We would like to introduce you to Dee Cee Upholstery and Interior’s World of Comfort.
Established in 1978, we are one of the South’s leading experts in Upholstery and Rise and Recline Mobility Chairs.
Partner in Dee Cee Upholstery, Derek Caplen, became the youngest master Upholsterer in the UK at the tender age of 21, and by the age of 43 he had become the youngest Fellow of the Association of Master Upholsterers for his outstanding contribution in training young people, and dedication to the A.M.U. and Soft Furnishers.
As suppliers of award winning, quality Rise and Recline Mobility Chairs, we are acknowledged experts, recommended by occupational therapists, physiotherapists and healthcare professionals, and are approved specialist suppliers to local councils and the NHS.
We have also won local and national awards for exceptional customer service.

Dee Cee re upholstered a 1960's sewing box. They did a very good job especially as the sewing box was in a bad state. I am delighted with the result. This is the second time I have used Dee Cee they re upholstered 2 chairs a number of years ago and there workmanship then was exceptional. Won't buy new used Dee Cee to upgrade.

Cannot fault the speedy, friendly and expert service provided by Dee Cee. I really wish I had more chairs to take to the shop so that they could be given a new 'lease of life'. I very rarely bother to give feedback but felt in this case it would be such a pity not to share my very positive experience. This is a firm that we are very lucky to have in this area.

Thank you for your review , about your small antique walnut showood chair that we recently re-upholstered and renovated in a light golden beige velvet . Whilst it was in our showroom awaiting collection it was admired by our customers in fact one customer inquired if it was for sale .
We had our large three seater settee and single chair recovered by Dee Cee.

It took us a long time to decide on material but it never was a bother, Derek arrived on time for every appointment and was very friendly and helpful. The furniture went from red and gold 1998 to an Ash colour fabric with soft texture 2019! They repaired the base and it’s feels like a brand new settee. We were offered two chairs to use which was invaluable whilst being covered. Everyone has said how lovely it looks and feels. Excellent service from all the team at Dee Cee’s. Thank you.

Our customer in Eastleigh went through nearly every sample in our pattern book library in our Portswood showroom but got there in the end . They chose a ash grey soft chenille and we supplied replacement seat cushion interiors to make the suite look and feel brand new . Thank you for the business .

We had to replace the leather fabric on our dining room table chairs which were split and worn. We did consider replacing the chairs but are so glad that we did not, Dee Cee Upholstery did an excellent job – seamless throughout, very helpful on the telephone responding to our first email enquiry, a wonderful range of fabrics. Very quick and efficient service; collection work completed and delivery. The quality of the work cannot be faulted and we have ended up with a far superior set of chairs both in comfort and quality than originally provided by the furniture retailer. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Excellent, professional, efficient and courteous service provided throughout, from the initial enquiry through to home delivery once the job had been completed which was well ahead of the estimated timescale. Thank you for such a positive and detailed review , it was a pleasure to do business with Mrs. Goddard as it was easy because our customer new exactly what she wanted in terms of fabric choice for her conservatory suite ,we were happy to oblige The cushion interiors were in good condition and only needed a wrap of fire retardant polyester covered with a stockinet lining to make up as good as new . Our customer was very impressed with our service and superb quality of workmanship. We also applied fabric stain protection together with a 5 year anti stain policy .
Sofas better than new!

We had 2 sofas 15 years old & they were a little tired in particular the material although we loved the style & size. Throughout the whole process, Derek & his team made it easy from going through fabrics to the end result. The workmanship far exceeded our expectations. We opted for firmer seat cushions & all new scatter backs. Our sofas are now unique & better than new. You need to remember that upholstery isn’t a cheaper option to buying new but what you get is far better in quality of padding, comfort & material & that will stay looking great for longer. Having looked at new sofas the quality isn’t there. We now have two beautifully unique pieces. I was originally recommended this company from a family member who had new arm covers made for her sofa & I have to say it’s the best decision I made going with Dee Cee, I will also be recommending them on.

Had a three-piece settee and other furniture reupholstered a few years ago. Just had another TV chair reupholstered based on how good they were then. DeeCee are superb. Top quality work and they take huge pains to match the fabric so each chair looks identical. I cannot fault them at all and would use them again should we have more furniture needing to be reupholstered. I consider their prices very reasonable.

I had a small sofa in need of total refurbishment. The back had been burnt it was old the springs had gone on one side. I contacted Dee Cee to see if it could be saved as it was a well made piece. Derek from Dee Cee came to see me I received a written quote which I accepted and had a further home visit to select the covering. I was absolutely thrilled when the sofa came back in such a beautiful condition it will last for years now.
