The upholsterer was helpful on our first visit to choose material and agree the work. The chairs were picked up as agreed and returned completed within the estimated time. The price was as agreed. The work was to a good standard and we are very pleased with the end result.

We were very pleased with the work carried out to our dining room chairs and leather armchairs. The service was fast and friendly and completed in approx 2weeks, considering we had eight chairs to be re- upholstered. We would recommend this trader and would use them again.

Job was to replace cushions on 2 conservatory chairs and cushion and webbing on foot stool. We wanted the chair cushions to be a little thicker and longer than the originals. The cushions and stool were both collected from and delivered back to us. Completed ahead of time and the total cost was exactly as previously advised. An excellent job of upholstery and we are very pleased with both the look and the comfort of the cushions. Derek was always on time and he and his staff were always very courteous. We have no hesitation in recommending Dee Cee Upholstery and indeed it is the second time that we have used them.

After DeeCee made such an excellent job of our dining chairs we asked them to reupholster two Edwardian chairs that we had. Once again they did not disappoint, the work was excellent as was the service we received from them. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Inherited a drab old chair, which despites its looks fitted well in our family room. Derek collected the chair, stripped it down completely, got the wood cleaned and polished, and reupholstered it, then delivered it back to me. It now looks amazing. Our two chairs had once been very comfortable. They are over 50 years old and had been sat upon by us and bounced upon by the grandchildren. The springs on one chair were badly distorted and the upholstery had been scratched and worn by our now deceased cat. Dee Cee upholstery welcomed us to their premises with the required lockdown restrictions and showed us a great selection of fabrics. They advised us to consider deeper cushions, which we ordered. We were told about the likely time they could start the work and the length of time it would take. We took sample books home to compare colours and shades and were sent an invoice. The work was completed within budget. The chairs were collected from home and then delivered back after completion. They look really smart. Derek and the showroom staff were helpful. We were pleased to have the work undertaken and completed so promptly.

Excellent service. I reviewed this company on completion and gave them an excellent review. Unfortunately we had a problem but DeeCee resolved this issue so quickly. Such an excellent service and very pleased with the result.

We are really pleased with the work Dee Cee Upholstery have completed. They made 5 new cushions for our suite and it is now like having a completely new suite without the expense of a brand new suite. It is such a sensible option to upgrade and refresh a tired suite with newly made seats and covers. The suite is really modern looking now and fabulously comfortable. I couldn't replace my kitchen chairs as they didn't do them anymore so got them recovered and they are as good as new - really pleased. Also feel virtuous and better for environment to redo than throwing away

I purchased a second-hand sofa to use as extra seating for family "get-togethers". I decided to have it recovered. However, I had chosen an expensive fabric so I phoned Dee Cee’s and explained. Derek offered to pop in on his way home to check the stability of the sofa, and we agreed a date/time. Having reviewed the fabric sample and sofa Derek advised me that the sofa was sturdy enough for the job; that I would not be wasting my money and anticipated a further 25 years use. I received an estimate and paid my deposit. Karen ordered the material. (There was a delay because the fabric company were waiting for the velvet - to add their design to. Due to the ‘hangover’ of ‘Covid delays’ this company went out of business.) Dee Cees offered to return my deposit but I asked them to hold it while I chose another design. At this point, I spent a month in the hospital. My husband rang Dee Cee’s to explain ‘my’ post-Christmas delay and asked them to hold the deposit. I was finally able to settle on a fabric design and I phoned Derek. To make absolutely certain they ordered the correct fabric Derek offered to collect the sample that day. The fabric was more expensive than the original however Dee Cee’s did not increase their estimate and the invoice total remained the same. Karen and Derek have been really helpful and informative. Made advanced bookings to pick up and drop off the sofa, and have always adhered to agreed times.

This is the second time I have used Dee Cee Upholstery, this time it was to have some dining room chairs and conservatory furniture covered. I have to admit , that I was in two minds whether to reupholster or buy new chairs, the costs were similar. However, there is no comparison, my dining room chairs and conservatory furniture now match and have been expertly upholstered, look stunning and I am so pleased with the result. The workmanship is outstanding. My furniture was collected and brought back to me in a very short space of time. Everyone at DeeCee Upholstery are friendly knowledgeable and very professional. I would not hesitate in recommending them.

I have used this company twice in the past, so when l needed our dining chairs reupholstered we asked them to do the job. As before they were very helpful and knowledgeable about what needed to be done, and as promised the dining chairs were done and delivered back to our house the very next day and at the exact price quoted. From the first enquiry to the finished job, we were delighted with the service that Derek, Karen and his co-worker (sorry, can't remember his name!) provided. Our sofa bed, which we'd bought secondhand three years ago and which we wanted reupholstered to blend in with the rest of our decoration and furniture, now looks new. Though we are no experts, the quality of workmanship is plain to see; and the service from picking up the sofa to return (2 weeks) was excellent and, most importantly, to the date specified and price agreed. Needless to say, we'd highly recommend Dee Cee and would certainly consider using them again if needing further furniture renovation.

Friendly and easy to deal with. We never had to wait for a response - callbacks were very prompt; quote and revised quotes were issued quickly. Everything was so quick and easy - from making a first enquiry to choosing fabric and then getting the job done and receiving the invoice. Very smooth and professional. We are delighted with the result - 2 modern and 4 antique dining chairs all very smart and comfortable in a matter of a couple of weeks.

I took in the ‘back’ cushions of a large sofa which had collapsed after a few years of boisterous kids using them in pillow fights… Dee Cee did an incredible job re-stuffing them, making them firmer and more comfortable than ever! I’m so impressed by the professionalism and quality of service. The cost feels a bit high, but for the level of service it’s definitely fair.

I used this firm several years ago and they are still as good as I found them then. Nothing is too much trouble and the work first class. They really pulled the stops out to get the job done for me on a chair before I had visitors. Highly recommended.

We were unsure about whether to reupholster our sofas or buy new ones. We have definitely made the right decision. The frames of the sofas were sound, the work that Dee Cee have done to reupholster is first class so effectively we have new sofas again. Dee Cee have been very helpful all the way through the process. They offered us 'courtesy' replacement chairs, but for us, it was just as easy for them to do one sofa at a time, collecting the second sofa when they returned the first. An excellent service. One final thought - we could have bought new sofas but, for the money, they wouldn't have been so good ... and it is too easy these days to just throw good stuff away.
