From our first enquiry to completion of re-upholstering our six dining chairs, we received helpful advice on selecting the fabric, clear pricing and Terms. The chairs were collected, with our consent, sooner than originally planned and returned in an excellent condition, to our complete satisfaction within 48 hours. Dee Cee is a well-known business and has been used by other members of our immediate family.

Would really recommend DeeCee upholstery. A fantastic job was carried out recovering my dining chairs. They had a great selection of materials available to choose from, but helped narrow the selection down for me to make choosing easy and simple. They also offer a stain protection and collected and dropped off my chairs to my house, which was really helpful. Great customer service and a very professional job, will definitely be using again.

Derek and team have been a pleasure to deal with. We have had an old M&S sofa (24 years old) re-upholstered to an amazing standard, it looks better than new. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is second to none. It was a 2 week turnaround and they kindly provided chairs for us to use in the interim period. A full overhaul and recovering of a three piece suite, restoring it to the same brand new condition as when we bought it nearly twenty years ago. Done quickly within the time estimated and delivered when agreed. The whole process from original visit to delivery went very well. They also supplied furniture for us to use whilst the job was being done. Cost was very similar to a big national company, so it was good to go local.

I had a stool top re-upholstered. Nicely done and no doubt will last a lifetime.

Derek came to my house, I chose a fabric, he gave me a quote, checked the material was in stock and took the two settees away a few days later, leaving me two arm chairs to use in the meantime. I recently left a review for work carried out by Derek and his team to re-upholster our office chair and our 3 piece sweet cushions and supply a new mattress for the sofa bed. So outstanding was the work that we decided to get our oak dining room chairs re-upholstered too. We picked them up today. First class work again and carried out very quickly. Even though the pattern of the hard-wearing covers was not critical for placement matching on each chair, Derek matched placement for all of the cushions for our chairs and they look stunning in our dining room … Derek also treated the cloth with a product to protect against soiling … an extra bonus … thank you for restoring our furniture … if it’s real craftwork you need and at a reasonable price, look no further … brilliant!

We had a sofa bed and two armchairs that needed new seating cushions plus a new mattress for the sofa bed. Also an office swivel chair that needed reupholstering. All the pieces were of good frame quality. Derek was very knowledgeable and clearly took great pride in his work having received numerous awards. Nevertheless Derek was approachable and gave us reasonable quotes. We also visited his shop in Southampton to chose the material for the work. The work was carried out in a reasonable period of time and was delivered to us today. Amazing! The old office swivel chair is now as new having been re-padded and covered to a very high quality. The mattress fits perfectly and is very supportive and comfortable with a zip fasening to enable removal of the cover for laundering … great thinking. All of the seating cushions have been meticulously re-padded and covered so that the lines on the tartan cloth we chose are coordinated and match perfectly at the edges etc. … superb craftmanship. We would thoroughly recommend Dee Cee Upholstery for providing a very high standard of care and attention and at a reasonable price … it is very hard to find, these days, small business tradesmen who take great pride in applying their expertese and skill in restoring furniture to its former glory but Derek is one of them. I have used Dee Cee a number of times over the years, from buying an Ottoman to having a piece of furniture restored. Today I went to the shop to buy some foam for a problem in my car!! Each time all the staff were friendly and very knowledgeable, but more importantly the workmanship has throughout been first rate. I have no hesitation in recommending Dee Cee to anyone.

I have used Dee Cee Upholstery before for upholstery work, and always found their work to be top-notch; and I recently decided to try them on a repair job on the frame of a dining room chair that had become wobbly and needed serious attention. Friends had said that all was needed was to insert screws into the loose joints, but fortunately I decided to ask Derek what he would do, and he said that, for a proper job, one would need to disassemble the chair and replace the dowels of the joints. I am so happy I went to him: they did a fantastic repair to the chair and now I am sure that it will last for years + he even, at my request, replaced the chair leg pads, which I was very grateful for, as I am so tired of doing this myself with stick-on felt pads that usually come off after a few months. At Dee Cee Upholstery, they do it properly with screw-on felt pads, and this was a great discovery for me.

Dee Cee upholstery are a pleasure to deal with, providing a very high standard of craftmanship and excellent value. Our much loved 1950s utility mark sofa and Parker Knoll chair are look fantastic and looking once again good as new. They are greatly superior to anything new we could buy new at equivalent cost. The seat cushions on my bed settee were getting tired and needed to be replaced. I washed the loose covers and took them them to Dee Cee Upholstery to be refilled. As I no longer drive, I took the bus which was very easy as the bus stop is practically outside the shop. I was given a very competitive price for the work, and was told that the finished cushions would be delivered free of charge. As the shop was recommended to me, I was happy to pay in advance to save paying on delivery. I was especially grateful that the refilled cushions were delivered, I would never have managed them on the bus and that saved an expensive taxi fare. The work was completed ahead of the agreed date, and the cushions delivered as arranged with no issues. I am really happy with the work done. Now I need to get my armchair done, and will be going back to Dee Cee Upholstery in due course.

The original cushions for our sofa were too soft. We visited DeeCee on a personal recommendation and were advised by Derek - the owner - on the best type of cushion filler for the job. We have just picked the cushions up and put them back in place - they are perfect. We are very pleased with the job and result and will recommend this company. I have two Cintique fireside chairs I inherited from my parents. They were in an exceptionally bad state after 72 years of constant use. Dee Cee have recushioned and reupholstered them and they are now as good as new. I received very friendly, courteous and punctual service.

Our daughter returned from uni with an office chair in such a state it was not allowed in the house. Dee Cee worked their magic on it, now we fight over who is to use it! Superb all round service right from our first visit to the showroom to the final delivery of the chair.
