice to make sure I was happy all the way through. The fitting day was very smooth. Old wardrobe taken out and disposed of and new wardrobe fitted. No problems at all and cleaned up after excellent. This is a small family and friendly excellent company.

We had a fitted wardrobe built in our main bedroom and a tv / media unit built in our living room. From start to finish the service was great. Charlie came to our house twice to measure up and then James completed the job. It was above and beyond what we were expecting and we are very happy. We got a quote from sharps before this and the price difference was considerably more. Charlie worked with us to establish our budget and we visited the show room to pick everything down to door handles.

Fantastic service from the initial appointment to final installation. Taken in detail through every step of the process. Great attention to finish and on the day their installers went over and above my expectation reconnecting all my AV equipment which I was expecting to do myself. Cannot recommend enough.

We used Day and Knight for fitted wardrobes in three of our bedrooms after previously using them for fitted office furniture. The whole process has been a joy - they came out quickly to quote and gave helpful advice and solutions. When they fitted the wardrobes their staff were on time, friendly and courteous, worked really hard, finished the job on time and, most importantly, have provided us with stunning, high quality wardrobes that look amazing in the bedrooms. Jonathan designed exactly what I wanted and the end product is beyond my expectations. Max led the installation which was carried out swiftly and professionally. The arrangements behind the scenes from Dani was also excellent - always prompt and helpful. I highly recommend this family-run business. You will find they are a bit more expensive than the chain businesses but they are worth the extra money if you want a truly bespoke design with quality product, design and workmanship.

We had a really positive experience with Day & Knight and couldn't recommend them enough. We had a built-in wardrobe designed by Jonathan and installed by the team led by Max. Communication throughout was prompt and easy including the initial home visit, quoting and installation process. We had a fairly set idea about the design and Jonathan helped improve this with his ideas. The finished wardrobe is beautiful, of really high quality, we absolutely love it! Day and Knight Bedroom and Design planned, built and fitted a lovely display unit for my lounge to house the TV etc and with various storage options. From start to finish the process was friendly and professional, with Jonathan making me aware of various options available and ensuring that I was happy with the plans. When fitting started, James was tidy and efficient, ensuring I was happy with the placement of things such as plug sockets, wiring, drawer and cupboard door handles. I’m really pleased with the way the work has been completed. It has transformed and updated my lounge.

I picked Day and Knight to build my living room furniture after reading the website reviews and I am delighted with the quality of work they have done for me (so much so that I am having some more furniture built). Jonathan listened to me when I described what I wanted and then drew the design and also thought of all the things I didn’t (I am a rookie when it comes to bespoke furniture). I live in a mobile home with a vaulted ceiling in the living room and wanted floor to ceiling cupboards built next to the fireplace. This was tricky because the cupboards could not be very deep and there were electric sockets on the wall, the finished job looks fantastic and the cupboards look as if they have always been there, not an addition. I also had a corner unit built for the TV with a cupboard underneath to hide the Sky box and wiring, plus, a 6 drawer unit attached running down the straight wall. This was another tricky job getting the corner just right but again the finished article looks fantastic and like it belongs in the room. The 3 carpenters that completed the build are a credit to the company, they worked very hard, were clean and tidy and very respectful of me and my home. My friends and family have been amazed at what a difference the furniture has made to my living room, and it just looks so right. Many thanks once again from a very satisfied customer.

We ordered a fitted wardrobe. A great local company providing great priced and equally good quality as some of the very large well-advertised brands. Honest to the point approach with lots of great tips/guiding on helping you choose the right wardrobe. Very busy so take this into account when ordering to meet your expectations. The fitters are all friendly and tidy, communicating well with ourselves, and helped to troubleshoot on-site to make necessary adjustments.

After being extremely unimpressed with several larger companies it was a relief to find someone who listened to exactly what it was that I wanted - drew clear plans and took the time to explain all of the options available. The work was done to an extremely high standard and the crew were polite and very tidy! I’m thrilled with the finished works.

Price was so competitive, we were delighted that an awkward job was no trouble. We did have a small setback but this was resolved without any hassle. We have have worked with Day & Knight previously when they fitted wardrobes in four of our bedroom, however the last job we gave them a bit a challenge 4 metre high wardrobes across our landing, as usual they excelled in the design and fitting. Day & Knight are professional, competitively priced, quality independent craftspeople that were recommended to me, and now I recommend them to everyone I know. They have done 3 separate jobs for me around my house, from a built-in alcove cupboards and shelving for the living room; build-in sloping wall-to-wall wardrobe and most recently fitted wall-to-wall cupboards with dresser for the master bedroom. Their standard of work is top notch, they have a very wide selection of cupboard styles, colours and handles. Jonathan, has been my first point of contact, and is highly attentive, is happy to really work to get what you want (and I pushed him to really think outside the box), happy for you to pair his bespoke solutions with handles from other suppliers to get the right look and feel. The installers James and Callum are fantastic - and don't let their age fool you - they know what they are doing. Can't wait for them to do our next few projects inc. home office and kitchen.

I was recommended to Day and Knight by my plasterer Myles Yendell. I had already had two others round to quote and offer design ideas. I wanted something completely different and was pleasantly surprised with Jonathan from Day and Knight. He was very patient and showed me my options by way of drawings. We received excellent service all the way through, from beginning to end. Jonathan responded to my email very quickly and made an appointment to take full note of our requirements. He was helpful with suggestions, took measurements so we could see visualise the finished room and had brought samples with him, so we could see what was available. So good not having to wait for a visual or samples to arrive. A competitive quote arrived later that afternoon. The work commenced on 28 January (date agreed) and took two days. The people carrying out the work were polite, friendly and highly skilled. They worked hard and did a very good professional job. One slight issue which was sorted the following week and took about 10 minutes to resolve. We were kept informed of arrival times each day which was helpful. Jonathan contacted us to make sure all was well and that we were satisfied with the work. A really good job. Thank you.

Slight delay on completion as not enough material to complete shelving. James came up with alternative design but we opted to wait for additional materials to arrive. Our wardrobes were not completed for some weeks because of the lockdown and the team’s understandable difficulty sourcing material but we are very happy with the outcome. John and the team at day and night are very professional and the quality of the workmanship is of a very high standard. The wardrobes that were built were to our specification and John did show us other ways to make the most out of the space. Due to the size of the loft conversion we wanted the wardrobes in a certain place that required the fitter to make an alteration that would allow easy removal of a panel to get to the storage under the eves. Would most definitely use again. Highly recommended.

Day and Knight recently fitted out four rooms in our new build property consisting of a dressing room, bedroom with sliding doors on a wardrobe, smaller wardrobe with box compartments, third bedroom with small wardrobe and an office with cupboards and shelving. The fitting was done over a period of days and his team worked hard and were accommodating to some amendments that were required. The furniture they fitted was of a good standard and there is plenty of choice of colours and designs. They were very good at getting replacement pieces for ones that had been damaged in transit through no fault of their own, no quibbles. They are a small family run business and very customer focused. Right from the start Johnathan was prompt with his first visit to measure up and discuss colours and even came back a couple of days later to show some more colours when we had second thoughts about those chosen. Quoted that evening with a very fair price which was agreed and a 50% deposit paid so work could commence and a 4 week completion date agreed, with balance due on complete satisfaction which is refreshing that Johnathan has that faith in his work when so many companies want full payment up front. Furniture delivered and fitted as promised on due date but Johnathan had noticed a small blemish on the top as it was unpacked but no problem it was fitted so we could use it and a week later his son came back with the replacement perfect. Fantastic service and no way could we have bought the furniture ready made to fit so perfectly.

We had two offices completely furbished and we are delighted with the results. We had everything from desks, cupboards, bookshelves and filing cabinets built and installed to a very high standard and we would highly recommend to all.

Work completed - His & Hers wardrobes built in an alcove with a sloping roof, it included built in storage behind the bed and 2 matching Ottomans for the base of the bed. Their advice was invaluable from the initial design meeting, when the design was finalised all of the way through the installation process. They were relivable and did their utmost during the process, to keep the inevitable dust to a minimum and very polite and professional at all times. They came from a recommendation, and we in tern would have no concerns about recommending them ourselves. They have transformed our Master Bedroom.

Day & Knight installed cupboards and shelving, plus an entertainment unit across four alcoves either side of two chimney breasts. So pleased with a complete study refit that Day & Knight did for us some years ago, we had no hesitation in asking them to design a coat cupboard in our entrance hall. The remit was quite specific to give the effect of just a continuation of the wall. It was also to be quite limited in depth but with undermounted pull out clothes hangers for easy access. It's perfect! The workmanship is excellent and Jonathan and Charlie are very professional and great guys to work with. I would highly recommend.

Commission them to build a triple bunk bed with accompanying storage having seen the design I wanted online. They did a brilliant job and the finish of the product exceeded my expectations. I have since asked them to do further jobs for me.

From “Dad” who did the measurements and design to his son and team who fitted this we were impressed. Such a better experience than the previous “salesperson” who wasn’t sure what could and couldn’t be done and only had standard sized products. This was a truly bespoke design at a slightly less price than the 'bulk standard” companies. Impressed and definitely would recommend.

I had wardrobes and a large storage cupboard fitted by Day and Knight. Both are excellent and Charlie and James were very professional and tidy. They kept to their promised times - I could not be happier with the results, and they were very helpful. Jonathan came out initially to quote and make drawings, which were immediate and the cost final - no added extras. Would very highly recommend.

This is the second time we have used Day & Knight for a fitted wardrobe and will continue to do so without hesitation! We had a double bedroom, which had a difficult sloping ceiling, fitted with wardrobes drawers and cupboards The advice and design was first class and the attention to detail meant that there were several visits before fitting just to make sure that the finished bedroom would be exactly what we wanted. The work which was done was first- class and there was a real sense of a friendly family business.

Had my bedroom done in Nov 17 and the kitchen in Feb 18. It was a pleasure to have the team in our house. They were unfailingly courteous and did everything possible to minimise disruption. The unit materials, installation and decorating was all high quality. Any minor problems were sorted quickly. I still find myself admiring the finish.

We asked for two wardrobes in our bedroom and a simple TV cabinet in our lounge - Jonathan measured and designed these incredibly quickly for us. They tidied up at the end of the first day so nicely considering they were returning the next! Day & Knight have done a fantastic job in both our hall and study. They fitted our study about 4 years ago and it is superb - excellent quality and work. Charlie and James fitted our bedroom furniture. They worked very hard and completed the job ahead of schedule, and the finish was very good. Being a bit of a perfectionist i cannot fault any of their work, they did a sterling job.

We commissioned Day & Knight to build us a fitted wardrobe in a recess in our boy's bedroom. Jonathan took care of the design and came over to us one Saturday to confirm specifics - really great service. The team turned up on the scheduled day, on time, and had the work done efficiently. Precise work, completely reliable. Left everything tidy. Got what we wanted and expected, and worth every penny. There was a slight misunderstanding on one aspect, but Charlie followed up quickly and has offered to help us correct (if we want) in the future at no cost. We contacted Day and Knight to give us a quote for our kitchen. From the outset Jonathan, Charlie and Ken were listening to what I wanted, and were helping with good ideas, and alternative designs to think about. They were not pushy or bullish. We contacted Day & Knight to fit a new dressing room, but in hindsight probably contacted them too early. About 6 months and 3 visits later we had finally decided what we needed - Jonathan remained patient throughout, not getting stressed when we changed design, room size, colour and everything else. John and Charlie have been excellent in providing tip top quality service. I had three quotes, one from a local carpenter who came under, one from John Lewis who was about the same for a smaller product, and Day & Knight. I went with Day & Knight as they were specialists and offered a very good explanation of why they designed it in the way they had, detailed every change and talked knowledgeably on their subject. Communication was good leading up to the fitting, and Charlie did a fantastic job of putting the wardrobe together over a couple of days. There's only been one hiccup with one of the doors, to which they are in the process of sorting out and without complaint. Would highly recommend.

We had Day and Knight to re-work our son's room which is small and has the added complication of a bulkhead. All the work was carried out to a very high standard and we are very pleased with the end result.

Charlie and Jamie ( great guys) arrived on time when they said they would and although I was a little sceptical, because they looked so young, me and my wife were over the moon with their workmanship and the finished product. Very professional company, from the day Jonathan provided the quote to installing the sliding doors. They were fully booked until June/July however managed to squeeze us in before which we appreciated. Turned up on time, tidy , clean and clearly efficient. Friendly and Polite too. With sloping ceilings, loft hatches and a chimney breast to contend with Jonathan designed us a good combination of wardrobes and chest of draws and a blanket box to suit our space.
