Established in 1978, we are one of the South’s leading experts in Upholstery and Rise and Recline Mobility Chairs.
Partner in Dee Cee Upholstery, Derek Caplen, became the youngest master Upholsterer in the UK at the tender age of 21, and by the age of 43 he had become the youngest Fellow of the Association of Master Upholsterers for his outstanding contribution in training young people, and dedication to the A.M.U. and Soft Furnishers.
As suppliers of award winning, quality Rise and Recline Mobility Chairs, we are acknowledged experts, recommended by occupational therapists, physiotherapists and healthcare professionals, and are approved specialist suppliers to local councils and the NHS.

Recently dropped in a couple of back cushions from my sofa as the padding had gone! Within 2 days I had the cushions back stronger than ever & looking like new. Price was cheaper than buying the cheap standard filling. Will definitely use again.

I have three very old barley-sugar leg dining chairs, all of which had their original leather seats, but the leather was crazed and torn, and then one of the seats got broken. I took it over to Derek to ask if he could do anything. He has repaired the broken seat and re-covered all three seats with a lovely coloured leather he had in stock, and in addition is very kindly reglueing the back of one of the chairs for no additional cost. The work did not take long and the chairs look beautiful and are very comfortable. I highly recommend this firm.

Derek re-upholstered a fireside chair for us two years ago in a check pattern fabric. We had another fireside chair that we wanted to match so Derek took photos to ensure the pattern looked the same. Derek picked up the chair last week and delivered it back today. The workmanship is superb and we couldn't be happier with the result. We would recommend DeeCee wholeheartedly.

I have had Dee Cee Upholstery's before they are a very trustworthy firm. Very helpful. I am absolutely thrilled with my suite. In April, I tried another firm to reupholster my furniture, it was an absolute disaster from beginning to end. I wouldn't let them take it back to retry the work. Instead, I rang Dee Cee they came and I now have a beautiful furniture.
