We are very pleased with the internal and external lighting work that Darrell has performed for us and we will be reaching out to him again for any future electrical work. He was clear what the work would entail beforehand, and during the course of the work he also identified and resolved a safety issue from a previous occupier. He was very helpful and communicated well. The quality of his work is high and we would recommend!

This is the third time Darrell has done work for me; clearly, I wouldn’t use him again if I weren’t happy with his work and pricing. This last job was a logistical challenge, upgrading the power supply from the consumer unit to the kitchen to support a range cooker. It needed someone with vision to see the best way to sort it out, and the job went without a hitch (except the cat going under the floorboards!) As well as having years of experience, Darrell is an easy company in the house while the work is undertaken. Highly recommended based on my experience.

We needed an EICR certificate for our property and after seeing the excellent reviews for DC Electricals we contacted Darrell and were not disappointed. Following the very thorough check, we were advised we needed a new Consumer unit as ours no longer met the building regulations and insurance for houses converted to flats. Darrell changed the unit and while at our flat, we asked if he could replace a bathroom shaver light and he tided cables and wires in the crawl space under our flat which he did perfectly. Darrell is extremely knowledgeable, trustworthy, reliable and professional. He also takes time to explain exactly what needs to be done and why. We would highly recommend DC Electricals and Darrell and we would not hesitate to use him in the future.

Darrell is a diligent professional that we would highly recommend. He carried out a full electrical survey of our property; located a fault; corrected it; retested and then when he was satisfied he issued the appropriate certificate. At a later date he also removed a number of light fittings replacing them with drop pendants in readiness for our house move. An experienced electrician who knows what he’s doing and tidies up when he’s finished. Highly recommend.

Darrell has done 3-4 jobs for me now and I have always been impressed with the service. He's always quick to reply, happy to discuss details or suggest alternatives and very good at organising to make the work happen around other tasks. He's installed a 3-phase meter box for me that had to happen on the same day as Octopus Energy and the National Grid and it changed last minute, no problem for Darrell and he came in and sorted it anyway. Darrell and Jaiden installed several electrical sockets, fitted some outside lights and fixed our TV to the wall. Darrell was very responsive via Whatsapp, always letting us know what time he was coming and was never late. Both did some really excellent work, perfectly finished and were a pleasure to have in the house.

The work involved the removal of an old earth leakage circuit breaker at the mains and installing a new double pole rcd and enclosure This was followed by the removal of an old cooker and installation of a new cooker. Darrell kept us informed at all stages and the work was carried out in an efficient and professional manner and to cost quoted. I would thoroughly recommend Darrell and will certainly contact him for any future electrical work

Darrell installed new isolation switches in our kitchen. He was very good at explaining what we needed and why. And what we didn't need and why not. He gave us a quote in advance and that's what he charged. He managed to reschedule our job to get it done earlier, keeping us up to date by text. He worked efficiently and tidily and gave us exactly what we needed. I will definitely be calling him if I need any more electrical work carried out.

Darrell and Jaiden carried out a complete rewire of our house, including lighting and electrics in the loft and garage, as well as fixing our faulty house alarm system. Right from the start Darrell explained what needed to be done, and why, keeping us fully informed as the work progressed Both Darrell and Jaiden were meticulous, in every thing they did. They worked hard to cause as little disturbance to the house/decorations as possible and were very tidy, always cleaning up after themselves before leaving each day. Everything was done in line with current legislation, with Darrell going out of his way to ensure even the smallest legal requirement was met. Darrell installed outside electrics to my shed. Involved laying 50m armoured cable through my garden. When job was completed you wouldn't know they'd been. Whole installation neat tidy, tested, labelled and compliant with all regs and certified. Great attention to detail of what I wanted, useful advice. Clean, tidy and easy couple of workers to have around the place.

Darrell and Jay ran electrical wiring from our house to our work shop at the bottom. He is very punctual and explained how he will run it. Both Darrell and Jay are such lovely, friendly people. This is second time we have used DC Electrical Services and we will certainly use them in the future for any further electrical work. DC Electrical services were recommended to me as we were in the process of completely refurbishing a house and this required a full re-wire. I can totally understand why Darryl and Jaydon of DC Electrical Services were recommended to me. I too would whole heartedly recommend them to anyone requiring very high quality electrical work. Over some quite considerable period of time Darryl and Jaydon turned up always as planned and agreed to carry out first fix and then second fix electrical re-wiring throughout the house - 3 bedrooms, lounge, kitchen, dining room and bathroom. Having agreed with Darryl what we required, he worked efficiently and very tidily through each room, with all work completed to both agreed schedule and budget. Darryl is very good at explaining what he is doing and why and helpful with his suggestions on matters I had not considered. I would without hesitation use DC Electrical Services for any future electrical work and 100% recommend him to anyone requiring electrical services.

We recently had Darrel and team complete a full rewire of a shop that we recently opened, the deadline was tight but DC electrical worked restlessly throughout to get the job done for us in time for opening day. We also had a full emergency lighting system installed and linked smoke alarms throughout the shop. The guys arrived when they said they would, completed the work to a high standard and kept the site clean and tidy. Nothing was too much trouble and we had some good laughs whilst working on the project with them. If you require any electrical work, and want a professional job done I would not hesitate to give DC electrical a call.

I had a problem with the fuse board tripping at random and as a result John Lewis were unable to install a new oven until the problem was fixed. Darrell spent 3 hours meticulously checking the wiring/circuits and performing tests before reluctantly concluding that the fuse board needed replacing. Darrell and Jaiden then spent a day replacing the board and were thoroughly professional and a delight to have around – polite and cheerful but focused on their work. Darrell kept me informed on what needed doing and why, explaining in layman terms so I had a good understanding of what was going on. The invoice was exactly as quoted and considering he spent all day doing the work and 3 hours on a previous day diagnosing the fault, I consider his prices to be extremely competitive. I now have a bang up to date, tidily installed fuse board and yes, JL successfully installed my new oven with no electrical faults. Final point, Darrell will always make a point of immediately returning calls. I thoroughly recommend him and will definitely use D C Electrics for any future work.

Darrell recently installed a 3 phase meter box for me. It was planned well in advance to make sure all the right people turned up on the day and Darrell made sure he was ready to go first thing in the morning. He worked right through the afternoon to line up with the National Grid people installing the main cabling and it all went to plan. Downstairs ring main went dead. I called and had a chat with Darrell who went through things to see if there was anything I could do to rectify the fault on my own. I tried what he suggested and it confirmed there was a problem beyond me to fix. He turned up today as promised and fixed the problem with 20-30 minutes. Super polite and clear about the problem and the fix. Fair price for the call out and the job. I will definitely use DC again if needed.

Darrell not only installed my Ring Doorbell seamlessly, but he also ensured it was connected to the app and was working effectively. Darrell was a pleasure to have at my home. He was efficient both with the quote and installation, was polite and personable. Everything was left clean and tidy after the installation.

We have had work done by Darrell previously and have been very impressed with both the excellent work and the care and consideration given to us and our home. My partner needed to have an electricity supply to his workshop in the garden, so Darrell was the obvious choice. He quoted for two possible options and discussed exactly what electrical items would be used. He then advised us that the least expensive option would be absolutely fine, he didn’t try to persuade us to spend more than was necessary. We found Darrell and his apprentice Jaiden a pleasure to have working at our house. They are pleasant and friendly, they work to a very high standard and clean up afterwards. Absolute first-class service from beginning to end. Had new extractor fan, fitted oven hob and cooker hood, electric towel rail. All work was completed to a very high standard and finished within quoted time. We have used DC Electrics before and can't rate them highly enough.

Darrell came and fitted 2 Ring alarms, Darrell did a fantastic job, he set up the zones and made sure the lights were lighting up the right areas. He showed us how to use it and made sure we were comfortable with using it. Darrell and his apprentice Layton were lovely, I felt extremely comfortable with them both and they were very friendly. They clearly take pride in their work. They were a pleasure to have in the house - professional, friendly, neat and tidy and even cleaned up any resulting dust! Darrell fixed our intruder alarm. He was efficient and thorough, explaining things clearly. Very professional job.

We wanted lighting updated in hall/landing/porch, Darrell was able to advise positioning and number of lights in each area then provide a quote. Darrell and his apprentice carried out the work to a high standard arrived to start the work at the agreed time and the work was completed within the day left the hall, stairs and landing clean and tidy!

Due to Covid regulations I was unable to help my mother set up her television in Bristol. This was complicated by delivery services refusing to set up anything under a 40 inch screen size. I contacted Daryl at DC Electrical services who was able to set up and explain the television to my mothers satisfaction and kept me informed throughout the process. Resulting in two very satisfied customers.
